MU Online Introduces New Hunting Ground ? Distorted Karutan

WEBZEN, a leading global developer and publisher of PC and mobile games is excited to announce the latest chapter in its iconic PC MMORPG, MU Online. The second phase of the MU Season 19 Part 2 Update introduces the highly anticipated new hunting ground, alongside several other exciting additions.
New Hunting Ground ? Distorted Karutan
Players will venture into the mysterious Distorted Karutan, a once-secluded land surrounded by mountains. Home to the dangerous Ashen Tower, Karutan was cut off from the outside world?until strangers arrived and, alongside the nomads, overthrew the monsters.
However, not long after, the magic circle of Kardamahal, which had kept powerful beasts sealed, shattered and unleashed chaos. The land warped, and powerful monsters emerged, now ruling Distorted Karutan and attacking all who venture into the new, treacherous terrain.
To access this new hunting ground, players with character levels above 1,450 can enter through the Karutan 2 entrance (76,65) or use 50,000 Zen via the Travel Command Window for a quick transfer. Twisted monsters with powerful elemental attributes will appear and once defeated, they will drop valuable items including Excellent Lightning Armor and Excellent Socket Necklace.
7th Mastery Earring ? Foliage Earring
The Foliage Earring can be acquired by combining the 6th Mastery Earring, Unity Earring (Left or Right), with combination materials such as the Foliage Casting Mold that is available for purchase at the Ruud Shop. Players can equip the Left Earring at level 950 and the Right Earring at level 1,000. When both sides are equipped, the Earring Set Option is activated, granting an effect that ignores enemy defense while boosting stats and mastery damage.
Improvements to Ability Upgrade Core and Card Book UI Function
Alongside the new content, several improvements have been made to enhance player experience, including a more intuitive Ability Upgrade Core UI and a streamlined Ability Card Book UI, improving accessibility, navigation, and overall convenience. Furthermore, the Ability Skill Cards Conversion Combination has also been added. This new function will allow players to convert and combine skill cards for classes with distinct character development paths.
Maximum Level Expansion, Events and Special Offers
Continuing from last season, the maximum level has been further increased from 1,600 to 1,650. Players who reach level 1,600 before the next season begins will receive a gift box containing the Dark Lord Muun (Season Level Reward), which helps boost elemental defense and increases basic abilities by 20 times for 30 days.
To mark the latest installment, an exciting lineup of events and rewards are available until March 11:
- Elemental Symbols can be collected in Distorted Karutan and combined to create Superior Pentagrams and Mastery Parts, unlocking the Elemental Box Reward that contains valuable items such as the Talisman Element, Blessing of Light (Greater), and Bloodangel Soul
- During the event, the success rate for upgrading Mastery Accessories from +8 to +15 is increased by 20% and players will get a 30% EXP boost from monster hunting, and a 20% reduction in Monster HP
- As a bonus, players can mount or extract Seed Spheres for free until March 11
High-ranked players shouldn’t miss the opportunity to compete in the Lapidary Stone Ranking Event, where they can aim to secure a spot in the Top 10 across all servers, with the coveted Earring of Foliage as the ultimate reward.

MU Online Kicks Off the Year with Major Update: Dark Lord Renewal and events

WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of PC and mobile games, has rolled out the first major update of the year for its long-running classic PC MMORPG, MU Online, highlighting the renewal of the Dark Lord class.
Dark Lord is a powerful class that is unlocked at level 250, and as the only character with the unique Command stat, he is a terrifying force capable of dominating the battlefield with his summoned creatures and immense power. With the Season 19 Part 2 1st Update, the Dark Lord class has been further enhanced with new Ruud skills, Mastery Lord Shields and upgraded Pets, making him an even more formidable presence on the battlefield.

To give players a head start in mastering the transformed Dark Lord, the MU Online team has launched a Speed Server, packed with exciting events and benefits, starting from today.
Speed Server Level-up Bonuses and Free Server Transfer Ticket
All players on the Speed Server will receive 100 Ruud for every level-up from LV401 to LV800, totaling up to 40,000 Ruud available for grabs. Each account will also be granted a one-time
Free Server Transfer Ticket to move from the Speed Server to any original server.
Upon transferring, players who reach the mission levels on the Speed Server will be eligible for exclusive rewards, such as the Talisman of Ascension, the +11 Bloodangel Armor Set, and 100M Zens. Players who reach LV800 before transferring will also receive a special set of rewards, including +13[Bound] 3rd Wings, Bloodangel Soul, Darkangel Soul, 350,000 Ruud, and many more.
Additionally, special perks, such as the Vault Expansion Certificate, Skeleton Ring (14 Days), and Guardian Elf Muun (30 Days), will also be given to players who reach LV500, LV650, or LV750 on the Speed Server and transfer to the original server.

PC Golf MMO ‘SHOT ONLINE’ Celebrates Christmas with Christmas Bingo Event

WEBZEN, publisher of the renowned online free-to-play gaming portal GamesCampus, is pleased to announce the launch of a festive Christmas Bingo Event in its classic online golf game ‘SHOT ONLINE’ to celebrate the holiday season. Alongside this special main event, a variety of Christmas-themed events and exclusive rewards are now available for players.
From today until January 12, 2025, players can join the 5x5 Christmas Bingo and complete each square by finishing the corresponding in-game mission. Once players achieve each horizontal or vertical bingo, exclusive Christmas items such as the Smart Ball Marker AA 10, Purple Christmas Tree Tee 10, and X-MAS Drink 60% 10 will be given as rewards. PC Golf MMO ‘SHOT ONLINE’ 2nd Major Update of 2024

WEBZEN, publisher of the online free-to-play game portal GamesCampus has unveiled the second major update of the year for its classic online golf game ‘SHOT ONLINE’, bringing a brand-new course, refreshed features, and exciting giveaways for players.
Following the positive reception of the first major update in May, which introduced new gameplay enhancements and engaging content, this latest update continues to build on that momentum, offering even more for the community to enjoy.
The main highlight is the addition of the new golf course, Totem Hill. Featuring an eastern-inspired aesthetic, this newly designed course showcases traditional Korean cloud-patterned bunkers, providing players with a visually enriching and immersive experience throughout the course.
To celebrate, from today until December 22, SHOT ONLINE is offering complimentary Silla Costume and rewarding a 20% EXP Bonus to all players who play on Relay Mode during Monday-Thursday at the Totem Hill course. During the event period, the Totem Figure will also be temporarily added to the original Lucky Box. Players can collect the figures and use them to craft items like the Totem Selection Box, Smart Ball Marker AA Exchange Ticket (3 days), and Club Reinforcement Ticket - Group 2, according to the Item Recipe until December 26.
Next up is the renewal of the original Honor Training Room, which has now been revamped into Arthur’s Training, featuring a new incentive system and an exclusive inventory. During the event period in Arthur’s Training, players can earn incentive points, which can then be collected and redeemed for rewards such as Platinum Tee 10, Smart Ball Marker AA 10, [Sealed] Advanced Insignia, Special Enhancement Stone Box, and the Valhalla Courage Token Exchange Ticket [2H].
Additionally, a new Relay Mode Match has been introduced. In this mode, players are randomly assigned or can opt for pre-configured teams to compete for the grand prize, the Valhalla Courage Token Exchange Ticket [2H].
The team is also excited to announce a special SHOT ONLINE community event. 1,000 CC will be randomly awarded to 5 players who share a screenshot of their character wearing the new Silla costume at the Totem Hill course. In addition, all participants will receive a One Point Lesson Ticket 500 as a reward.
Lastly, players can take advantage of the temporary Locker Extension Improvement and earn daily rewards through the Cumulative Attendance event that includes items such as the Superior Courage Token Exchange Ticket, Totem Box, and Grace Vela VIP Card - 3 Days [50%].

PC Golf MMO ‘SHOT ONLINE’ unveils Mega Speed Jumping and Halloween Event

WEBZEN, publisher of the online free-to-play game portal GamesCampus has announced the launch of the thrilling Mega Speed Jumping event and special Halloween Roulette in its classic online golf game ‘SHOT ONLINE,’ along with a range of exciting events that will carry on until 26 November before the next maintenance.
The Shot Online team has prepared a spectacular Mega Speed Jumping Event, offering players a unique opportunity to boost their characters additionally by up to 50 levels. All players are invited to participate by visiting NPC Ceridwen at Valhalla School to obtain the first Mega Speed Ticket.
