REMORE: INFESTED KINGDOM is Now Live on Kickstarter

WEBZEN has announced that its upcoming turn-based tactical RPG, REMORE: INFESTED KINGDOM is live on Kickstarter today.
REMORE: INFESTED KINGDOM is an upcoming Indie RPG, developed by Black Anchor, a Korean Indie game studio, and will be released for early access later this year. The game will be available on Steam for Windows PC globally.
The game is set up so players will immerse themselves into a medieval apocalyptic infestation as they play as a survivor struggling to stay alive. They will be met with challenges, including lacking essential supplies, whilst controlling the battle tactically against the Infested, dangerous creatures that roam the land slaughtering all in their path.
Along with this crowdfunding campaign, the base-level $10 pledge will earn backers the Steam PC digital copy of REMORE: INFESTED KINGDOM.
In development for PC via Steam, limited access to Development Polls and First Survivor Demo will be allowed to any backer that spends $30 or more.
The next tier is at $50, which gets their name listed under a “special thanks” credit and access to a Private Discord Channel.
At $80, backers will receive rewards for their support including Digital Wallpaper, Digital Original Soundtrack and Digital Map. Increasing that pledge to $100 will add Digital Artbook to the rewards.
Also, backers will have a direct influence by naming a Random NPC in the game with a $200 pledge, and the highest pledge, $300, grants backers a random location on the map, which will be named from backer suggestions.
After reaching its initial funding goal, the Kickstarter campaign will be running through a long list of stretch goals, such as additional camp activity, a variety of new game features, additional character perks, Narrator and Character Voiceover, and Promised DLC: Another Story-pack with new characters and a whole new storyline, with more on the way. WEBZEN has partnered with an Indie game studio to bring their first Indie game, REMORE: INFESTED KINGDOM, to the global gamers.
REMORE: INFESTED KINGDOM published by Webzen and developed by Black Anchor, a Korean Indie game studio, is a challenging turn-based tactical RPG that transports gamers into a medieval apocalyptic infestation.
To survive in this apocalyptic hellscape, players must explore desolate locations and gather supplies needed for survival while avoiding the “Infested”, creatures who roam the land slaughtering them all. The gameplay is focused on exploring the darkness, avoiding enemies’ sight and noise detection to keep from being swarmed, then carefully triggering battle at the right moment and striking back using various historical weapons.
To unveil a first look at the title, Webzen has rolled out the Steam Store page for REMORE: INFESTED KINGDOM ahead of the game’s Early Access, which is slated for later this year. The game will be available on Steam for Windows PC around the globe.

MU Online gets tweaks to the Elf Class, new contents, and in-game events in late

WEBZEN announced that its classic PC MMORPG MU Online received the latest update patch on Season 17 Part 2.
Following the Season 17 Part 2 Update on January 31, this new patch brings Elf Class Renewal, Elite Zone of Kanturu Underground, 4th Guardian ‘Shining Tail’ with a ton of new in-game events.
The renewal of the most loved ‘Elf’ class brings faster attacks and stronger skills for the aggressive type and new exclusive shields and buff skills for the support type.
To celebrate this Elf Class renewal, WEBZEN is running various in-game events. First, all stats/3rd skill tree/4th skill tree will be reset only for Elf classes.
Starting today until March 13, 24:00(UTC), Elf classes will receive playtime rewards such as Seal of Ascension2(14Days), +11 Bloodangel Mastery Armors(7Days)X2, +11 Bloodangel Mastery Weapon(7Days)X2 depending on MU helper hunting time.
Players who have an Elf character and then purchase a product listed on Special Sales every week will receive bonus rewards including Gold Channel Ticket, Bless of Light, Scroll Package, and Master Seal of Wealth.
When creating a new Elf class character during the event period, Pentagram Box to acquire Talisman of Ascension 2 (3 days) will be delivered to the player’s inventory in the game.
This new update also adds the 4th Guardian ‘Shining Tail’ to the game and unlocks the Elite Zone of Kanturu Underground, which is an enormous hidden underground that can be entered from character level 1,190.
Starting today until the maintenance on March 14, the special reward in-game items which can be acquired in the Elite Zone of Kanturu Underground, such as such as Elite Change Option Pieces, Sealed Armor Fragments, Golden Crest, and Elite Guardian Upgrade Stone have doubled their drop rates. Monsters also have 20% reduced HP, and 20% reduced Min/Max Elemental Attack.
In addition, Guardian Upgrade Stones which can be acquired from NPC Moss, Chaos Castle/Blood Castle/Devil Square rewards, and Monster Soul Converter Rewards have doubled drop rate in the game.
Also, Bloodangel weapon/armor does not disappear after the enchantment fails until +11, and players will be able to mount or extract Seed Sphere items for free without using Jewels.
On top of that, Jewel of Harmony Refinement Event and Fruit Decrease Stat Reset Event will await all the MU Online players all over the world.
Lastly, Dimensional Roulette Event and Roulette Point Ranking Event are now live. Players need to use their Goblin Points and get 5 Dimensional Keys to play the Dimensional Roulette for 1 minute to earn a newly added prize, +7 Earring of Blood(Left) +3 Option.
Special prizes, such as +0 Blessed Divine Archangel Weapon, +0 Brilliant Armor(+15 Stat +Luck), Ruud, Talisman of Ascension and more will be awarded to Top 200 Roulette Point rankers.

MU Archangel adds a new Wing Soul system in the latest update

WEBZEN announced that its mobile MMORPG, MU Archangel received the latest 1.16 update patch on February 16th.
The latest update introduces a new Wing Soul system where players can upgrade and infuse a Wing Soul into their wings. Wings Souls are accessories that can be equipped to provide additional stat bonuses and change the appearance of the wings.
Wing Soul content allows players to experience the full power of the Wing Soul in their wings, along with their character. Wing Soul content opens after reaching Master Lv. 350, and players can even upgrade, infuse, and awaken their Wings Soul to increase the power gained from the Option Effects.
Wing Soul Upgrade requires Flame items such as Faint White Flame, which can be obtained through Daily Packages, and it grants players exclusive Wing Soul options.
Wing Soul Infusion will allow players to infuse Breath of Phoenix into their Wing Soul and earn a large amount of Soul Infusion options. All tiers and grades of Wing Soul can be infused and each Tier of Wing Soul can be infused up to a 10-Star Rating.
In addition to the upgrade and infusion, players who reach Master Lv. 350 can awaken the Wing and get outstanding Awakening options as well as Awakening Property Skills which are specialized for PVP battles.
MU Archangel’s global version is currently available to download on the Google Play Store and App Store in Southeast Asian countries only, in English, Thai, and Chinese.
In the official Facebook community, fans of MU Archangel can join the Valentine’s Day event and win rewards such as EXP Potion, Spirituality of Criticality Promotion Scroll, and Jewel of Evolution until February 19th.

Shot Online reveals details of February event line-up

WEBZEN, publisher of the online free-to-play game portal GamesCampus, has announced that the 18-year-old golf MMO Shot Online has kicked off a special February Event.
Shot Online is a massively multiplayer online golf game that has been enjoyed by many online golfers all over the world for 18 years. Following up on countless content updates and events for many years, Shot Online now invites players to various in-game events that will make February their busiest month.
Starting today until February 16, the Shot Online team is running a special Valentine’s Event to show appreciation to all Shot Online golfers.
First, a Mission Event allows 4 players to play a round in pairs to earn Valentine Event Boxes containing various Valentine-themed EXP items - Chocolate Wine as Ambrosia, Chocolate Bars as Swing Trainers and more.
All players can also participate in the Caddy Event and gift extra EXP to their Caddy to convey their admiration this Valentine’s Day.
On this coming weekend, players will enjoy +10% EXP for EXP Special Happy Courses, on top of the Happy Course bonuses. To celebrate Valentine’s Day even more, the EXP increase will reach +15% EXP on Valentine’s Day.
During the event period, the SOM Challenge will be available for players, where they can beat the Shot Online Moderators (SOM) in 1 vs 1 rounds to get SOM Event Box rewards containing random EXP items.
