MU Archangel adds a new Wing Soul system in the latest update

WEBZEN announced that its mobile MMORPG, MU Archangel received the latest 1.16 update patch on February 16th.
The latest update introduces a new Wing Soul system where players can upgrade and infuse a Wing Soul into their wings. Wings Souls are accessories that can be equipped to provide additional stat bonuses and change the appearance of the wings.
Wing Soul content allows players to experience the full power of the Wing Soul in their wings, along with their character. Wing Soul content opens after reaching Master Lv. 350, and players can even upgrade, infuse, and awaken their Wings Soul to increase the power gained from the Option Effects.
Wing Soul Upgrade requires Flame items such as Faint White Flame, which can be obtained through Daily Packages, and it grants players exclusive Wing Soul options.
Wing Soul Infusion will allow players to infuse Breath of Phoenix into their Wing Soul and earn a large amount of Soul Infusion options. All tiers and grades of Wing Soul can be infused and each Tier of Wing Soul can be infused up to a 10-Star Rating.
In addition to the upgrade and infusion, players who reach Master Lv. 350 can awaken the Wing and get outstanding Awakening options as well as Awakening Property Skills which are specialized for PVP battles.
MU Archangel’s global version is currently available to download on the Google Play Store and App Store in Southeast Asian countries only, in English, Thai, and Chinese.
In the official Facebook community, fans of MU Archangel can join the Valentine’s Day event and win rewards such as EXP Potion, Spirituality of Criticality Promotion Scroll, and Jewel of Evolution until February 19th.

Shot Online reveals details of February event line-up

WEBZEN, publisher of the online free-to-play game portal GamesCampus, has announced that the 18-year-old golf MMO Shot Online has kicked off a special February Event.
Shot Online is a massively multiplayer online golf game that has been enjoyed by many online golfers all over the world for 18 years. Following up on countless content updates and events for many years, Shot Online now invites players to various in-game events that will make February their busiest month.
Starting today until February 16, the Shot Online team is running a special Valentine’s Event to show appreciation to all Shot Online golfers.
First, a Mission Event allows 4 players to play a round in pairs to earn Valentine Event Boxes containing various Valentine-themed EXP items - Chocolate Wine as Ambrosia, Chocolate Bars as Swing Trainers and more.
All players can also participate in the Caddy Event and gift extra EXP to their Caddy to convey their admiration this Valentine’s Day.
On this coming weekend, players will enjoy +10% EXP for EXP Special Happy Courses, on top of the Happy Course bonuses. To celebrate Valentine’s Day even more, the EXP increase will reach +15% EXP on Valentine’s Day.
During the event period, the SOM Challenge will be available for players, where they can beat the Shot Online Moderators (SOM) in 1 vs 1 rounds to get SOM Event Box rewards containing random EXP items.
After enjoying a week full of love with the Valentine’s Event, the Carnival Event will be beginning on February 17th, where players will have a chance to get Carnival Tickets from the Daily Hole Count Event. Carnival Tickets can be exchanged for Carnival-themed rewards such as Balloon Dogs as Mageia Plus and Teddy Bears as Brooches from specific NPCs in the Square. The carnival will last for a week, so enjoy a fun February with Shot Online.

MU Online Season 17 Part 2 Update is Now Live

WEBZEN has released its classic PC MMORPG MU Online’s Season 17 Part 2 Update.
Season 17 Part 2 is packed with new content including a new explorable area called ‘Kanturu Underground’, 5th Mastery Accessories ‘Earrings of Allurement’, a level-cap increase, various in-game events, and special sales.
The brand-new area, Kanturu Underground, is an enormous hidden underground which was discovered by Arca scholars who excavated ancient Kanturu artifacts, and it is a challenging area that can be entered from character level 1,190.
The Season 17 Part 2 Update also adds a new set option of 5th Mastery accessories called ‘Earrings of Allurement’ to the game, along with a level-cap increase to level 1,450.
To celebrate the launch of Season 17 Part 2, WEBZEN will be running various in-game events until February 21st.
First, the newly updated Kanturu Underground will allow players to collect Elemental Symbols (Fire/Water/Earth/Wind/Darkness) from the elemental monsters. After collecting them, players can go to the NPC Lahap to combine the Elemental Symbols to acquire the Elemental Box containing rare items such as Errtel Emblem, Elemental Rune, Excellent Socket Necklace, and much more.
With the level cap increase to Lv. 1,450, players who reach character level 1,400 will earn a limited-edition ‘Elemental Elf Muun’ as the Season Level Reward through the NPC Gremory Case. When Elemental Elf Muun is equipped, +10 Elemental DEF stats will be added, and 20 times base stats are applied for 30 days.
During the event period, +8 to +15 Mastery Accessory Upgrade Success Rate has been increased by 20%. MU Online will also offer players an extra 30% EXP and a reduction of 20% in Monster HP in the game.
In the game, players will be able to save their Update Points to exchange for amazing gifts including Gold Channel Ticket, Wings of Authority, Talisman of Ascension II, Master Seal of Ascension, and more.
Lastly, the Lapidary Stone Ranking Event is now live. Players will have a chance to obtain the 5th Mastery Accessories by earning Ranking Points, and Top 200 Ranking Point rankers will get special prizes such as +0 Earring of Allurement(+3Option), +0 Earring of Allurement(+2Option), +0 Earring of Blood(+3Option) and Lapidary Stone.
On top of that, Lapidary Stone Box Sales, Illuminating Earring Box Renewal, All-in-One Package, Scroll Package, Booster Box & BOL Sales will await all the MU Online players all over the world.
Meanwhile, WEBZEN plans to follow up Season 17 Part 2 with an additional content update including the Guardian ? Shining Tale, tweaks to the Fairy class, and much more in February.

MU Archangel receives Curse Infused Holy Armor Update

WEBZEN announced that its mobile MMORPG, MU Archangel received the latest 1.14 update patch on November 22nd.
The latest update introduces the new Holy Armor Curse Marking system to the game, adding a new Awakening Mount feature.
Holy Armor is a PVP content that allows players to get a strong defense boost in battle against other characters. To wield the forbidden power of the Holy Armor Curse Marking and reach a higher level, each Curse Marking slot - Earth/Moon/Sun/Sky will be unlocked as the Holy Armor is promoted in the corresponding C/B/A/S ranks, and the Curse's Core for each slot can be obtained by completing a Sub-quest for each rank. The Holy Armor Curse Marking is also divided into Magic/Epic/Unique/Legendary(T)/Transcendent grades.
Once players unlock the Curse Marking slot, they can increase their Default Option and obtain a special Curse Option through the Curse Forge content. They can also level up their Curse Forge using Curse's Core as a material and reach a certain Curse Forge level to unlock special Curse Options.
To drastically increase their Default Option and Curse Option, players can promote Curse Forge to a higher rank through Curse Infusion using Shaman's Heart as a material. They can also obtain a powerful Curse Skill once all Holy Armor Curse Markings have been promoted to Unique grade or higher.
Furthermore, a powerful Curse Resonance Effect will be activated once 2 or more Holy Armor Curse Markings have been promoted to Unique grade or higher.
This new update also includes a new Mount Awakening System through which players can experience a brand-new mount skin and acquire powerful a Property Skill along with Mount Awakening.
In addition to the new contents, login rewards, weekly EXP buff, Loren Festival, special daily package, weekly package, top-up bonus and a first purchase event will await SEA players.
MU Archangel’s global version is currently available to download on the Google Play Store and App Store in Southeast Asian countries only, in English, Thai and Chinese.

Awaken Legends: IDLE RPG is now available in Canada and the Philippines

WEBZEN has announced that its new mobile idle RPG "Awaken Legends: IDLE RPG" is now available in early access in select regions.
Awaken Legends is a new idle RPG that allows gamers to enjoy a turn-based battle style game with over 50 powerful unique heroes to collect, intense PvP battles to wage, boundless worlds to explore, thrilling RPG adventure, and the strongest AFK squad in the land.
Awaken Legends is now available to download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store in Canada and the Philippines.
To celebrate the launch in these two regions, WEBZEN is running various in-game events offering log-in rewards, daily quest rewards and more in-game items.
First, players will earn a variety of monthly log-in rewards, including Gems, Race Summoning Scrolls, Summoning Scrolls, and much more.
New players who log into the game for seven days will receive the Newbie Sign-In rewards, including Elite-Kalios hero, Gem, Race Summoning Scrolls and more.
If players also complete various daily quests, they will obtain unique rewards such as Elite-Evelynn Trafalgar hero depending on the difficulty level form Newbie Trial to Intermediate Trial.
