WEBZEN, a leading global developer and publisher of PC and mobile games, has announced a major new update for its classic PC MMORPG MU Online, featuring the Rune Mage Renewal alongside the opening of Speed Servers designed to accelerate character growth.
Rune Mage Renewal: Power Reforged
The Rune Mage, a Half Elf who wields the power of runes, has been fully renewed with enhanced combat identity and impact. The renewal introduces a new exclusive Mastery Shield, powerful new rune-based skills, and improved performance through balance adjustments.
New skills include explosive rune attacks that deal area damage, while a newly added Wizardry Power stat further strengthens Rune Mage’s combat potential.
Speed Servers: Faster Growth, Bigger Rewards
To help players experience the renewed class at full speed, the MU Online team has employed 4 Speed Servers packed with progression boosts and limited-time rewards.
Players can earn up to 40,000 Ruud through accelerated leveling and receive a bonus of 350,000 Ruud upon reaching Level 800. A Free Server Transfer is also provided, allowing characters to move to the original server at no cost
Additional missions, playtime events, and ranking rewards also await players who rise quickly through the Speed Servers.
Events, Rankings, and Special Sales
The update also features Speed Server-exclusive missions, weekend playtime rewards, and a Level-Up Ranking Event, offering high-value rewards to top performers. To round out the experience, special in-game sales such as Speed Up Packages and Last Burning Packages will be available for a limited time.
