SEVENCORE Begins Applications for German/French Closed Beta Test

Seoul, Korea - 20th March, 2015 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, announced today that free-to-play MMORPG SEVENCORE has begun accepting applications for German/French closed beta test.
From today through to 25th March (UTC), players with a WEBZEN account can apply for the closed beta test of German/French language servers. Players will not lose their progress made during the test period, and will even receive a special closed beta tester’s cape as a reward.

SEVENCORE’s newest race, Aimon, released!

Seoul, Korea - 18th March, 2015 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, announced today that free-to-play MMORPG SEVENCORE has released its newest race, Aimon.
After the scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, 18th March (UTC), SEVENCORE allows players to join the battle with the petite but powerful new Aimon race in both English and Spanish servers.
The Aimon, once a peaceful race from the Eastern Continent, now stand ready to join the Grand Cross Alliance in the ever-escalating war against the Amaad. Spurred to assist their allies the Nuuk, who once saved them from a horrific extinction, these minute creatures often go underestimated against unsuspecting foes.
Special racial abilities allow the Aimon to increase the max energy of their mounts during travel, and while out of combat, 5% of their max health regenerates every five seconds, making them critical reinforcements in battle.
To celebrate the arrival of new Aimon race, the SEVENCORE team is organizing an Everyday Turtle Dungeon Event, which allows all players to enter Turtle Dungeon - a special dungeon which gives an abundance of EXP for a limited time - once a day from 18th through to 31st March, 2015(UTC).
In addition, a flying dragon mount, Drakan, will be available to buy on limited offer until the scheduled maintenance on 24th March 2015 (UTC).

SEVENCORE teases the new Aimon race in new video

Seoul, Korea, 13th March, 2015 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, announced today that the free-to-play MMORPG SEVENCORE has released a trailer for its upcoming race ‘Aimon’.

The Aimon are a peaceful race of humanoids from the Eastern Continent in SEVENCORE. These tiny little creatures are usually underestimated on the battlefield because of their size, but players shouldn’t be fooled by looks alone as their special racial abilities allow them to increase the energy of their mounts and even provide a health regeneration boost when not in battle.
Aimon’s racial passive skill allows them to recover 5% of their HP every 5 seconds when out of battle, and the 2nd passive gives it a 3% increases the energy of their mount.

Age of Wulin’s New Expansion “Chapter 4: Betrayal & Forgiveness” is LIVE

Seoul, Korea – March 10th, 2015 – WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, announces the martial arts MMORPG Age of Wulin released its third expansion today.
“Chapter 4: Betrayal & Forgiveness”, now available in English, brings exciting new features for players en masse! With the introduction of 6 new playable factions, players’ loyalty to their Sect will be put to the test; they could even choose to become a Vagrant, a warrior with no affiliation to any group of Jianghu. Brand new dynamic events offer rewards and glory, weather effects and a day/night cycle change the feel of the game world; starting today, the Jianghu is rejuvenated!
As the Secret Factions were revealed to the Age of Wulin community, with the Rootless Clan, Shifting Flower Palace and Peach Blossom Island, the remaining 3 factions, known as Jianghu Factions, were yet to be presented.
The first faction, Golden Needle Shen Family, is finding again its former glory after the death of their leader, killed by bandits. Revered by their peers and using a Golden Needle as a weapon, their effective healing and defense skills are valuable assets in combat.
Xu Family Village is a faction with strong beliefs in chivalry, and a profound sense of justice. Vanquishing evil and protecting the innocent, they are famous for their survival competencies, making them always useful for groups. Using a ruler as a weapon, they make devastating use of debuffs to cripple their targets.
Finally, the Beast Villa. Led by five brothers from the Shi family, they promote a life of harmony with the wildlife, which inspired their fighting style. Each of them harness the power of a different animal in their attacks, with their skills channelling the form, power and resilience of tigers and dragons.
“Chapter 4: Betrayal & Forgiveness” increases also the immersion in the world of Age of Wulin with the weather system and multiple dynamic events. The Jianghu now has a full night and day cycle, with many new weather effects, allowing new events to pit players against enemies and the elements at the same time. Protecting cities, saving injured civilians and escorting characters will be some of the missions to accomplish in order to receive rewards and glory.
To celebrate the expansion, the Age of Wulin team is offering FREE VIP Time for existing players and a small surprise for new players.

Age of Wulin Releases New Expansion on 10th March 2015

Seoul, Korea – 16th February, 2015 – WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, is delighted to announce that the martial arts MMORPG, Age of Wulin will release its third expansion on 10th March 2015.
Introducing new playable factions, a weather system, dynamic events and many other features, “Chapter 4: Betrayal & Forgiveness” will put the adventurers' allegiance to the test as they gain the opportunity to betray their peers for a new Faction, Sect or to become a Vagrant.
From 10th March, players will be able to abandon their Sects to either join one of the 6 playable Factions, one of the 7 remaining Great Sects, or go on their own path, free from rules and teachings to become a true vagabond. Adventurers will be allowed to choose their preferred way of leaving their current Sects in different ways, each with its own advantages and inconveniences: Betrayal, the quickest method to leave a Sect, but inflicting an important punishment to the character; Training Down the Mountain, where the player has to ask permission and survive subsequent attack to join one of the 6 new Factions; or Leaving in Disguise, inflicting the least punishment for leaving the Sect but with a difficult task for the player to fulfil in order to earn freedom.
Furthermore, the Age of Wulin team has already revealed the 3 of the 6 Secret Factions: the Rootless Clan, the Shifting Flower Palace and the Peach Blossom Island. Each of these Factions has its own story, characters and requirements to join its ranks. Should the player fulfil them, a range of unique skills and abilities specific to the Faction will become available.
The first Faction, the Rootless Clan, is a cabal of Eunuchs which has been amassing their wealth as tax collectors of the Empire. Reviled and feared, they use the Sword as weapon and their main skills take focus in leeching the life of their enemies.
The Shifting Flower Palace is a female-only Faction, well-versed in fine arts and surrounded by beauty. Although attracted by alluring settings, these warrior maidens are no less dangerous, as they seek revenge against the men who wronged them. Using a Ring as weapon, their skills are based on dodging attacks and crowd control.
The last Secret Faction revealed is Peach Blossom Island, a retreat for martial arts experts looking for isolation from the worldly matters, until their skills are needed again. Entering this idyllic land unannounced comes at a price, as strangers are killed without ceremony by a resident master. Using Flute and Sword as weapons, these fighters utilise music for their offensive and defensive skills.
