SEVENCORE Reveals Content Update with New Class 'Assassin'

Seoul, Korea, 13th January, 2015 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, is delighted to announce that free-to-play MMORPG SEVENCORE unleashed the latest content update with the brand-new class ‘Assassin’ today.
After the scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, 13 January, the Assassin is now available for both English and Spanish servers.
Assassins are masters of agility who fight using daggers or claws to eliminate their opponents. Assassins specialise in melee combat, dealing swift and deadly blows using Daggers or Claws. Assassins bring both a high critical chance and dodge rate to the table, allowing them to outmanoeuvre foes before landing the finishing blow.
Claw Assassins are powerful melee fighters with access to numerous abilities to boost their critical chance, as well as skills allowing them to deal quick attacks to numerous foes. Claws specialise in striking quickly, dealing a large number of small blows in a short period of time. Claws pierce their enemy's defence by puncturing their armour, dealing critical damage.
Dagger Assassins rely more heavily on single target damage, with the ability to cloak themselves in order to deal powerful stealth attacks to unsuspecting enemies. Along with a strike from the shadows, exploiting your opponent's weakness and dealing crippling blows, Daggers allow the Assassin to deal small, quick blow, while being more agile than their warrior counterparts.
With this new content update, SEVENCORE offers an increased level cap for characters in English Server, going from level 60 to level 80. In conjunction with this increase, players with level 80 character will be able to explore a new field, Ancile Islands.
From now until 27 January, the Dungeon Runner Event will be organised by the Sevencore Team. Once players accept an event quest from event NPC at Delos and clear the dungeon, they will get a special prize.
In addition, a brand-new item Mechanical Mount will be available to buy on limited offer until the scheduled maintenance on 27 January 2015 (UTC).

Age of Wulin: Three Expansions On The Way!

Seoul, Korea – 12th January, 2014 – WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, is delighted to announce that the martial arts MMORPG, Age of Wulin will release its third expansion in March 2015, leading the way of an exciting roadmap for 2015.
"Chapter 4: Betrayal & Forgiveness", the first of the three expansions scheduled for the first half of 2015, will be released in English and will deliver exciting new features for the players in early March, including 6 new playable Factions, the introduction of the Weather system and many other changes to look forward to.
The month of March will bring changes in the vast world of Age of Wulin, as the adventurers’ allegiance to their Sect will be put to the test as they will have the opportunity to betray their peers and join one of the 6 Factions. Each of these Factions possesses its own skills, vying with those of the 8 existing Sects and which will surely attract newcomers in their web. Players can pick one of the following Factions:
Golden Needle Shen Family, Beast Villa, Xu Family Village, Rootless Clan, Shifting Flower Palace, Peach Blossom Island. Or they can decide to join another Sect of their own choosing, or become a true vagabond with no affiliation to any of the groups in the Jianghu.
Bringing more realism to the already rich game experience, Age of Wulin will see a 4-stage day and night system, giving different lightning for morning, noon, dusk and night. Additional weather effects will be added, including snow, solar eclipses, storms and more to enjoy.

ARCHLORD 2 Releases Its Latest Expansion and a New Server

Seoul, South Korea – 16th December 2014 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, is delighted to announce that the PvP-focused MMORPG Archlord 2 released its second expansion Eternal Strife and a new server today.
Eternal Strife introduces two new races, joining the ranks of the game’s factions. The Dragonscion join the Humans to support the Azuni’s cause, whereas the Moonelves rally under the banners of the Crunn. Specialized in magic, these new races offer unique starting zones, new archetypes and weapons, thus extending the range of choices for the Archlord 2 players.
Making up for their lack of stamina with clever engineering, Dragonscion are equipped with a long-range magical Pistol, making them a serious threat on any battlefield. Moonelves are not to be taken lightly either, as they are fond of their signature weapon, the Orb, which delivers devastating blows to their enemies. Following the introduction of these newcomers, players can explore the two new starting zones, revealing a side of Chantra drastically different from any of the previous territories. Dragonscion will start their adventure on the Island of Rest, populated with majestic towers and luxuriant forests, whereas the enchanting and mysterious Moonlight Tareh Forest will be the setting for the Moonelves’ first steps in Chantra.
With Eternal Strife, WEBZEN also opens a new European server, allowing newcomers to discover the world of Archlord 2 and existing players to start afresh if they wish to try out one of the new races.
To celebrate the winter season, the capital cities of Chantra will be decorated with a festive look and carols will play in town to spread the Christmas spirit to their inhabitants. Furthermore, a Christmas event is taking place until the 13th January, in which players pick up a quest from the event NPC in town and collect candy canes from defeated monsters in order to win a Christmas Costume for their characters.
For the players wanting to try out the Dragonscion or the Moonelves, a special event is now taking place, offering amazing rewards to whoever manages to become the first Archlord with a character of these races. Better start leveling now!
To add to the events bonanza, multiple server bonus are applied. Starting today, character experience, weapon mastery, item and gold drop rates as well as fame point acquisition will be increased until the 28th December.

CONTINENT OF THE NINTH SEAL Launches a New Advanced Class – Valkyrie

Seoul, Korea, 9th December 2014 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, released a brand new class Valkyrie for the dungeon-based MORPG, CONTINENT OF THE NINTH SEAL (C9).
Starting Tuesday, 9th December 2014, a new advanced class for the Mystic, the Valkyrie is available for C9 actionists. The Valkyrie is able to perform both melee and ranged skills without changing stances, and summon a device that supports you in the rear.
The Valkyrie mainly utilizes Guided Missiles, Device and Cannon skills. She performs ranged attacks using a cannon with special abilities and guided missiles at a single or multiple targets. She also performs melee attacks while a device supports you from the rear. In addition, she is very proficient in both melee and ranged combats, and equipped with various evasion techniques using the recoil of cannons.
Her primary weapon is a Gunlance, a long, piercing weapon with a mechanism inside which can fire a blank round. The Gunlance can be used for basic melee attacks with a lance as Spear Technician, as well as basic ranged attacks with a cannon as Shell Technician.

To celebrate the launch of the Valkyrie, C9 team has just launched an item giveaway for all players to enjoy. From now through to 31 December, 2014 (UTC), players can visit any of C9’s media partners to obtain a special free item key. SEVENCORE Releases Its First Expansion with New Battlefields

Seoul, Korea, 3rd December, 2014 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, is delighted to announce that free-to-play MMORPG SEVENCORE released its first expansion on the 2nd of December.
With this first major content update, SEVENCORE offers new battlefield areas and new mount items with the Occupation War for the English server Balmung.
This expansion includes the battlefields Tillau and Crimson Plateau, where players can earn Victory Points (VP) to spend on weapons, armour, random boxes, and even mounts from the PvP vendors.
With the activation of the Occupation War, the Guild versus Guild (or GvG) competition is bound to heat up. Each Saturday at 9:00 p.m. UTC, GvG enthusiasts will compete against other guilds each week on the English server to occupy a certain area in order to collect taxes and manage prices in regional goods. Winners of this competition will be able to access the finals, Presidential election for Inadar, a world that combines science fiction with elements of fantasy.
To support SEVENCORE’s guild system, a variety of events for guild competition will be organized by the SEVENCORE team until 16th December. The best guilds will be able to get special prizes, including: Star Turtle Invitation, Mounts (Skeletal Armada, Scorpion, or Turtle) and many more.
Starting Tuesday, 16 December, 2014 (UTC), players will be able to enjoy Christmas in-game events and purchase limited edition Christmas cloak, costumes, Rudolph and Mounts until 30th December.
