Archlord 2 Charges into Open Beta

July 8th, 2014, (Seoul, Korea) - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of online games, announces that the long-awaited Archlord 2 will enter Open Beta today.

Starting on Tuesday, July 8th, 2014, any player with an active WEBZEN account will be able to access Archlord 2 without a Beta key. Players without a WEBZEN account can create one for free at: http://www.webzen.com
After installing the game (available for free download on the official website at http://archlord2.webzen.com/Download), players will be prompted to log in using their WEBZEN account. For the Open Beta, the game launcher has been updated with a language selection option that allows players to set their game’s preferred language before they start.
The Open Beta will offer a choice of 4 servers, based on different regions and languages. To help players better understand the server structure of Archlord 2 and which server they should choose to get the most out of the game, WEBZEN has prepared a special announcement which can be viewed here:http://archlord2.webzen.com/news/all/7662/
Players can select between two different factions, with one race each. For the Open Beta, character progression will be capped at Level 41, and a good amount of new and updated content will be made accessible, including massive battleground events every evening, each day with different maps and objectives.

CONTINENT OF THE NINTH SEAL Announces a New Video with New Advanced Class – Erta

July 1st, 2014 (Seoul, Korea) - WEBZEN, a global leader in next-generation free-to-play games teases a brand new class, Erta, for the dungeon-based MORPG, CONTINENT OF THE NINTH SEAL (C9).

Starting Tuesday, July 8th, 2014 (UTC), C9 actionists will be able to access Erta, the newest advanced class for the Mystic.
Erta is an aerial juggler who excels at dealing damage with quick, powerful melee attacks. She’s also very mobile, able to deceive her enemies with lightning-fast dashes!
Erta mainly utilizes Stance Change and Teleport skills. She can execute powerful combos by switching between ranged and melee skills with Stance Change. Also, she can use Teleport and Link to move instantly for a trick attack on the enemy. Her primary weapon is the Chakram, a throwing weapon which is circular in shape, with a sharpened outer edge to slice through enemies.
CONTINENT OF THE NINTH SEAL (C9) takes players to the fantasy world of Glenheim, in which they fight against evil forces and gigantic monsters. Utilizing extremely powerful melee, ranged and magical skills, players will battle swarms of evil, demonic forces using FPS style controls in a huge, dungeon-based 3D world. Archlord II Closed Beta Test Starts Today

June 17 2014, (Seoul, Korea) - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of online games announces today that the Closed Beta test for the long awaited dynamic PvP MMO Archlord 2 is now available.
Starting today, players who redeemed their Archlord 2 CBT keys and received CBT access conformation can access the game. After downloading the client (available on the official website at http://archlord2.webzen.com/Download) and installing the game, users will have to login to the service using their WEBZEN account credentials, and after that they will be able to choose the server, start creating their in-game character and enjoy the game. To create a new WEBZEN account, potential players should visit the WEBZEN gaming portal at www.webzen.com
It is still possible to join the CBT phase, as access keys are still being distributed through WEBZEN’s media partners (see an overview here: http://archlord2.webzen.com/news/all/6563/are-you-still-looking-for-a-beta-key) and the official Archlord 2 Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/archlord2.
In the Closed Beta test, players will have access to a total of 5 servers, based on different regions and languages. They can select between two different factions with one race supporting each faction. Character progression will be capped at Level 30 and there will be a character wipe after the CBT ends. To provide an engaging and a largely unrestricted environment, Archlord 2 introduces an effectively classless character system that will allow players to adopt any role in combat, depending on the type of weapon a player uses.
There are four different weapon types in Archlord 2, reflecting the number of character archetypes or combat roles available to players. Equipping a weapon of a specific type will give players access to a set of skills that correspond to a specific archetype. Using weapons of a certain type will build proficiency with that weapon type and allow players to access additional passive and active skills.

WEBZEN launches Closed Beta Key Redemption page - Archlord II Closed Beta Testing starts in June 2014

Seoul, Korea – June 3rd, 2014 – WEBZEN, a global leader in next-generation free-to-play games is delighted to announce that Archlord 2, the upcoming dynamic PvP MMORPG will enter into Closed Beta in June 2014.
Starting today, all players who received keys may redeem them on the official website, http://archlord2.com. To do so, players should login to their WEBZEN account and follow the steps outlined on the website. New players can easily create a WEBZEN account on the global game portal www.webzen.com.
Although pre-registration has ended, it’s still possible for interested players to get a beta key through WEBZEN’s media partners and the official Archlord 2 Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/archlord2.
All keys will grant free access to the closed beta test. Amongst the first players to receive guaranteed beta keys are the true fans and committed Archlord 1 players.
CBT players will receive a special gift when the game goes into Open Beta, to mark their special status and as a token of appreciation for their support. As there won’t be any non-disclosure agreement, WEZBEN encourages all participants to share their Archlord 2 experience with friends and other players.
