MU Ignition Rolls out Beta Test Tonight, Full Launch Set for January 2018

WEBZEN has announced that the beta test for its upcoming epic browser MMO MU Ignition will begin tonight.
From 8 January until 11 January, 2018, MU Ignition's beta test will be available for all users to join from 22:00 until 03:00 (UTC) each day. Users can simply log in to the official website to participate in the beta, and there is no download required. Upon conclusion of the beta test, all player progress and characters will be wiped.
MU Ignition is the official MU browser MMORPG, which will begin a new chapter in MU's history. As a browser-based game, MU Ignition allows users to start playing in an instant without downloading any client.
To support the beta testers in this epic fantasy world, they will get free premium items and 2,500 Gems at 23:00 and 01:00 (UTC) every day (2x the amount on the first day). In addition, testers will be granted exclusive rewards for the grand opening, including Bound Gems x500, Black Copper x2, Rare Soul x15, Relic Refining Stone x15, Jewel of Bless x15, Double EXP Potion x1, Jewel of Soul x10 and Jewel of Life x5.
The MU Ignition team will also launch a game screenshot contest on the official Facebook page. From 9 January through to 16 January, 2018 (UTC), 100 winners will be randomly selected to receive special rewards, including Black Copper x2, Relic Refining Stone x10, Rare Soul x10, Jewel of Bless x10, Jewel of Life x5 and Bound Gems x200. MU Legend Faction Wars update to be released next week

WEBZEN proudly announces that the second additional content patch for MU Legend’s OBT will arrive on Global servers the 9th of January.
2 months after official OBT release, WEBZEN will be releasing its highly awaited Faction Wars features! This whole new challenge, a “Premiere” in ARPG game genre, invites avid guild & PVP players to conquer guild territories in epic guild-driven PVP matches.
Guilds will be able to defy any other guilds for the ascendancy of the server and prove which fellow players supremacy will rule over the server
Dennis Czybulka, COO at Webzen Dublin, comments: “Next week marks another very exciting milestone for MU Legend’s OBT! The Faction Wars innovating feature has shaken the Korean ARPG standards and we are expecting the same for our Global version. We are glad to be introducing a very sophisticated guild-PVP-conquest feature to our version of the game where Guild Leader strategy is a “must-to-have” requirement.”
He also confirms: “The guild wars feature update marks the last important step to shape up the final OBT version of MU Legend. Thereafter, each following additional contents to the game will be part of the official release of the game. Talking about the official release of the game, if we are still keeping secret and for now the exact date, rest ensured however that we are steadily working on making happen what will be our most important date after the OBT one! Almost needless to say because our crowd of fans are expecting it to come, among the ranks of the big and numerous novelties for 2018, stands the mysterious Spellbinder class which will bring the number of playable characters to 5!

MU IGNITION official teaser video and website go live today

WEBZEN has revealed an official teaser video and website for its upcoming epic browser MMO MU IGNITION.
MU IGNITION is a browser-based MMORPG which will open a new chapter in MU’s history. After its release in China, Taiwan, Vietnam and South Korea, MU IGNITION has a significant number of registered users, with more than 80 million players.
MU IGNITION is the official MU browser MMO. It runs on web browsers, allowing its users to enjoy this MMORPG in an instant, without downloading any client. Players can enjoy its real-time combat system with varied PvE and PvP features. The Beta Test is coming in January.
The game is the next in line to be released, after the long-lasting classic MU Online and recent games such as MU Legend and MU Origin, establishing the MU franchise for the next generations.
Players will find the iconic MU Online classes, such as the Dark Knight, Dark Mage, and Elf. Other features include various dungeons, raid bosses, PK maps and a variety of items.

Battlefield of Emperor Arrives for mobile RPG MU Origin Today

WEBZEN has launched another content update for its real-time mobile MMORPG MU Origin.
The latest update to MU Origin, Battlefield of Emperor includes new features, including a 20 vs 20 battle, Tarot Card System, Costume Wardrobe System, Companion Arena, Guild Diplomacy and much more.
Battlefield of Emperor is a new 20 vs 20 battle fighting each other divided into the Alliance and the Order. Characters over 6 Rebirth Lv. 1 can participate in the Battlefield of Emperor and they are sorted in the battlefield depending on the rebirth level. After players destroy the opponent's Mineral Base to win the battle, warriors who have acquired over 100 points receive win or defeat rewards such as Bound Zen and EXP.
The latest update also introduces Tarot Card system that players can equip the cards to give extra options to their character. The Tarot Card system opens upon completing the quest Master of the Forest, and 15 types of Tarot Cards are now available for levelling up to 50, giving a special option of each Tarot Card to the character when equipped.
Costume Wardrobe has been added where players can equip and enhance Costumes. Costumes can be leveled up to Lv. 10 by using the same type of costumes in the inventory.
New Companion features are also unlocked, such Companion Arena and Companion Blessing. Companion Arena is a 2 vs 2 Server Arena event that two companions can join the event in pair every Friday and Saturday. Players can send Blessings to other Companions and get blessed in Companion Blessing.
Guild Diplomacy system is now available to ally with guilds beyond servers. Both guild members cannot attack allied guild members in the world map or all-server maps in Guild mode.
In addition to these new features, players can check out the increased level cap, expanded floor of Endless Tower, Emblem System, Santa Costume. Snow pet and new Accessory System. System improvement and adjustment also have come to the game.

MU Legend OBT: 3v3 PvP Battle Launches Today, Guild Wars Update Comes in January

WEBZEN proudly announces the release today of PvP content for its well-acclaimed ARPG MU Legend.
The release comes just 1 month after the official OBT launch and is WEBZEN's first update for the game. The highly anticipated first set of PvP features is now unlocked, enabling players worldwide to compete in fast-paced, cross-server 3v3 battles. The cross-server functionality enables players in specific regions to challenge players from other servers in the same region.
