CONTINENT OF THE NINTH SEAL Launches its 5th Expansion, Lord of Baltic

Seoul, Korea – 23rd June, 2015 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, has announced that the dungeon-based MORPG, CONTINENT OF THE NINTH SEAL (C9) released Lord of Baltic, its fifth expansion today.
After the scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2015 (UTC), fans of C9 are able to jump into Lord of Baltic and enjoy a new playable class, ‘Viking’, a fishing mode system, and even more features.
This new expansion brings the ferocious Viking fighters from the icy north to unleash their frozen wrath in their fight against evil. The class primarily uses Dual Battle Axes to attack enemies. Unlike other fighters, the Vikings have a special ‘Frost’ ability to mark enemies with the skill ‘Frost Stigma’, and then freeze them afterwards.
Players will also be able to fish in the game using just a rod and some bait which can be gathered from dungeons. Not only will you be able to catch a variety of beautiful fish in Waterford, you will be able to have a chance to get useful buffs and precious items such as Potions, Auspices or Skill books. In addition, C9 players can participate in a celebration event to go along with this new fishing mode system. The more fishing points a player gets, the higher the reward, such as Medic Gear, Soul: Prelude of Storm Set and more.
Along with these new features, the expansion introduces an adjustment of the PvP balance of the Battle Maiden class.
To celebrate the launch of this new expansion, a level-up event is taking place which offers special rewards to players who advance their Viking to level 57 during the event period.
From tomorrow through to July 31st, 2015, players will be able to visit any of C9’s media partners to obtain a code for the Lord of Baltic Celebration Package. Each code provides: Extreme Potion Package x3, PC Cafe Premium item [7 days] x1, Gold Nethergem, Dimensional Fissure Ticket x2, Bang Turmoil Ticket x2.

ARCHLORD 2 releases a new content update

Seoul, Korea – 17th June 2015 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, is delighted to announce that the PvP-focused MMORPG Archlord 2 just released its latest content update.
Increasing the maximum level to 60, the latest content update introduces “Stardust Land”, an open PvP area, “Wraith Valley”, a new instance to explore, 240 new quests to accomplish, as well as plenty of new equipment - including some legendary quality items.
Following the events that unfolded over the course of the last major update in the “Land of Corruption” and “Sunny Garden”, players will discover that the great evil that plagued these lands has not yet been vanquished. With the help of a mysterious sect called the “Nightfall Emissary” the Dark Priest Galia fled from the heroes of the Azuni and Crunn, setting his sights on a new territory: Stardust Land. Now corrupted by the Dark Priest, players must liberate this area from the ancient evil summoned by the Nightfall Emissary and venture into the “Wraith Valley” dungeon to confront one of Galia’s most powerful henchmen: Death Master Kwatrika. Eliminating this boss won’t be an easy task for any adventurer, but the rewards are appropriate for the challenge: a new tier of equipment!
Although they share a common enemy, Azuni and Crunn should watch their back while eliminating the Nightfall Emissary, as Stardust Land is an open PvP area. Veterans looking for new thrills can also test their mettle against the new World Raid Bosses for their precious loot, new legendary weapons and exclusive legendary accessory sets.
Along with these new features, the update introduces many bug fixes for the game.
To celebrate the new content update with a bang, a login event is taking place and offers players the chance to win an exclusive Euty mount.
New players can also take advantage of some special support items, specifically designed to help them catch up and grow their characters. Time-limited versions of these items will be available for free in the in-game shop.

Age of Wulin Chapter 6 Blood & Flowers is LIVE!

Seoul, Korea – 16th June, 2015 – WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, announces that the martial arts MMORPG Age of Wulin released its latest expansion, Chapter 6: Blood & Flowers.
Epic challenges and social features await in the newest Age of Wulin expansion with the arrival of an exciting adventure, Lingxiao City, a new Forbidden Area: the Island of Delight, the Flower Prince competition and the Partner system.
Chapter 6: Blood & Flowers adds a massive player battleground entwined in the lore of the game. Lingxiao City is a stronghold nestled in snowy mountains, within the regions of Heaven’s Lake and Snowy Peak. Although secluded from civilisation, several neighbouring factions oppose the leader of Lingxiao City, the Moon-Watching Elder, hungry for expansion and power. It will be down to the heroes of the Jianghu to decide the fate of this stronghold by participating in this adventure. Players will be attributed at random one of the four factions, siding with either Snow Mountain Sanctuary, the Valley of Frozen Souls, the Blood Sabre Clan, or the defenders of Lingxiao City itself. Taking the stronghold won’t consist in a simple brawl between factions as the participants will have to accomplish a series of missions, going from under-cover operation to hostage rescue, culminating in the elimination of the general to be claimed victorious. The activity will reward players with a variety of goodies, including the Dragon Breath Sword.
Entering the secretive Shifting Flower Palace will no longer be restricted to women, as a new competition will take place to crown the Flower Prince. Each month, players fulfilling specific requirements will be selected to participate in the Flower Prince Competition, should they accept the invitation. If a participant gathers the most Silk Balls by either bidding or defeating the other contenders in combat, he will become the new Flower Prince with all the rewards that follow: Ancient Skill Set from this faction to cultivate, a special outfit and access to the Shifting Flower Palace.
Making friends will bring benefit in Age of Wulin with the Partner System. Players can befriend other offline players by building a relationship. If the friendship is successful, the character can learn the Combat Skills and Internal Skills of the new friend and summon this character if needed in combat. Summoning an offline friend requires Charisma that is replenished every day and whose amount can be upgraded by accomplishing specific daily tasks. The more Charisma a player has, the longer the offline friend will assist in combat. The Partner System offers other perks such as the Dry Kindling Fuels the Flame Palm Skill Set.
Survivors of the Silver Hook Sword Boat instance have a new Forbidden Area to take down: the Island of Delight. Opened twice a day and with specific conditions to fulfil, players can measure themselves against the goons of the Hell King and uncover his nefarious activities to win several techniques for their character, among other rewards.

CONTINENT OF THE NINTH SEAL: Lord of Baltic Teaser Revealed

Seoul, Korea – 16th June, 2015 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, today released a teaser trailer for Lord of Baltic, the fifth expansion for the dungeon-based MORPG, CONTINENT OF THE NINTH SEAL (C9).
Lord of Baltic is C9’s fifth expansion coming on June 23rd, 2015 (UTC), which will include a new class, fishing system, and even more features. The Vikings are the 5th class of Fighter in C9. They are prideful fighters who have been protecting the Nest of the Ancient Dragons deep inside the Recko Mountains. They kept their existence a secret in order to carry out their destiny. Unlike other fighters, they have a special ‘Frost’ ability that has been passed down from their ancestors and allows them to freeze their enemies. However, it differs greatly from the elemental magic of the Elementalists and Wardens.
Players will also be able to access a new fishing mode system. If players run out of stamina to run dungeons, they will now be able to enjoy fishing in Waterford Village on the 1st continent, and acquire special rewards including Potions, Auspices, Skill books and more.

Age of Wulin: New Expansion for June

Seoul, Korea – 8th June, 2015 – WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, announces that the martial arts MMORPG Age of Wulin will release a new expansion on June 16th, named Chapter 6: Blood & Flowers.
Following Heaven’s Ascent, Chapter 6: Blood & Flowers brings many exciting features and challenges for the Age of Wulin community with Lingxiao City, a new player battleground, the Flower Prince competition, the Partner System and a new instance to discover: Island of Delight.
The icy gates of Lingxiao City open with Chapter 6, as players take charge of the defence or siege of Lingxiao City. Players will be attributed a faction at random, between Snow Mountain Sanctuary, Valley of Frozen Souls or Blood Sabre Clan, and will either fight off fierce invaders or become a defender of Lingxiao City itself.
The Shifting Flower Palace is one of the most secretive Factions, versed in the martial arts with ruthless warrior maidens, seeking revenge against the men who wronged them until now. Once a month, the Shifting Flower Palace will open the doors of this restricted Faction to male characters for the supreme title of Flower Prince, but not without setting conditions. The top ranked players in several categories, if they accept the invitation, will be bidding and fighting to become the new Prince of the Palace. Access to the Shifting Flower Palace and the title won’t be the only rewards, as the Flower Prince will receive also the Ancient Skill Set of this Faction to cultivate and a special outfit to parade in.
The Jianghu is a dangerous world and Chapter 6: Blood & Flowers will bring a new feature enhancing the social aspect of the game: the Partner System. Characters can build loyalty and befriend other characters choosing to do so. This new ally can be summoned during battles and allows players to learn from their own Combat and Internal skills among the options.
A new instance is introduced in Chapter 6: Blood & Flowers, the Island of Delight which follows the events of the Silver Hook Sword Boat from the previous expansion. Only the seasoned players can enter this instance to challenge the Hell King and unravel the illicit activities taking place on the Island of Delight.
