ToyTopia: Match3’s brand-new event map ‘Treasure Island’ is now live

WEBZEN has announced the long-awaited content update for ToyTopia: Match3, its match-3 puzzle game on mobile.
Following the soft launch on Android in July, ToyTopia: Match3’s latest update brings new features such as a brand-new event map - Treasure Island, limited-time rewards, as well as several tweaks to in-game tutorials and stages.
Treasure Island is a limited-time event content which players can explore with their pirate captain, Captain Silver. There are 15 maps in Treasure Island, and players will be able to acquire Gems from the treasure chest and even a rare character summoning stone after completing all the maps.
Treasure Island is now live in the game, and limited-time rewards will be available only from October 13th to October 15th. Another round of the Treasure Island will be coming around regularly with new maps and rewards.
This new update also includes several tweaks to in-game tutorials and stages, bug fixes, and daily login rewards.
ToyTopia: Match3 is a match-3 puzzle game that will task players with matching 3 or more blocks to battle against villain gimmicks across a vibrant toy world. The game will also offer players a toy-themed puzzle experience as they craft various characters with the Dreamcatcher Machine and decorate their own Town.
ToyTopia: Match3 is available to download on the Google Play Store in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, the Philippines, Thailand, and other select countries. The iOS version of the game will be coming soon.

MU Archangel brings new Gate of Divine Realm content in latest update

WEBZEN has announced that its mobile MMORPG, MU Archangel, receives its latest 1.20 update today.
The latest patch includes the new Gate of Divine Realm, Bracelet, Equipment Unseals, Devil Raids and much more.
The Gate of Divine Realm will be available for players with Angel XXIV Tier 45 characters after they have cleared the Ordeal of the Celestials quest and dungeon. Players can check out the new Celestial Continent, Celestial Equipment, and stronger Bosses and take advantage of the increased level cap and additional Boss Monsters.
Along with the Gate of Divine Realm, the new dungeon called Ordeal of Divine Realm and new regions - Celestial Continent, Darkness Territory, and Hellfire will be unlocked.
The Ordeal Dungeons are divided into Silver dungeons and Gold dungeons, and players will be able to enter each corresponding dungeon depending on their character level only for 3 days. Players can earn materials for Potential Grant at the Ordeal Dungeon and receive rewards such as Resurrection Stone, and Jewel of Creation.
With the max level expansion to 2,480 and Celestials V Tier 60, new World BOSS, Solo BOSS, and Ancient Battlefield BOSS will be added to the game.
The Bracelet is a new type of accessory in MU Archangel, available to be equipped in the new Bracelet Slot after achieving Angel I. Players can upgrade and promote their Bracelet to receive Default Options and special Eternity Options. Players will also be able to use Bracelet Recast, Starlight Wishes, Starlight Awakenings, and Starlight Markings on their shiny new accessory to increase their options and exclusive skills.
After unlocking Angel III equipment, the new Equipment Unseals System will be available by using Seal Removing Stones to acquire Unseal Options and increase the Unseal Ratings of the equipment.
This new update also introduces the new Devil Raids, which pits players against powerful enemies that stand in the way of reaching the next stage. By entering the Devil Raids, players can acquire rewards by defeating ‘Kundun Ruler’ and challenge the next stage by getting a SSS Score Rating with more valuable rewards. Devil Raids are only available on Saturdays and Sundays.
MU Archangel’s global version is currently available to download on the Google Play Store and App Store in Southeast Asian countries only, in English, Thai, and Chinese.

MU Online’s latest update adds new Artifact Equipment

WEBZEN has announced the latest update patch for its long-running classic PC MMORPG, MU Online.
WEBZEN has released the third update of MU Season 18 Part 1 today, bringing in new features, tweaks, and events.
The latest update introduces the new Artifact Equipment into the game. Earned through the New Baruka Event, Artifacts can be equipped on characters to provide them with power mightier than anything ever seen before. Players can also collect the scattered fragments and combine the hexagon artifact fragments to obtain various and rare options as well as up to a 100 Stats increase.
The update also adds a new event zone, Group Boss Battle Event, allowing players to team up with up to 40 characters to hunt down terrifying boss monsters for a variety of rewards such as Jewel of Harmony Box and Group Boss Battle Bonus Box.
There will be tweaks in the Fortress of the Imperial Guardian: Baruka Event Map, including a new entry level (Level 1,000 or higher) and changes in event map progress and rewards. Players will be able to earn the new artifact rewards and fragments only through the renewed Fortress of the Imperial Guardian: Baruka Event.
In addition to these new features, the MU Online team is running the third round of Season 18 Part 1 Update Celebration Events along with new bonus rewards.
Starting today until before the maintenance on September 19, the drop rate of special items only available in the Elite Zone of Ignis Volcano will be doubled, and Monster HP in the Ignis Volcano will be decreased by 20% and MIN/MAX Elemental Attack will be decreased by 20%.
Maze of Dimensions rewards also will be doubled, and Maze of Dimensions monsters hunting EXP will be increased by 30%.
During the event period, +8~+15 accessory upgrade success rate will be increased by 20%.
Players also can collect Gemstones dropped from monsters and refine them into Jewel of Harmony via NPC Eplis.
At the event page of the official website, there will be the Update Point Shopping Event, giving players a new mission to collect Update Points by logging in to the game for 1 hour to exchange them for Bless of Light (Greater), Wing of Angel and Devil, Talisman of Ascension II, Gold Channel Ticket and more.
Additionally, the Lapidary Stone Ranking Event will offer players a chance to earn Ranking Points by opening the Lapidary Stone Box, and players ranked in the Top 200 Ranking Point will get special prizes such as +0 Earring of Allurement(+3Option), +0 Earring of Allurement(+2Option), +0 Earring of Blood(+3Option) and Lapidary Stone.
This update also includes more Season 18 Update Celebration Sales for Artifact Package, Lapidary Stone Box, Premium Package and Pink Scroll Package.

Shot Online celebrates US Server’s 18th anniversary with Birdie Race Event

WEBZEN has announced that its classic online golf game ‘Shot Online’ kicked off the celebration event for the 18th anniversary of its US Server.
Developed by WEBZEN ONNET, Shot Online is a massively multiplayer online golf game which has been running for 18 years in the United States. The game is free to download and play on PC at GamesCampus. Featuring realistic golf physics, the game allows players to create golfers, train them and compete with them in tournaments and official events against other players with MMORPG elements.
Starting today, WEBZEN will be running several themed activities to celebrate the US Server’s 18th anniversary with the Shot Online community, including Birdie Race Event, Caddy Event, weekend giveaway and more.
From today until September 19, the Shot Online team will be monitoring the numbers of birdies scored by players. When certain milestones are reached, all players will unlock the associated bonus rewards such as Mini Game, Anniversary Box A/B/C, and +20% bonus EXP.
When players achieve their final goal of 1,250,000 birdies during the event period, all players will receive the Anniversary Selection Box, in which players can choose from Legend Change Hammer, Clothes Enhancing Fabric Pouch +500, Legend Change Ember, Promotion-Cloth Pouch +500, and Blessed Legend Craft Hammer.
From August 24 until September 18, WEBZEN will be hosting a Cumulative Attendance Event where players can check-in continuously and get various daily rewards, including G.H.P Coupon 20, Platinum Tee 10, Co Player Energy 25% 2H, and much more.
Players will also get a permanent Anniversary costume on this coming weekend.
On top of that, more in-game events including Caddie EXP Event, EXP Burning Event, NG Rain Event, and Beat the SOMs Event are scheduled for September.

MU Online adds a new map, Ignis Volcano with the second phase of Season18 Part 1

WEBZEN announced today that its classic PC MMORPG MU Online kicked off the second phase of Season 18 Part 1 Update Events.
Following Season 18 Part 1 in July, the latest update introduces a brand-new map called Ignis Volcano, along with a second phase of limited-time events that will offer various in-game rewards.
The Ignis Volcano is a new field where monsters covered with the magma of underground Vulcanus appear. Unlocked after reaching Level 1,220, this new field will give players a chance to dominate the heat of the Ignis Volcano.
Starting from August 8 until September 29, the new map will allow players to collect Elemental Symbols such as Fire and Darkness Symbols from the elemental monsters in the Ignis volcano. Combing them with the help of NPC Lahap will allow players to acquire the Elemental Box containing rare items such as Mastery Pentagram and other exclusive items.
Along with a level cap increase to Lv. 1,450, a 30% EXP Boost Event will be running until maintenance on September 29. During the event period, monsters’ HP will also be decreased by 20% for full time.
If players reach level 1,450, they will also get a Limited-Edition Illusion Knight: Jacquard Muun Reward through the Gremory case in the Season Level Reward Box.
Moreover, players who create a new Illusion Knight: Jacquard character will get Talisman of AscensionⅠ(3 Days), and the Bloodangel weapon or armor will n0ot disappear after Mastery Equipment Enchantment fails until +11 before maintenance on September 29.
On top of that, there will be a Fruit Decrease Stat Reset Event and Seed Sphere Free Cost Event for players to take part in, offering them the chance to earn various rewards.
Coming with the second phase of Season 18 Part 1 Update Events, the MU Expedition Event will offer players who have missed the Speed Server a second golden chance to create the new Illusion Knight: Jacquard with an exclusive support in the original server.
In the official website, various Bullet Roulette Events are now live. Players can use their Goblin Points to get 5 Dimensional Keys and play the Dimensional Roulette for 1 minute to earn various rewards such as new mastery armor and other exclusive items.
Additionally, weekly top 200 roulette point rankers will get special prizes such as +0 Blessed Divine Archangel Weapon, +0 Brilliant Armor (+15 Stat +Luck), 200,000 Ruud, Talisman of Ascension II (14Days) and the newly added Apocalypse Armor Set. Especially, the top ranker who earns the most Ranking Points for each week will receive additional rare set items, such as +0 4th Wing + Luck +2 Option [Level 3].
