WEBZEN, a leading global developer and publisher of PC and mobile games is excited to announce the latest chapter in its iconic PC MMORPG, MU Online. The second phase of the MU Season 19 Part 2 Update introduces the highly anticipated new hunting ground, alongside several other exciting additions.
New Hunting Ground ? Distorted Karutan
Players will venture into the mysterious Distorted Karutan, a once-secluded land surrounded by mountains. Home to the dangerous Ashen Tower, Karutan was cut off from the outside world?until strangers arrived and, alongside the nomads, overthrew the monsters.
However, not long after, the magic circle of Kardamahal, which had kept powerful beasts sealed, shattered and unleashed chaos. The land warped, and powerful monsters emerged, now ruling Distorted Karutan and attacking all who venture into the new, treacherous terrain.
To access this new hunting ground, players with character levels above 1,450 can enter through the Karutan 2 entrance (76,65) or use 50,000 Zen via the Travel Command Window for a quick transfer. Twisted monsters with powerful elemental attributes will appear and once defeated, they will drop valuable items including Excellent Lightning Armor and Excellent Socket Necklace.
7th Mastery Earring ? Foliage Earring
The Foliage Earring can be acquired by combining the 6th Mastery Earring, Unity Earring (Left or Right), with combination materials such as the Foliage Casting Mold that is available for purchase at the Ruud Shop. Players can equip the Left Earring at level 950 and the Right Earring at level 1,000. When both sides are equipped, the Earring Set Option is activated, granting an effect that ignores enemy defense while boosting stats and mastery damage.
Improvements to Ability Upgrade Core and Card Book UI Function
Alongside the new content, several improvements have been made to enhance player experience, including a more intuitive Ability Upgrade Core UI and a streamlined Ability Card Book UI, improving accessibility, navigation, and overall convenience. Furthermore, the Ability Skill Cards Conversion Combination has also been added. This new function will allow players to convert and combine skill cards for classes with distinct character development paths.
Maximum Level Expansion, Events and Special Offers
Continuing from last season, the maximum level has been further increased from 1,600 to 1,650. Players who reach level 1,600 before the next season begins will receive a gift box containing the Dark Lord Muun (Season Level Reward), which helps boost elemental defense and increases basic abilities by 20 times for 30 days.
To mark the latest installment, an exciting lineup of events and rewards are available until March 11:
- Elemental Symbols can be collected in Distorted Karutan and combined to create Superior Pentagrams and Mastery Parts, unlocking the Elemental Box Reward that contains valuable items such as the Talisman Element, Blessing of Light (Greater), and Bloodangel Soul
- During the event, the success rate for upgrading Mastery Accessories from +8 to +15 is increased by 20% and players will get a 30% EXP boost from monster hunting, and a 20% reduction in Monster HP
- As a bonus, players can mount or extract Seed Spheres for free until March 11
