MU Online Unveils Kardamahal Underground Temple, Expands Level Cap, and Introduc

WEBZEN, a leading global developer and publisher of PC and mobile games is excited to announce the latest update for its iconic PC MMORPG, MU Online, introducing a brand-new hunting ground, along with a host of exciting events and enhancements.
New Hunting Ground ? Kardamahal Underground Temple
Deep beneath Karutan’s southern caves lies the Kardamahal Underground Temple, now overrun by Kundun’s demonic forces. Players level 1,500 and above can challenge powerful elemental monsters like Devil Sword and Devil Sorcery to earn rare rewards like talismans and combination fragments.
Character Max Level Expansion & Season Level Reward Muun
As part of the Season 20 Part 1 2nd Update, MU Online raises the maximum character level from 1,650 to 1,700, inviting players to push their limits further than ever before.
To mark this milestone, those who reach level 1,600 and level 1,650 before the next season will receive exclusive season rewards in the form of new powerful Muun companions. This includes the Alchemist Muun, newly introduced this season, and the Dark Lord Muun, a reward from the previous season that can still be obtained during this one. Both Muuns boost basic abilities by 20 times for 30 days, offering valuable advantages on the journey ahead.
Alchemist Exclusive Equipment
The Alchemist, a class added in the previous update, now gains access to powerful new equipment designed to enhance its distinct combat style. This includes Wings of Protection (Lv. 3), Wings of Purity (Lv. 4), and Wings of Wisdom (Lv. 5), each offering increased defense, damage boost, and damage absorption. The Wings of Wisdom come with a special Wing Core that further amplifies attack, wizardry, and curse abilities. Complementing these are new weapon and socket armor options, crafted to further empower Alchemists as they forge their path in the game.
Events and Special Offers
Celebrate the update with exciting events and rewards available through September 9:
- Collect Elemental Symbols in Kardamahal Underground Temple to craft Superior Pentagrams and unlock the Elemental Box containing rare items like Sealed Bloodangel Armor and Kundun’s Seal Scroll
- Receive a 30% EXP boost during special hours and benefit from a 20% permanent reduction in monster HP throughout the event
- Enhance 1st Mastery Bloodangel equipment safely, as items will not disappear upon failure up to +11
- Experience a 20% increased success rate when upgrading Mastery Accessories from +8 to +15.
- Mount and extract Seed Spheres free of charge during the event.
Competitive players are invited to join the Lapidary Stone Ranking Event, where the top 10 across all servers will claim glory and the prestigious Earring of Foliage as the ultimate prize.

MU Online introduces new class Alchemist along with Speed Server Events

WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of PC and mobile games, is pleased to announce the release of a brand-new character, the Alchemist, in its long-running classic PC MMORPG, MU Online.
The latest update introduces the Alchemist, a new magic-type class that utilizes the art of alchemy to manipulate matter and unleash powerful elemental attacks. Players can create the Alchemist from the beginning and start their journey in the Elbeland region. Wielding a Wand and Elixir, the Alchemist excels in both offense and support, combining high magical damage with strong defenses. The new class also uniquely possesses a skill that summons additional monsters, boosting hunting efficiency for the entire party.
Alchemist Exclusive Skills
- Angel Homunculus: Unleashes alchemist power to create 2 Homunculus dealing AOE damage
- Ignition Bomber: Converts rocks into bombs dealing AOE damage
- Countless Weapon: Converts air into countless weapon dealing AOE damage
- Confusion Stone: Summons field monsters from the confusion stone for a certain amount of time
To help players quickly master the all-new Alchemist class, MU Online has launched an exciting Speed Server packed with exclusive events and rewarding benefits, starting today.
Level-Up Rewards and Free Server Transfer
On the Speed Server, players will earn 100 Ruud for every level-up from Level 401 to 800, totaling up to 40,000 Ruud. Each account also receives one Free Server Transfer Ticket, allowing seamless migration from the Speed Server to any original server.
Players who meet mission milestones on the Speed Server and transfer to an original server will unlock Level Up Rewards like the Talisman of Ascension, the +11 Bloodangel Armor Set, Ruud and a massive amount of ZEN. Those reaching LV800 before transfer will be rewarded with a special bundle that includes +13[Bound] 3rd Wings, Bloodangel Soul, Darkangel Soul, 350,000 Ruud and many other valuable items.
Furthermore, players who achieve Level 500, 650, or 750 on the Speed Server and transfer will be granted additional Special Extra Perks such as the Vault Expansion Certificate, Skeleton Ring (14 Days), and Guardian Elf Muun (30 Days).
Speed Server Events and Special Offers
During the first weekend in August, the Playtime Attack event will reward dedicated players with extra prizes, celebrating their commitment to the game.
Additionally, a Level Up Ranking Event will be held on the Speed Server, where players will be ranked based on how quickly they reach the highest level during the event period. Top-ranking players will receive special rewards like Ruud and Bloodangel Soul.

WEBZEN Unveils Logo for 'MU Pocket Knights'

WEBZEN, a global game publisher has revealed the official game logo for its upcoming idle RPG MU: Pocket Knights, signalling the start of its launch preparations.
MU: Pocket Knights is an idle RPG currently in development by DAWNLIKE and is based on WEBZEN’s long-running MU IP. WEBZEN is set to publish the game globally in the second half of 2025.
Since its debut in 2001, the MU series has continuously expanded through multiple titles and spin-offs, steadily building its reputation as a globally recognized IP. With MU: Pocket Knights, the franchise takes another step forward?this time into the idle RPG genre.
The game combines the fast, low-effort leveling of idle games with the depth of content and character-building of traditional MMORPGs. MU: Pocket Knights introduces a fresh take on the MU universe.
With a brand-new cast of cute, pocket-sized characters, rather than the classic MU characters, the game offers an easy and enjoyable game experience for players of all backgrounds. While the characters are different, the newly revealed game logo maintains a proud link to the original MU series through its iconic wing design.

PC Golf MMO ‘SHOT ONLINE’ Kicks off Second Major Update of 2025

WEBZEN, the publisher behind the popular online free-to-play gaming portal GamesCampus, has announced that the classic online golf game ‘SHOT ONLINE’ has released its second major update of the year today.
Following last month’s introduction of the Club Recycling and Gaia’s Blessing systems, SHOT ONLINE now welcomes the arrival of a brand-new Pet System. This feature introduces loyal companions - Gray Wolf, Brown Wolf, and White Wolf - that will be accompanying players during their rounds.
As players complete more holes with their pets, the Pet Gauge builds up, unlocking additional EXP bonuses. Players can also enjoy even more benefits when playing with pets in Speed Matching during EXP Frenzy.
In addition to the new Pet system, the Square, a central social hub in SHOT ONLINE, has undergone a major renewal. The area has been expanded and now includes a new Dance Stage where players can show off their moves and earn rewards. Along with the revamped Square, more Locker Rooms have been added for convenience, and the Golf Carts have also returned, making it easier to travel around the expansive landscape.
In addition, the Passed Out Mosquito Holecount and Item Recipe events begin today. Players who achieve a Birdie or better on any course will receive a Passed Out Mosquito, which can be used as a key material to craft exclusive event items.
Several other time-limited events are also underway in SHOT ONLINE, including the Nearest Mini Game, Summer Mission, and Cumulative Attendance Event. All players are invited to participate and gain handsome rewards like Valhalla Courage Token Exchange Ticket, Superior Courage Token Exchange Ticket.
