WEBZEN today announced the official commercial release of its mobile 8ball game POOL TIME, marking the end of the Soft-launching phase.
POOL TIME is a new mobile billiard game which offers players the most realistic mobile 8ball game with a simple and easy interface. Players can perform curve shots and jump shots to seize victory, experience realistic billiard physics, and play real-time matches with other users all over the world.
Starting from today, players will get the opportunity to experience realistic full 3D 8ball. POOL TIME is available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese, and the game is now available to download for free in the App Store and Google Play, excluding Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, India, Myanmar, Sudan, Iran, and Cuba.
With the official commercial release, a content update has been deployed. This new update brings new features including Run-out Mode, Trick Shot Mode, Boost Up, new missions and Offer Wall.
Run-out Mode is a tournament to compete pots-in-a-row up to 10 times against other players. The total prize money will increase when the number of participants increases. Top 50% of participants will receive prize money that exceeds the entry fee. The more players, the more prize money.
In the Trick Shot Mode, players can not only place, edit and try their own trick shot but also save and share the replay video of their successful shot.
A boost up chance shows up randomly when players finish their match and get back to the lobby. They can get boost ups with a small fee, or by watching a video ad to help winning the next match.
With the update, players can also level up and unlock new missions, and get free Rubies by clearing missions on the Offer Wall.
The POOL TIME team is running a beginner’s campaign, so all players can get the free equipment ‘Pooltime Set’ by finishing 1 on 1 matches. Once they play 1 on1 matches 10 times, they will get the full Pool Time set.
Additionally, all the participants who answered the previous survey during the Closed Beta Test will finally receive a coupon for their exclusive Leopard Cue in the game.
