WEBZEN has announced its new mobile strategy game FIRST HERO.
FIRST HERO is a new real-time strategy game for the Android and iOS Mobile platform, currently working on the upcoming release of the game.
Webzen has launched the official FIRST HERO website and introduced its unique features and system requirements on the website: http://firsthero.webzen.com/
Players can recruit legendary heroes from history to test their skills in dynamic and strategic battles. While players build their base and fight battles, they will be able to gather and enhance heroes, and collect a variety of rewards from winning battles. Players may also control their heroes in battles to expand their domain and join or form Alliances to unite with other players to fortify their empire.
FIRST HERO will be available in English, Spanish and Portuguese, and the launch is set for the first half of 2018. Full details on the upcoming plan will be shared later on the official website and Facebook page.

WEBZEN Launches MU Ignition Today, Gives Away Free Starter Packs and Gifts

WEBZEN has announced that its epic browser MMO MU Ignition will go live on the webzen.com portal today.
MU Ignition is a browser-based MMO and is the latest addition to the MU franchise, which includes MU Legend, MU Origin, MU Online and more.
The game will be available to all, with no download required, after today's scheduled maintenance.

Additionally, the MU Ignition team will be running many giveaway events on the official website and Facebook page.
From now until the scheduled maintenance on 6 February, 2018 (UTC), the top-3 players with the most combat power on each server will get rewards. Plus, the best player overall will receive additional prizes.
Every week, the MU Ignition team will randomly select 100 lucky players who have accessed the game every day during the previous week and send them rewards, including Black Copper x2, Basic Mount Feed x10, Magic Crystal I x10, Jewel of Bless x10, Jewel of Life x5 and Resurrection Stone x5.
Furthermore, MU Ignition, MU Online and MU Legend will be offering cross-promotion goodies. Those who level up their characters to meet the requirements in MU Ignition and either MU Online or MU Legend will get special rewards for both games. MU Ignition to Launch on 23 January

WEBZEN today announced that its upcoming epic browser MMO MU Ignition will launch on Tuesday, 23 January, 2018 (UTC).
The launch of MU Ignition, the official MU browser MMORPG, begins a new chapter in MU's history. As a browser-based game, MU Ignition allows users to start playing in an instant without downloading any client.
After the success of the beta test last week, WEBZEN has opened pre-registration for the full launch on the official website: http://muignition.webzen.com/pre-register
From 16 January until the maintenance on 22 January at 07:00 (UTC), players can pre-register for MU Ignition and receive special rewards, consisting of Black Copper x2, Zen x20,000,000, Jewel of Bless x15, Jewel of Soul x10, Basic Mount Feed x10, Magic Crystal I x10 and Resurrection Stone x5.
All players who share MU Ignition's trailer on Facebook will also get additional rewards, including Bound Gem x200, Black Copper x2, Relic Refining Stone x10, Rare Soul x10, Jewel of Bless x10 and Jewel of Life x5. Webzen launches its mobile 8ball game, POOL TIME today

WEBZEN today announced the official commercial release of its mobile 8ball game POOL TIME, marking the end of the Soft-launching phase.
POOL TIME is a new mobile billiard game which offers players the most realistic mobile 8ball game with a simple and easy interface. Players can perform curve shots and jump shots to seize victory, experience realistic billiard physics, and play real-time matches with other users all over the world.
Starting from today, players will get the opportunity to experience realistic full 3D 8ball. POOL TIME is available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese, and the game is now available to download for free in the App Store and Google Play, excluding Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, India, Myanmar, Sudan, Iran, and Cuba.
With the official commercial release, a content update has been deployed. This new update brings new features including Run-out Mode, Trick Shot Mode, Boost Up, new missions and Offer Wall.
Run-out Mode is a tournament to compete pots-in-a-row up to 10 times against other players. The total prize money will increase when the number of participants increases. Top 50% of participants will receive prize money that exceeds the entry fee. The more players, the more prize money.
In the Trick Shot Mode, players can not only place, edit and try their own trick shot but also save and share the replay video of their successful shot.
A boost up chance shows up randomly when players finish their match and get back to the lobby. They can get boost ups with a small fee, or by watching a video ad to help winning the next match.
With the update, players can also level up and unlock new missions, and get free Rubies by clearing missions on the Offer Wall.
The POOL TIME team is running a beginner’s campaign, so all players can get the free equipment ‘Pooltime Set’ by finishing 1 on 1 matches. Once they play 1 on1 matches 10 times, they will get the full Pool Time set.
Additionally, all the participants who answered the previous survey during the Closed Beta Test will finally receive a coupon for their exclusive Leopard Cue in the game.

MU Legend Launches Faction War Update Today

WEBZEN today announces that the second content patch for MU Legend's OBT is now live.
2 months after the official OBT launch, this release sees the introduction of the highly anticipated Faction War content. This new challenge, the first of its kind in the ARPG genre, invites avid guild & PvP players to participate in epic, guild-driven PvP matches.
Guilds can battle amongst each other for the ascendancy of the server by conquering territories and expanding their empires.
