WEBZEN has updated MU Online with the Season 21-1 2nd Update, adding a new hunting ground, a new tier of Legendary gear, and a new server. The update also introduces a series of server launch events and in-game celebrations available starting today.
Sanctuary of Aquilas: A New High-Level Hunting Ground
The update introduces the Sanctuary of Aquilas, a new hunting area designed for high-level adventurers. Accessible from the Kanturu Ruins, the zone is intended for characters Level 1,600 and above and features powerful new enemies. Players exploring the area can acquire various progression materials, including items used for the newly introduced Legendary gear.
Ancestral Imperial: The Second Legendary Gear Tier
Season 21-1's second update introduces Ancestral Imperial, the next stage of Legendary gear. The new weapon and armor sets can be obtained by upgrading existing Temple Guard sets, allowing players to continue advancing their characters through an additional Legendary tier. The update also adds new upgrade materials, including the Imperial Upgrade Stone, which can be acquired through gameplay in the Sanctuary of Aquilas.
New Server “Idavoll” Launches with Special Events
The update also introduces the new server Idavoll, offering players a fresh start alongside two dedicated launch events. Players who participate in the Invitation to Idavoll Event can receive progression rewards for creating a new character on the server, while the New Server Hunting Playtime Event grants additional milestone rewards based on accumulated hunting activity throughout the event period.
In addition, a variety of update celebration events will be available following the launch. Players can collect rewards through the Elemental Symbol Event in Sanctuary of Aquilas, benefit from increased EXP and reduced monster HP during the EXP Boost Event and take advantage of special enhancement benefits through the Mastery Equipment Enhancement Event.
The update also brings back the Dimensional Roulette Event, featuring multiple roulette modes and a ranking competition with additional rewards for active participants.
