MU Legend: New Spellbinder Class Arrives on 20 March

WEBZEN has announced that the Spellbinder expansion for its ARPG MU Legend will arrive on 20 March, 2018 (UTC).
The Spellbinder is a support mage and is MU Legend's 5th class. As a support mage can also be shaped into a DPS caster, the Spellbinder is a versatile character that suits many styles of play.
The Spellbinder update will also bring a host of new features to the game.
A whole new dungeon, "Lupa's Ancient Library", will offer a new challenge to high-level characters. New daily missions for the Room of Duty will be available, while others will grant Dukan's Proofs which will allow all classes to complete any 2 sets of armor: Helms, tops, bottoms, shoulder armor and shoes will be offered by the daily-mission merchant.
The achievement grade will also be raised, and players can expect to obtain rewards such as Traces of Destruction, Hero Tokens, Trophies and Magic Gems.
New crafting recipes will be introduced along with a new section in the inventory for players to stash their items and ingredients.
The update will also deliver the Season Mission system for the Faction War, bringing a new rewarding and competitive feature to guild-versus-guild play. As an example, the guilds' battlegrounds have been adjusted to host 8 guilds per disputed territory. New strategies will be needed to conquer consecutive territories, and a new Faction War ranking system will be displayed in real-time.
To go along with the Spellbinder update, a series of events will be deployed in which all players will be able to get free items and useful rewards.
In addition to the announcement of the Spellbinder release date, Dennis Czybulka, COO at WEBZEN Dublin, commented on MU Legend's official release: "MU Legend's official release is set to happen later this year. While an OBT is often considered an official release, this period is more of a stepping stone in the life of a game. With the Spellbinder expansion and numerous other important updates in store for 2018 (including new continents, new dungeons, a new level cap and gear), MU Legend is well on track to hit all its development goals in the run-up to the official release."

MU Origin Gets New Summoner Class Today

WEBZEN has launched another content update for its real-time mobile MMORPG MU Origin.
The latest update to MU Origin introduces a new class Summoner along with powerful magic, splendid skill, massive attack and magnificent wings.
The Summoner also can summon a powerful supporter Valkyrie during the battle and deals magical damage.
Players will be able to create the Summoner if they have at least one character above 3 Rebirth Lv.1 or use the item 'Scroll of Dark Souls'.
Sub-character system has been added to the game. When the Secret quest is completed after 8 Rebirth Lv.1 to create a sub-character, each character can have one sub-character that shares the same name and many features, including Achievement, Pets, Soul Stones, and much more. You can switch between the main and Sub-Characters in safe areas.
With this new update, a new guild event called Land of Struggle is now available. Land of Struggle is unlocked at Guild Lv. 6 where players can battle against a boss monster with their guild mates. Only the guild master can apply for the preliminary battle, and the 16 guilds with the fastest boss-kill times will qualify for the next day's tournament.
In addition to these new features, players can also check out a new Forge system, West Akeron map, new Blood costume, and Three Chicken Brother pets. System improvement and adjustment also have come to the game.

MU Legend to Get New Spellbinder Class in March

WEBZEN has announced that the new Spellbinder class for its ARPG MU Legend will arrive in March, 2018.
The Spellbinder is a support mage that employs psychic power to strike foes with levitating swords and throwing weapons. Using wide-area crowd control to confuse enemies and help allies, she plays an important role in parties, while powerful direct hits mean she is also highly capable in 1v1 battles. With strong mid-range attacks and mind-control spells in her arsenal, MU Legend's newest class brings a unique skill set that will complement those of the existing characters.
The 5th addition to the line-up of classes, the Spellbinder will be the 1st new character to arrive since MU Legend went live in November last year. For a sneak peek at the Spellbinder, a new teaser video is also now available on the official Webzen YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/asm_RJQQ2Dk
Development for the new content is progressing according to schedule and the update is on track for release next month. While preparations continue, the MU Legend team will be releasing a developer's note with more details on the Spellbinder in the coming weeks. The note will showcase some of the concept artwork for the new class, outlining the creative approach to the character design, and will be available on the official MU Legend website.
Meanwhile, MU Legend's Faction War PvP feature has been attracting thousands of players every weekend since its release on 9 January. The development team has been listening to feedback from players and has implemented several gameplay improvements, with more on the horizon. Patch notes have been made available to players who wish to view the adjustments made.

MU Ignition Gets First Content Update Today

WEBZEN today announced the launch of the first content update for its epic browser MMO MU Ignition.
MU Ignition is the latest addition to the MU franchise, which includes MU Legend, MU Origin, MU Online and more.
The first update to MU Ignition includes a class-promotion feature, an increased level cap of 400, set items and the new areas "Kalima" and "Land of Trials".
Players can now promote their Blade Knight, Soul Master and Muse Elf characters to Blade Master, Grand Master and High Elf respectively. Each class becomes stronger and can learn new skills after the promotion.
Players at level 270 or higher can enter the new area, Kalima, which requires the "Lost Map" item for entry. In Kalima, players can find elite monsters and boss monsters, and can obtain Set Stones, excellent-grade items and more.
In addition, a new PvP area, Land of Trials, is now available for players at level 320 or higher. Many boss monsters appear in the area, and players can get Kundun's Chests, Enchanted Set Stones and more for defeating them.
With the update, players above level 270 can now use their Set Stones to change normal items to set items. Once equipped, these set items activate set bonuses. Furthermore, the MU Ignition team is hosting a special event to coincide with the introduction of the new set items. Players can simply collect set items to get many rewards.
Additionally, the MU Ignition team will be running special celebration events in February. Players can enjoy 5 different events and get valuable rewards such as Archangel's Absolute Weapon, 2-option accessories, Kundun's Chest +7 and many more.
