SEVENCORE Available Now on WEBZEN.COM

Seoul, Korea, 5th November 2014 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, has announced free-to-play MMORPG SEVENCORE is available now on its global game portal, WEBZEN.com.
Starting Tuesday, 4th November 2014, all players with active WEBZEN accounts will be able to access SEVENCORE. Players without a WEBZEN account can create one for free at: http://www.webzen.com
Additionally, SEVENCORE's previous provider, Route Entertainment Korea membership was merged into WEBZEN, so that previous players can easily access the game after a simple account transfer process.
After installing the game (available for free download on the official website: English game client - http://en.sevencore.webzen.com/Download/Client/ and Spanish game client - http://es.sevencore.webzen.com/Download/Client/ ), players will be able to choose between two available servers: English and Spanish, although there are plans for launching the service in other languages such as Portuguese, French, and German.
Players can initially select their characters from the range of 3 different races and 3 classes, each with their own racial abilities and skill sets. Unique combat abilities of mounts and weapons add another degree of strategy never seen in MMORPGs. SEVENCORE offers also incredible depth when it comes to character customization; from the initial look of your avatar to their armour, weapons, and even mounts.

From today through to 2nd December 2014, WEBZEN will be running a variety of events to celebrate the launch. All players can avail of 30% EXP Boost for free, allowing them to level up their characters really fast. In addition, every 2 levels, players will receive Level Up Boost Gifts helping them to reach the high level contents even faster.
During this period, those who play the game for 20 days or more will receive exclusive rewards, such as Launch Event Special Cape or a title to mark their contribution as the protectors of the world of SEVENCORE.

CONTINENT OF THE NINTH SEAL: Glenheim Redemption Content Update

Seoul, Korea, 4th November 2014 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, announced today C9: Glenheim Redemption - the newest content update for the dungeon-based MORPG, CONTINENT OF THE NINTH SEAL (C9).
After a scheduled maintenance on 4th November two event dungeons, new stage mode “Nightmare” and revamped balance patch are unleashed for C9 actionists.
Along with this update, players will be able to get an entry ticket from a special NPC -Raleigh in reward for completing the event quest. Players who collect the ticket should then speak to Armoni who will grant them access to the two event dungeons: Dimensional Fissure and Bang Turmoil, where skill books, Vacant Artisan Crystals and a range of rare items will be dropped from boss monsters.
Additionally, new “Nightmare” stage mode has been added to the 1st and 6th continents’ dungeons creating the most difficult mode available to players. A total of 5 modes will now be accessible in-game including Normal, Hard, Expert, Master, and Nightmare modes on 1st and 6th continents. Those who manage to hunt the hellish boss monster with tactical skill combos in the Nightmare mode will have a chance to acquire a variety of rare items and brand-new equipment.
The new update also brings balance revamp which will make stages difficulty in the 4th to 6th continents’ dungeons much easier. Thanks to higher EXP gain and reduced requirements to accomplish the quest, players will be able to level up faster, having also higher chance of receiving magic/rare items.

Age of Wulin Releases New Expansion on 25th November 2014

Seoul, South Korea – 3rd November, 2014 – WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, is delighted to announce that the martial arts MMORPG, Age of Wulin will release its second expansion on 25th November, officially ending the Open Beta Phase.
"Chapter3: Wisdom is a Journey" will be released in English and delivers a ton of exciting new features to the already expansive game, while also fundamentally revamping existing functions.
As of November, Age of Wulin players will benefit from two fundamental level cap enhancements, which each offer undiscovered heights for new and old players alike:
- Firstly, the character-specific strength cap will be increased by opening up the new, mysterious 4th Internal Skill of each of the 8 existing Sects, while also providing a greater level cap for non-Sect “Jianghu” Internal Skills.
- Secondly, the character-defining Sect skills will receive a critical upgrade; players will soon be able to perfect their martial art skills to the 8th and 9th levels.
On the path to these new heights, players will be able to test their newfound power in tougher, more challenging versions of existing dungeons, particularly the “Sect Forbidden Instances”. They can also bring their skills to the PvP arena, and take the opportunity to demonstrate their dominance in our two new PvP tournaments: The Dragon and Tiger Tournament & the Inter-Sect Tournament.
While the Inter-Sect Tournament focuses on Sect dominance by limiting the usable skills to only those available from your native Sect, the Dragon and Tiger Tournament is a more generic tournament with fewer restrictions. Both new competitions offer near-daily matches, leading up to weekend finals, with opportunities to win skill books and progression items along the way. Accompanying the Mount Hua Competition, our monthly in-game tournament, these two new functions bring Age of Wulin further up in the line of competitive PvP play.

ARCHLORD 2 Event:
WHAT: Help Poor Jack O’Lantern!
START DATE: October 21, 2014 (UTC)

DETAILS: Players will be tasked with retrieving Witch’s Pumpkin Cookies dropped from all instance dungeons and contested areas! After collecting fifty Witch’s Pumpkin Cookies, they can bring them back to ‘Jack O’ Lantern (an NPC located in each capital city) to receive Jack O’ Lantern’s Giftbox. Opening the giftbox will activate a trick or a treat, randomly granting players a buff or transforming them into a duck, calf, deer, dog or pig! The following buff effects can be obtained: Increased Max HP/MP, Weapon Mastery Boost, and Item Drop Rate Increase. WHAT: Login Event

DETAILS: Players can acquire Mysterious Pumpkin Seeds by logging in to the game daily (only once per day per character). After collecting seven Mysterious Pumpkin Seeds, they can be exchanged for one of three types of pumpkin hat rewards. As this is a repeatable quest, players can acquire all three kinds of Pumpkin hats if they log in every day for the runtime of the event. Those who combine 10 pieces of Dried Blood of Hellbehriths, 10 Tertis Claws and 1 Mix & Match Token with 1 Gear Part will acquire a giftbox containing a variety of random costumes for their character.

WHAT: The Lord of the Halloween: The Return of Jack-O-Lantern

DETAILS: Blood-thirsty monsters will be lurking in the dark corners of MU continent throughout October. Those who are courageous enough to hunt hellish creature Jack-O-Lantern, its accomplice Fire Flame Ghost and any other monster will collect Pumpkins they drop. Throw the Pumpkin on the floor to get special treats such as Jack-O-Lantern’s Scroll (Bless, Wrath or Cry), sustenance and a rare transformation ring that will change their character into a massive pumpkin!
Also, players who manage to defeat Fire Flame Ghost, will be rewarded with an additional random gifts such as Jewels, Zen or Excellent Grade items. Meanwhile, MU Online will soon welcome the new content update for Season 9 which is currently scheduled for the 11th of November. Produced by a developer NORIA, SEVENCORE is a free-to-play MMORPG with a mounted combat throughout the vast world of Inadar, a world that combines science fiction with fantasy elements.
