MU Online adds a new map, Ignis Volcano with the second phase of Season18 Part 1

WEBZEN announced today that its classic PC MMORPG MU Online kicked off the second phase of Season 18 Part 1 Update Events.
Following Season 18 Part 1 in July, the latest update introduces a brand-new map called Ignis Volcano, along with a second phase of limited-time events that will offer various in-game rewards.
The Ignis Volcano is a new field where monsters covered with the magma of underground Vulcanus appear. Unlocked after reaching Level 1,220, this new field will give players a chance to dominate the heat of the Ignis Volcano.
Starting from August 8 until September 29, the new map will allow players to collect Elemental Symbols such as Fire and Darkness Symbols from the elemental monsters in the Ignis volcano. Combing them with the help of NPC Lahap will allow players to acquire the Elemental Box containing rare items such as Mastery Pentagram and other exclusive items.
Along with a level cap increase to Lv. 1,450, a 30% EXP Boost Event will be running until maintenance on September 29. During the event period, monsters’ HP will also be decreased by 20% for full time.
If players reach level 1,450, they will also get a Limited-Edition Illusion Knight: Jacquard Muun Reward through the Gremory case in the Season Level Reward Box.
Moreover, players who create a new Illusion Knight: Jacquard character will get Talisman of AscensionⅠ(3 Days), and the Bloodangel weapon or armor will n0ot disappear after Mastery Equipment Enchantment fails until +11 before maintenance on September 29.
On top of that, there will be a Fruit Decrease Stat Reset Event and Seed Sphere Free Cost Event for players to take part in, offering them the chance to earn various rewards.
Coming with the second phase of Season 18 Part 1 Update Events, the MU Expedition Event will offer players who have missed the Speed Server a second golden chance to create the new Illusion Knight: Jacquard with an exclusive support in the original server.
In the official website, various Bullet Roulette Events are now live. Players can use their Goblin Points to get 5 Dimensional Keys and play the Dimensional Roulette for 1 minute to earn various rewards such as new mastery armor and other exclusive items.
Additionally, weekly top 200 roulette point rankers will get special prizes such as +0 Blessed Divine Archangel Weapon, +0 Brilliant Armor (+15 Stat +Luck), 200,000 Ruud, Talisman of Ascension II (14Days) and the newly added Apocalypse Armor Set. Especially, the top ranker who earns the most Ranking Points for each week will receive additional rare set items, such as +0 4th Wing + Luck +2 Option [Level 3].

MU Archangel’s version 1.19 update introduces the new Fae content

WEBZEN has announced that its mobile MMORPG, MU Archangel, receives its latest 1.19 update today.
The 1.19 patch allows players to get their hands on a new Fae content, bountiful growth systems, and so much more.
The new Fae content will be unlocked once players reach level 600 (Master level 200) and open the Corps feature. There are four elements - Earth, Water, Fire, and Wind, and players can find the Fae within the [Mythical Beast] > [Fae] menu.
When players allow their Fae to join in a PK (Player Killing) battle, they will receive a Spirit Barrier effect that can be applied to PK battles and activate the Type Option Master which contains powerful options based on the star rating of each type's Fae in their main roster.
Players can also level up, promote, and transcend their Fae to increase its tier and obtain various option effects. Plus, players can even activate the new Fae Codex to grant them powerful options.
Fae Rune is another way to make their Fae even stronger and it can be equipped in each of the four corresponding slots. Players can acquire their Fae Rune through Corps BOSS content or other events.
In addition to Fae Rune, upgrading their Fae to a higher star rank will increase its star rating and unlock its special skills, and the higher the star rank, the stronger the special skills unlocked.
With this update, the new Costume Codex system where players can organize a collection of costumes and acquire additional Codex options has been also added to the game.
Furthermore, the new Relic Combination system, increased Max levels and tiers of each content, new items, several tweaks, optimizations, and bug fixes are now available in MU Archangel.
Meanwhile, MU Archangel is running an in-game event to get 50% Exp buff in Land of Demons, and a special weekly package will be on sale over the weekend.
MU Archangel’s global version is currently available to download on the Google Play Store and App Store in Southeast Asian countries only, in English, Thai, and Chinese.

ToyTopia: Match3 releases soft launch for Android in the United States, Europe a

WEBZEN announced today its upcoming mobile puzzle game, ToyTopia: Match3, is available now for Android in select regions.
Developed by WEBZEN Cube Inc., WEBZEN’s subsidiary, ToyTopia: Match3 is a match-three puzzle game for Android and iOS, which uses a fun toy-building mechanic. With ToyTopia, WEBZEN is diversifying into other genres and seeking to add casual gamers to its global community of players.
ToyTopia: Match3 is not just any match-three puzzle. Players can indulge in multiple levels of strategic puzzling while outwitting the bad guys, while enjoying plenty of villain gimmicks across an exciting toy world.
In addition to the match-3 puzzle gameplay, players will be able to build and customize their own town by arranging decorations and toy-themed characters. They will also spend their time collecting Stars by completing puzzles, using these stars to obtain toy-themed characters from the Dreamcatcher Machine, and placing these characters in buildings to earn Coins.

MU Online Unveils New Illusion Knight Character and Speed Server in Season 18 Pa

WEBZEN announced today that its classic PC MMORPG MU Online has received the Season 18 Part 1 Update.
Season 18 Part 1 adds Illusion Knight: Jacquard, a knight who wields the power of illusion, to the Speed Server. The Illusion Knight summons an Illusion Blade in his left hand to use Skills through various forms of Sword Energy. With a high ATK, players can enhance Skill ATK and ATK through the Dexterity Stat.
The Season 18 Part 1 includes the opening of four Speed Servers, which were created to help players level up their characters faster and become stronger. Along with the new Speed Server, there are also a lot of events underway.
Starting from now until August 8, +13[Bound] 3rd Wings and 350,000 Ruud will be unlocked upon reaching level 800. Not only does the server helps characters grow faster, every time their master level character levels up to Lv. 500, 600, 700, and 800, they can earn 10,000 Ruud for every 100 level-up, with a maximum of 40,000 Ruud.
From July 13 until July 17, players will be able to get free items such as Talisman of Ascension2 and Bless of Light (Greater) for a limited time in the Speed Server In-game shop.
Moreover, players will receive Tibetton Muun and Bless of Light (Greater) just by playing the game for 40 hours from July 21 through to July 23.
Additionally, a level-up ranking event and a first purchase event await all MU Online players all over the world, and a limited-time offer also includes a special deal for the Speed-up package.
Players will be able to transfer their character from the Speed Server into the original servers for free as well. During the transfer, WEBZEN will be offering special level up rewards such as 350,000 Ruud, 3rd Wings, Bloodangel armor set, Darkangel Soul, and much more based on character level.
Players will also be able to claim special extra perks including Guardian Elf Muun, Gold Channel Ticket, Skeleton Ring, and more if they complete a mission after the transfer.

WEBZEN announced today its upcoming mobile puzzle game, ToyTopia: Match3 (hereinafter referred to as ToyTopia).
Today WEBZEN revealed the official logo and details, along with the official Facebook page for the brand-new game.
ToyTopia is a match-three puzzle game under development by WEBZEN Cube Inc., WEBZEN’s subsidiary consisting of core developers who worked on various successful puzzle games and casual games.
Match-3 puzzle is and has always been one of the top genres in mobile gaming ? especially in western markets. As part of the strategy to diversify its game genre portfolio, WEBZEN has teamed up with WEBZEN Cube to offer a casual game intended for players of all ages, alongside the studio’s titles such as ‘MU’, ‘R2’, ‘Metin’ and ‘Shot online’.
Based on matching three or more blocks in a row against various villain gimmicks, ToyTopia will allow players to experience a whole new match-3 puzzle world and build their own toy world with toy-themed characters and buildings.
The game also features a fun factor in which players can collect Stars by clearing puzzles and make various toy characters through the Dreamcatcher Machine. Players can select and place their toy characters in accordance with the toy-themed buildings to get Coins.
