WEBZEN, a global game publisher, has released a New Year content expansion update for its idle RPG MU: Pocket Knights, strengthening both competitive and progression-focused gameplay.
In this update, the ranking system has been expanded beyond the existing single-server ranking to introduce the new Group Ranking, which combines multiple servers into one group, and Integrated Ranking, which ranks players across all servers. This allows players to compete on a much broader scale and pursue new goals and challenges.
Character progression has also been significantly enhanced. New high-grade (Shadow, Evolution and Sanctuary) gear and accessories are now available through high chapters and stages in Battles and the Abyss Dungeon, while the maximum stages of Square of Devil and the Abyss Dungeon have been expanded to offer fresh challenges for advanced players.
To celebrate the New Year, WEBZEN has launched a limited-time event, New Year’s Lucky Pouch. Eligible players can collect event materials through Exploration and open Lucky Pouches to receive Diamonds, various growth items and new exclusive costumes.
Additionally, a new in-game shop, Sell-it-all Momo, has been added, allowing players to conveniently purchase items such as Codex crafting materials and Monster Essences that typically require extended playtime to obtain.
