'WEBZEN.com’ celebrates the 6th anniversary of its free-to-play game portal

Seoul, Korea, 7th April, 2015 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, launched its 6th anniversary game events today, celebrating 6 years of its global game portal ‘WEBZEN.com’.
Since 2009, WEBZEN.com has brought free-to-play online games to players worldwide. Celebrating its 6th anniversary, WEBZEN has expanded its service to Europe, North and South America, and other countries by operating its global game portal WEBZEN.com with 50 million players from all over the world.

A code is limited to only one WEBZEN game, including CONTINENT OF THE NINTH SEAL (C9), RAPPELZ, FLYFF, MU ONLINE, ARCHLORD 2, and SEVENCORE. MU ONLINE: Season X Part 1 & 2 teaser shows Grow Lancer

Seoul, Korea – 31st March, 2015 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, has announced Season X Part 1 & 2, the next expansion for full-3D MMORPG MU ONLINE.
A new class, the Grow Lancer, a brand new Asgard server, an increased level cap of 770, and many more features will be released in this new expansion, coming Tuesday, April 7th, 2015 (UTC).
Season X Part 1 & 2 will bring out a new class, the Grow Lancer, who is the third female classed introduced, the other two being Elf and Summoner. Grow Lancer is a melee class that uses a lance as her main weapon. Depending on the stats, Grow Lancers can have strong physical damage or elemental damage, making them diversely proficient in both hunting and PvP.

Season X Part 1 & 2 will take players to the 5th region of the Acheron continent, Nars, where players will be able to obtain a new type of Muun mount (Repen / Pawn / Grippus) and pentagrams dropped by the mighty boss, the Core Magriffy. In addition, Tormented Square (Battle) will be added. This map is a different version of Tormented Square (Survival of the fittest). Players can earn higher EXP and rare items from the Chaos Goblins that randomly appears in this area.
Newly added map, “event map square” is where you can find every NPC from existing event maps, such as Chaos Castle, Blood Castle, Devil Square, Illusion Temple, Doppelganger, and Fortress of Empire Guardians. This “event map square” will make it easier for players to register for most event maps. Moreover, players will be able to get the new Mastery Box, which contains a new currency “Ruud”, and various items from the event maps.
Once players collect Ruud from the Mastery Box obtained in event maps of the MU continent, they will be able to spend their Ruud at Priest James (Ruud Shop NPC) on items - even some brand new items released with Season X Part 1 &2. Ruud is stored in the inventory just like the other currency, Zen, but Ruud cannot be used in general stores and can only be used in the Ruud shop.

SEVENCORE Begins Applications for German/French Closed Beta Test

Seoul, Korea - 20th March, 2015 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, announced today that free-to-play MMORPG SEVENCORE has begun accepting applications for German/French closed beta test.
From today through to 25th March (UTC), players with a WEBZEN account can apply for the closed beta test of German/French language servers. Players will not lose their progress made during the test period, and will even receive a special closed beta tester’s cape as a reward.

SEVENCORE’s newest race, Aimon, released!

Seoul, Korea - 18th March, 2015 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, announced today that free-to-play MMORPG SEVENCORE has released its newest race, Aimon.
After the scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, 18th March (UTC), SEVENCORE allows players to join the battle with the petite but powerful new Aimon race in both English and Spanish servers.
The Aimon, once a peaceful race from the Eastern Continent, now stand ready to join the Grand Cross Alliance in the ever-escalating war against the Amaad. Spurred to assist their allies the Nuuk, who once saved them from a horrific extinction, these minute creatures often go underestimated against unsuspecting foes.
Special racial abilities allow the Aimon to increase the max energy of their mounts during travel, and while out of combat, 5% of their max health regenerates every five seconds, making them critical reinforcements in battle.
To celebrate the arrival of new Aimon race, the SEVENCORE team is organizing an Everyday Turtle Dungeon Event, which allows all players to enter Turtle Dungeon - a special dungeon which gives an abundance of EXP for a limited time - once a day from 18th through to 31st March, 2015(UTC).
In addition, a flying dragon mount, Drakan, will be available to buy on limited offer until the scheduled maintenance on 24th March 2015 (UTC).

SEVENCORE teases the new Aimon race in new video

Seoul, Korea, 13th March, 2015 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, announced today that the free-to-play MMORPG SEVENCORE has released a trailer for its upcoming race ‘Aimon’.

The Aimon are a peaceful race of humanoids from the Eastern Continent in SEVENCORE. These tiny little creatures are usually underestimated on the battlefield because of their size, but players shouldn’t be fooled by looks alone as their special racial abilities allow them to increase the energy of their mounts and even provide a health regeneration boost when not in battle.
Aimon’s racial passive skill allows them to recover 5% of their HP every 5 seconds when out of battle, and the 2nd passive gives it a 3% increases the energy of their mount.
