Age of Wulin New Expansion is LIVE!

Seoul, Korea – 2nd December, 2014 – WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, is delighted to announce that the martial arts MMORPG, Age of Wulin released its second expansion today, officially ending the Open Beta Phase.
“Chapter 3: Wisdom is a Journey”, now available in English, introduces many new features for new and old players alike, with the reveal of the 4th Internal Skill for each of the 8 existing Sects, while providing a greater level cap for non-Sect “Jianghu” Internal Skills. The adventurers will also be able to master existing skill sets to the 8th and 9th levels and put them to test with more challenging versions of existing dungeons, including the “Sect Forbidden Instances”.
The fight for dominance is heating up with the addition of the Dragon and Tiger Tournament and the Inter-Sect Tournament, which bring new PVP activities along with the established Mont-Hua Competition. As daily and weekly confrontations will take place in each of these challenges, putting the best fighters of the servers against one another, certain skills restrictions will be in place, allowing for only the best to reach the top position and be rewarded with skill books and progression items, should they find themselves victorious.
With Open-PvP being the main pillar of Age of Wulin, the lucky holders of the Jianghu Treasures won’t be safe anymore with the new feature: the Jianghu Treasure Assassin. Players will be selected based on their own strength to become an assassin with a simple mission: eliminate the holders of the precious Jianghu Treasures and reap the rewards! Romance is also a key theme of Wisdom is a Journey with the introduction of new activities for the happy couples of Age of Wulin, including extra rewards for completing Team Practice or a Forbidden Instance together. They’ll also have the option to flaunt new titles on their characters, should they decide to terminate their marriage.

Launch of new Flyff region: WEBZEN brings English Flyff to Europe!

Seoul, Korea, 1st December, 2014 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, is delighted to announce that the manga-style MMORPG Flyff will open its first English server in Europe on the 2nd of December.
Currently published in American, German and French territories, Flyff is now opening the doors of Clockworks, the new server based in Frankfurt and targeted at English speakers across Europe. It will be the occasion for players to join the new server and enjoy a better gaming experience in the European timeframe. Clockworks is also special as it is the first European server to host the version Flyff Gold! Furthermore, the new habitants of Madrigal won’t be on their own, as they will share the website and forum of the Flyff American community and join the discussion.
In order to give players a head-start for the celebrations, the pre-download client for the Clockwork server is already available on the Flyff Official Website at http://en.flyff.webzen.com/Gameguide/GameDownLoad/ although the server will be open from the 2nd of December.

SEVENCORE’s first expansion arrives on the 2nd of December 2014

Seoul, Korea, 28th November, 2014 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, will release the first expansion for free-to-play MMORPG SEVENCORE on the 2nd of December.
Starting Tuesday, 2nd December 2014, all players will be able to explore new battlefield areas with the upcoming Occupation War for the English server ‘Balmung’.
Those who participate in battlefields such as Tillau and Crimson Plateau will earn players Victory Points (VP). Victory Points can be used to purchase powerful weapons, armor, random boxes, and even mounts from the PVP Vendors. While these items are usually tailored toward PvP combat, they’re suitable for PvE combat as well, making Battlefields an excellent source of powerful gear.
The Tillau boasts buffs spawning in various areas of the map and a quest to get a temporary mount to use in battle. The Crimson Plateau puts teams against each other in a head on conflict. With both Staging Points placed directly below their teams spawning location, the Crimson Plateau will be a battlefield which is most likely won by defeating you opponents rather than claiming their Staging Point.
With the introduction of the Occupation War, a guild will compete against other guilds each week on the English server every Saturday 21:00 (UTC) to occupy a certain area in order to collect taxes and manage prices in regional goods. Each winning guilds will be able to access the finals, Presidential election for Inadar, a world that combines science fiction with elements of fantasy.
SEVENCORE is a free-to-play MMORPG with a mounted combat, featuring unique combat abilities of mounts and weapons add another degree of strategy never seen in MMORPGs. SEVENCORE offers also incredible depth when it comes to character customization; from the initial look of your avatar to their armour, weapons, and even mounts.

MU Online: Season 9 Update is Now Live

Seoul – November 11th, 2014 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, has announced the release of Season 9, MU Online’s latest content update.
After the scheduled maintenance on November 11th, players will be able to experience newly updated features, a wide screen mode and in-game setting changes along with the Season 9 update.
Season 9 introduces the “Urk Mountain”, a new hunting ground in Archeron, in which players can hunt new enemies and a boss monster called Lord Silvester. When defeated, Lord Silvester will reward players with the following special prizes: a pentagram, a socket item, a sphere, or a tetra crystal.
The new “4 Lv Seed Sphere (Tetra)” is either obtained from Level 132 monsters or higher, or from combining a Seed and a Sphere to get a Seed Sphere via the Seed Master NPC. Once the 4Lv Seed Sphere is equipped to all socketed items, it will give the character even stronger options and weapon abilities.
The content update also features an upgraded MUUN system, including new mount types of MUUN, an auto-active skill, and a sub-slot for MUUN. Also, this update will change the appearance of the MUUN and the mount.
Along with the new content, many improvements have been applied in this latest update: In-game setting of PVP, Character and Pet System. Several classes have been improved and the Character stat specialization and skill damage have been modified. In addition, the wide screen mode is available, allowing players to see a wider map while being aware of nearby enemies.
To celebrate the long-awaited arrival of Season 9, MU Online has just launched an item giveaway for both new and returning gamers to enjoy. From now until November 25, 2014 (UTC), players can visit any of MU Online’s media partners to obtain a special item key. SEVENCORE Available Now on WEBZEN.COM

Seoul, Korea, 5th November 2014 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, has announced free-to-play MMORPG SEVENCORE is available now on its global game portal, WEBZEN.com.
Starting Tuesday, 4th November 2014, all players with active WEBZEN accounts will be able to access SEVENCORE. Players without a WEBZEN account can create one for free at: http://www.webzen.com
Additionally, SEVENCORE's previous provider, Route Entertainment Korea membership was merged into WEBZEN, so that previous players can easily access the game after a simple account transfer process.
After installing the game (available for free download on the official website: English game client - http://en.sevencore.webzen.com/Download/Client/ and Spanish game client - http://es.sevencore.webzen.com/Download/Client/ ), players will be able to choose between two available servers: English and Spanish, although there are plans for launching the service in other languages such as Portuguese, French, and German.

From today through to 2nd December 2014, WEBZEN will be running a variety of events to celebrate the launch. All players can avail of 30% EXP Boost for free, allowing them to level up their characters really fast. In addition, every 2 levels, players will receive Level Up Boost Gifts helping them to reach the high level contents even faster.
