    July 26 2007
    -	2-month outside test with stable battle play
    -	New-brand MMOFPS, distinct with other FPS games

Webzen’s Huxley, which is scheduled to start close beta in September, has successfully completed its Focus Group Test (FGT).

FGT is a test performed by a focus group of potential users before a game is launched, in the purpose of reflecting the user’s direct feedback into the final development stage. In preparation for this testing, Webzen built an independent Huxley FGT room in its headquarters and has conducted a 3-phase FGT to 100 online game users constituted of different age groups and gender for 2 months since June.

This FGT is the first outside test for the gamers, and gamers got a chance to test the FPS elements such as death matches and quests. Webzen believes that the FGT will contribute to the realization of stable battle play based on the Unreal 3 engine.

The users who participated in the FGT were mainly FPS and MMORPG/casual game users. After testing the game, the gamers provided feedbacks such as ‘the new game play and graphics which cannot be seen in the existing FPS games, were very unique’, ‘looking forward to the various game play in the city ’.

Huxley’s producer Ki Jong Kang said, “The test results were encouraging and gamers showed high adaptability towards the new game system. We will try to implement as much feedback possible and present with a new game play that meets with the users’ anticipation.”

In the meantime, Webzen will conduct continuous internal tests and research in order to successfully launch the game.
