Elite Lord of Alliance Releases Patch 3.2 "The Lost Temple"

Seoul, Korea - February 17th, 2016 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, announced the official release of "The Lost Temple", expansion 3.2 of its triple-action hack 'n' slash MMORPG ELOA: Elite Lord of Alliance.
ELOA: Elite Lord of Alliance is an anime-inspired triple-action hack 'n' slash MMORPG, with classic action RPG elements and unique dynamic 3-combat-stance gameplay. With this latest update, players will experience a challenging new raid dungeon. "Lost Temple" is a ruined place, abandoned long ago and tangled with vines. Only players with a level 40 character (and 1020 Mettle or more) are allowed to enter the new dungeon, where new monsters and final bosses such as Mabo, Shed and Nemegaz will await challengers. Since all bosses have their own 1-hit fatal attack, avoiding annihilation will be the most important tactic in helping players defeat enemies and get Lv. 40 unique weapons for all classes.
Along with the new raid dungeon, the ELOA team is organising a dungeon hunter event from February 16th until the weekly maintenance on February 23rd, 2016 (UTC). The first three players (including all party members) of each server who submit their dungeon-clear screenshots of the Lost Temple in the event thread on the official ELOA forum, will get the Happy Phillos Uniform Collection: A costume that changes their characters’ appearance. Additionally, the best screenshot from each sever will be selected by ELOA’s GM (Game Master), and an attendance-check event will be held until the end of February.
Furthermore, expansion 3.2 will introduce many improvements to the game, including the chat system, cash shop and bug fixes.

ASTA Open Beta Date Announced

Seoul, Korea - 16th of February, 2016 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play MMO games, is pleased to announce that the Open Beta for the new Asian fantasy MMORPG ASTA - The War of Tears and Winds will begin on the 2nd of March, 2016 (UTC).
ASTA - The War of Tears and Winds is a classic fantasy MMORPG with gameplay that offers an essential MMORPG experience, combining traditional features such as customizable attributes and server-first achievements with modern comforts like a group finder and automatic matchmaking.
After the Initial Beta Test in November 2015, ASTA is finally getting ready to go into its Open Beta on the 2nd of March. Based on player feedback, and in cooperation with Polygon Games, the ASTA team has been focusing their efforts on voice-over recording, progressing the game’s translation, and implementing community suggestions in anticipation of the game’s release.
Starting from Wednesday the 2nd of March, all players with an active WEBZEN account can freely access the Open Beta and check out the first addition to the webzen.com game portal in 2016. Players will be able to pre-download the English language Open Beta client several days in advance so that they can dive straight in when the servers open their doors. The race to server-first achievements can then begin.
Developed by Polygon Games, ASTA is set in a vast and vibrant world filled with colorful environments and unique characters, inspired by Asian myths and legends. Players can choose between 2 factions, 3 races per faction, and a total of 5 distinct classes. Each faction has 7 areas to explore (excluding starting areas which differ from race to race), filled with unique characters and challenging enemies along with intriguing and enthralling storylines and cooperative public quests.
ASTA offers extensive options for both solo and party play, with a flexible dungeon system and a ready-made party and raid finder that allows players to connect and group up in an instant. PvE and PvP enthusiasts alike will get their fill discovering ASTA’s dungeons, daily raids, battlegrounds and guild-vs-guild competitions.

Rappelz Epic IX Part 3: Rise of Power is Now Live

Seoul, Korea ? 2nd February, 2016 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, announces that the dark fantasy MMORPG Rappelz released its latest expansion, Epic IX Part 3: Rise of Power today.
After the scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, 2nd February, 2016 (UTC), Rise of Power was delivered to the Rappelz community bringing many new features, including a brand-new dungeon, new monsters and quests, a final awakening system and much more.
The Remains of the Ancients is a new dungeon where many challenges await players. Among the strongest opponents that players will face in the Remains of the Ancients, two powerful and terrifying monsters known as the Bloodthirsty Slaughterer and the Crystal Golem along with a mysterious final boss, Grand Master Hector, will have a prominent place. The boss monsters will push players to their limits, and this dungeon can only be accessed with a "Defense Force Token" quest item. This is a level 170 quest chain, meaning that players below this level will not be able to access the dungeon unless they are teleported inside by a player with the item.
On top of the new dungeon, with Epic 9.3 players will have new reasons to return to the last 6 instanced dungeons: Cubric Dungeon, Arid Moonlight Underground Base Stage 4, Valmore Mine Underground Base Stage 4, Crystal Valley Underground Base Stage 4, Palmir Relics Underground Base Stage 4, and Red Spider Circus Stage 4. Once players kill the final boss in each of the dungeons above, players will see a special pillar. Clicking on it will bring the boss back to life in a "revived" form. If players manage to kill the boss again, they will be rewarded with a Broken Jewel. By combining all the Broken Jewels, heroes of Gaia can obtain a quest item that will allow them to complete the first talent point quest (level 160).
Epic 9.3, Rise of Power also adds the final awakening system that boosts players' skills like never before, will generate a blast of power that will shake the lands of Gaia and unleash players' full potential. In order to awaken armor such as helmets, gloves, and boots with these special powers, players have to buy the Awakening Stone from an NPC in game. There is no real money involved in this process. However, if players wish to optimize their equipment, they may want to "reset" the randomness of the second option with a Cash Shop item (Final Awakening Seal Scroll).

C9: Awakened Level System Update

Seoul, Korea - January 27th, 2016 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, has announced that its Action MORPG CONTINENT OF THE NINTH SEAL (C9) has released its latest content update.
With this update, a new Awakened Level System is introduced to C9 enthusiasts. Players with a level 67 character holding an Ultimate Fury Skill, and who complete special quests to prove that they are worthy, will receive a hidden power that applies to all their characters for both PvP and PvE.
Once players select one of three bonuses, they can level up the awakened power to strengthen their bonus even further (up to the maximum awakened level of 300).
The Awakened Level System grants players powerful abilities with no special equipment, and shares the awakened level and experience with all characters on the same account. Consequently, not only will players' main characters receive a big advantage, but their sub-characters will also.
With the arrival of the Awakened Level System, the C9 team will be running a week-long event to give out Cosmos Stones, Rentus War Artifacts and more items to players that reach awakened level 50 or higher.
The update patch also includes several upgrades for the Viking class rebalancing, Mentor System improvement, bug fixes and much more.

Elite Lord of Alliance Adds a New Raid Dungeon, “Den of the Looters”

Seoul, Korea - January 26th, 2016 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, today announced the official release of “The Looters”, expansion 3.1 of its triple-action hack 'n' slash MMORPG ELOA: Elite Lord of Alliance.
ELOA: Elite Lord of Alliance is an anime-inspired triple-action hack 'n' slash MMORPG, with classic action RPG elements and unique dynamic 3-combat-stance gameplay. With this latest expansion, players can enter Den of the Looters, a new raid dungeon where boss monsters such as Advisor Bota, Revived Bulk and Turncoat Borian use poison skills to attack players, and where many traps capable of inflicting massive damage have been laid. Above all, avoiding these traps will be the most important tactic to help players defeat enemies and get Lv. 40 unique weapons for all classes.
In addition, PvP enthusiasts will be able to take part in a new season and a special event named “The Battle”, from January 26th until February 2nd, 2016 (UTC). Depending on the number of times they have joined the battlefield, participants will get special rewards, including Disguise Scrolls, Eva’s Breath, Low-class Reinforcement Failure Protection Scrolls, and High-class Reinforcement Failure Protection Scrolls.
Additionally, the ELOA team is organizing a Valentine event in the game, spanning from January 26th through to February 16th, 2016 (UTC). Players will get a special Valentine White Chocolate, Valentine Chocolate, and Valentine Event Surprise Box dropped from event boss monsters in the Rumen Valley, Lost City, Brimstone Mine, and Crying Land. Players will also be in with a chance to acquire the Pure White Nightmare costume, weapon costumes, pets, potions and more from the Valentine Event Surprise Box.
