WEBZEN, the publisher behind the popular online free-to-play gaming portal GamesCampus, has announced that the classic online golf game ‘SHOT ONLINE’ has kicked off its major update today, along with an array of events that will continue until June 25.
At the heart of the update is the Club Recycling System, a new feature that allows players to convert unused golf clubs into valuable in-game rewards. Players can recycle up to five clubs at a time, and the total value of the selected clubs determines the reward level?ranging from Level 1 to Level 5. Higher levels offer better chances for more valuable rewards.
When participating in the Club Recycling System, players can choose to see a preview of five possible reward items. If three Gold-tiered items appear in the preview, the player will receive a guaranteed additional reward of Bonus Acquisition Ticket Pouch +1 x5. Furthermore, to celebrate the newly added system, all players who share a screenshot of their Club Recycling result on the Shot Online Community page will be given a One Point Lesson Ticket 500 as a special reward.
The second highlight is the addition of Gaia’s Blessing System, providing new ways for players to enhance their gameplay. By collecting Crystal Shards from the Holecount event, the Mission event, or the Club Recycling System, players can combine them to craft Gaia’s Silver Crystal or Gaia’s Golden Crystal. When one of these is equipped to Gaia’s Golden Cup, players will activate Gaia’s Blessing Buff?a buff that extends the effect of the same week’s World Ranking Tour Buff.
Additionally, the Special Happy Course (EXP) System has been improved. Players now have the freedom to select and play on any course of their choice while receiving EXP bonuses, offering more flexibility and variety in gameplay.
To commemorate the update, several limited-time events are also now live.
Players can complete various missions to earn additional Speed Points in the Extra Speed Points Event and use the earned points to purchase exclusive event items in the Speed Point Shop Event.
Furthermore, Cumulative Attendance Event will be taking place and provide handsome daily rewards, including highlighted items such as the Superior Courage Token Exchange Ticket and the Grace Vela VIP Card ? 3 Days [50%] for 21 days.
