Flyff Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Skip Level Event

Seoul, Korea - December 23rd, 2015 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, has announced that manga-style MMORPG Flyff has launched its 10th anniversary game events, marking a decade of English service in North America.
Flyff has more than 30 million registered users worldwide. Given this impressive number, Flyff and its game community are among the most popular of their kind in the West.
Flyff US started its open beta on December 25th 10 years ago, and to mark this occasion, the game will be holding an anniversary bash with in-game events lasting until January 5th, 2016 (UTC).
To celebrate the 10th anniversary, the Flyff team has launched a skip level event that allows players to receive a free level boost for their characters. Players will be able to boost their characters directly to level 60 as well as getting them fully geared with weapons and armor, lasting until January 5th, 2016 (UTC). Both new players and those who have not played the game in a while should not miss this chance to catch up quickly.
In addition, players can get a 3x EXP increase during gameplay from December 25th through to December 28th. And just for the 10th anniversary on December 25th, players will receive 10x EXP for 10 minutes every hour. The 10-minute timeframe will be randomly chosen and cannot be predicted by players.

Elite Lord of Alliance’s First Expansion - Part 1 is Now Live

Seoul, Korea - December 22nd, 2015 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, today announced that its triple-action hack 'n' slash MMORPG ELOA: Elite Lord of Alliance released its first expansion - Part 1.
ELOA: Elite Lord of Alliance is an anime-inspired triple-action hack 'n' slash MMORPG, with classic action RPG elements and unique dynamic 3-combat-stance gameplay. Starting today, the first ELOA expansion introduces an increased level cap, new areas and challenges along with the arrival of an exciting new dungeon, the Spider Cave.
The first expansion patch adds a new map called the Crying Land consisting of eight fields shining red with the glow of lava, and introduces a new field boss named Fire Heart Fashim. Vanquishing enemies in the Crying Land will reward adventurers with rare items.
The level cap has increased from 35 to 40. With the rise in level cap, players can find new zones, quests, items and more to best fit their new power. Level 40 players can delve deeper into the lore of Epheia with the addition of Guntara's Hideout [Lv.40] and the Spider Cave. In comparison to other dungeons, players will fight with new enemies and defeat the most challenging monsters, such as Guntara and Spider Queen Ishiba, together with other players in teams for additional rewards.
Players adventuring in Guntara’s Hideout [Lv. 40] and the Spider Cave in normal mode will be able to get more gold and drop items from the Golden Boss who will be randomly appearing from today through to January 5th, 2016 (UTC).

WEBZEN Spreads Christmas Cheer with Festive Events and Update

Seoul, Korea - December 8th, 2015 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, is pleased to announce that multiple titles in its current line-up are celebrating Christmastime with special seasonal events, along with a brand new content update for ELOA.
From December 8th until December 29th, the entire WEBZEN.com portal will be celebrating the holiday season together with players. As part of the WEBZEN family, players are invited to enjoy fantastic events made just for this very special month of the year.
Christmas is a time of giving, and in line with this spirit, WEBZEN.com is kicking off a 3 week attendance check event for all players. Once players log in to the website and click the link on the event page, they will receive an Event Coin which will allow them to unwrap a gift, and be in with a chance to get some cool in-game items.
Each of WEBZEN’s games will be running in-game Christmas events to celebrate the holiday season with players.

ELOA: Elite Lord of Alliance Officially Launches on WEBZEN.com

Seoul, Korea - November 24th, 2015 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, today announced the official commercial release of its triple-action hack 'n' slash MMORPG ELOA: Elite Lord of Alliance, marking the end of the open beta phase.
ELOA: Elite Lord of Alliance is an anime-inspired triple-action hack 'n' slash MMORPG, with classic action RPG elements and unique dynamic 3-combat-stance gameplay. With a level cap of 30, players can choose between one of 5 playable classes among 4 races, fight in PvP battlefields, and venture into dungeons.
With ELOA’s official launch, an in-game shop has now been introduced. A variety of items will be available for purchase, including appearance-changing character costumes, HP/MP potions, wings and more.
To celebrate the official release, ELOA is holding a launch event where players will fill up a Monster Journal by defeating different types of monsters in the vast world of ELOA. Players that completely fill up the Monster Journal between November 24th and the weekly maintenance on December 8th, 2015 (UTC), will receive Claire's Chika Box, granting them a chance to acquire a unique pet.
In addition to this in-game event, the ELOA team will be running the ELOA Official Launch Gift Key Giveaway Event from today through to December 8th, 2015 (UTC). Players can visit any of WEBZEN’s media partners to obtain a special gift key. Keys are limited to only one per WEBZEN account, and each key will grant a free gift pack, which includes Server chat (light purple) x5 and Eva’s Survival Pack x1 (Eva’s Tear x5, Eva’s Authority x5, Eva’s Breath x3).
Furthermore, WEBZEN has unveiled plans for upcoming patches in December. Next month, players will be able to explore new areas and quests in conjunction with an increased level cap for characters, along with an entirely brand-new raid dungeon.

CONTINENT OF THE NINTH SEAL (C9) Update to Add New Dungeon, "Ancient Arena", and

Seoul, Korea - November 23rd, 2015 - WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, has announced that the dungeon-based MMORPG CONTINENT OF THE NINTH SEAL (C9) will unleash its latest update, Ancient Arena, tomorrow.
After the scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, November 24th, 2015 (UTC), the update will introduce a new competitive PvE dungeon, Ancient Arena, along with a PvP tournament system.
Characters with a level of 51 or higher will be able to delve into the Ancient Arena in the world of Glenheim, and attempt to defeat one monster (1v1) within two minutes per round, once a day.
To enter the Ancient Arena, players will need to talk to the Portal Mage with the invitation ticket, and click on “Enter Ancient Arena”. A different monster will be spawned each round, and the round will end when players defeat the monster, die, or the time limit ends.
After each season ends, players will receive various rewards, including brand new Growth Stones. These will enable players to increase their gear stats according to their rank while the season is in progress. A new season kicks off every two weeks.
In addition, PvP enthusiasts with a level of 45 or higher will be able to take part in a new 1v1 PvP tournament every Sunday, with winners gaining special Auspice and even more rewards.
Along with these new features, the update will introduce many improvements for the game, such as the Fishing Bait & Auspice Exchange System and the Hero Support Chest Rework.
The Hero Support Chest will contain over 8,000 Wcoin (80 USD) worth of new and useful items, such as highly enhanced weapons corresponding to a player’s class, Inventory Expansion Scrolls, Skill Reset Scrolls, Teleport Wings and more.
To celebrate the launch of this new update, the C9 team is organising a pre-season event offering additional Ancient Arena invitation tickets and rewards to all participants, as well as a level-up event for new players to quickly ascend to a higher level. The event will span from November 24th until the weekly maintenance on December 8th, 2015 (UTC).
