WEBZEN, a leading global developer and publisher of PC and mobile games, has released its latest update for the classic PC MMORPG MU Online, introducing a powerful new Guardian, improved gameplay systems, and a variety of limited-time events packed with rewards.
New Guardian Tauros and EXP Recovery Potion
The update introduces Tauros, the 7th Guardian, a fierce companion that can aid players in battle. It can be crafted using the Seal of Tauros, unlocking a new companion to accompany players across the MU Continent.
A new item, EXP Recovery Potion, has been added to help players restore EXP lost after character death while hunting monsters. Players can also continue to recover death penalty EXP once per day for free, regardless of whether the EXP Recovery Potion is used.
Events and Double Rewards
To celebrate the update, the MU Online team has prepared an array of exciting events. The Swamp of Destruction Elite Zone will feature increased drop rates for special items, while monster difficulty is reduced by 20% during the event period.
Players can also enjoy double rewards in content such as Maze of Dimensions, Chaos Castle, Blood Castle, Devil Square, and Group Boss Battle, along with boosted monster EXP.
Additional events include the Gemstone Drop Event, the Guardian Upgrade Stone Moss Drop UP Event, the Mount & Extract Seed Sphere Event, and the Fruit Decrease Stat Reset Event.
Roulettes and Special Sales
The update also brings back the Dimensional Roulette Event, where players can spin for valuable rewards including Gold Channel Ticket, Master Seal of Ascension, and Bless of Light.
To accompany the update, Bonus WCoin promotions and Guardian Capsule sales will be available for a limited time, offering chances to obtain powerful, latest guardians like Tauros and Leviathan.
