WEBZEN has launched its new mobile MMORPG《R2M : 重燃戰火》in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao, marking the end of the pre-registration period.
《R2M : 重燃戰火》is now available for free download on the Google Play and App Store, in Traditional Chinese. The game is currently only available in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao.
Along with this launch, WEBZEN unveiled the official launch video for 《R2M : 重燃戰火》on Webzen’s YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/nZoCY6DyVP0 showing the detailed features of 4 playable characters.
R2M is the R2 IP-based MMORPG, available on iOS and Android, developed by WEBZEN Redcore, that comprises the core aspects of the original PC game ‘R2(Reign of Revolution)’, a beloved Korean PC online game of over 16 years.
In the game, players can expect to engage in large-scale PvP battles at Spots and Sieges on mobile. Also, players can transform into 132 character’s appearances and experience fancy combat animations and effects and summon over 37 Servants to accompany players with various effects on their adventure.
Meanwhile, R2M recorded 1 million pre-registered users after three days during the pre-registration period ahead of its launch in South Korea. After the launch, the game proved to be a hit, reaching 1.2 million registered players, and placing Top 3 in Google Play's top-grossing chart.
To celebrate the launch, WEBZEN is running various events to offering a daily login bonus, level rewards, bug report and survey rewards, and various in-game items.
Additionally, WEBZEN has teamed up with MyCard, a partner for digital content payments, to celebrate this launch. When users top up the MyCard points, they will receive extra points and various in-game rewards.
