MU ORIGIN 2 5.0 Update - New Rune System is Out Today

WEBZEN released today the latest 5.0 update of its mobile MMORPG MU ORIGIN 2.
MU ORIGIN 2 brings a whole new system into its latest update, the Rune system, which offers a new equipment slot that enhances both attack and defense skills. The Rune feature is unlocked to the players who are over level 280, and it can be acquired either by defeating monsters in the Abyss or by drawing items.
In the 5.0 update, another new content called Summon Stigma was added to make players stronger. In order to summon Elemental Stigmas, players need Stigma points which can be earned at the Elemental Dungeon. Slay all Boss Monsters in the Elemental Dungeon to gain power.
Moreover, Season 21 of the Abyss begins today with new content updates. Abyss Altar content has been included, and warriors can now defeat Abyss Boss Monsters to seek treasures containing exclusive items. Also, the Elemental Elite Monsters are now in the Abyss world and they possess special items that can boost your elemental properties.
In addition, the Guild Battle in both World and Abyss map is renewed to provide players with even more fun. The battles are now done in a tournament format, so guilds can compete with each other with even more intensity than before. Join a guild to experience the renewed battles and earn special rewards.

MU Online Season 15 Part 2 Update - Crimson Flame’s Icarus Now Live

WEBZEN released today the latest Season 15 Part 2 update of its classic MMORPG MU Online.
The MU Online team has prepared special events in the Season 15 Part 2 update for players to enjoy. All players can receive amazing gifts just by playing MU Online. Play MU Online for more than an hour to receive Update Points, which can be saved up and exchanged for items such as the 14-day Guardian Elf Muun, Talisman of Ascension II, Scroll of Quickness, and more.
In addition, during the event period, the Lapidary Stone Ranking Event will be held in celebration of the renewal of the Illuminating Earring Box. Every time you open the Lapidary Stone Box, you will be given points which will be accumulated for the ranking event. Great prizes of earrings and Lapidary Stones will be given as rewards.
Alongside these update events, a new field “Crimson Flame’s Icarus” is included in the Season 15 Part 2 update, where it is full of elemental monsters underneath the flame. The monsters in the new field will drop Elemental Symbols, which can be collected to combine into Superior Pentagram and Mastery Parts. Players can also receive Elemental boxes by combining the Elemental Symbols. The special box is composed of Garuda's Flame, Lemuria's Orb, Sealed Bloodangel Armor, and much more.
Furthermore, even more exciting benefits await players at Crimson Flame’s Icarus. During the event period, one of the main materials for the 4th Wing combination, the Golden Crest, will be dropped at the new field. Defeat as many monsters as you can to enhance your wing. Also, extra EXP will be given and monster HP will be decreased in order to help players with enhancement.

MU Online Starts the New Year with New Season Pre-registration and Special Event

WEBZEN announced today the beginning of the pre-registration for Season 15 Part 2 and the New Year events for its classic MMORPG MU Online.
To celebrate the New Year, the MU Online team is preparing a Season 15 Part 2 update which will soon arrive on January 26th. The first update of the New Year will include plenty of new content, such as the new field Crimson Flame's Icarus and new items. All players can now pre-register for the new season update and claim rewards of 3-day Gold Channel Tickets and Bless of Light (Bound).
Also, players can receive boost item packages to help them become stronger, which are composed of Wizard’s Ring and Talisman of Ascension II for a day, and Bless of Light (Bound). Everyone who plays MU Online for an hour will be given a free gift during the event period, so do not miss this great chance to boost up your character.
More events are ready for Mutizens to enjoy in the New Year. During the event period, summon scrolls will be given when defeating the monsters on the MU continent. With the achieved summon scrolls, players will be able to summon up New Year cows to hunt and get various gifts.
The summon scrolls can be upgraded with Chaos Goblin Combination to achieve better items such as the Muun Egg, Lapidary Stone, Jewel of Chaos, Condor Feather, Blessed Decoration Ring, and much more. The summon scrolls event also includes the Premium Muun Egg as a reward, so participate in the event to obtain Muun of January.

WEBZEN announced that the annual Holiday Event for its global game portal “Webzen.com” begins today.
Webzen prepared a warm Holiday Event to bring Christmas cheer for the winter holiday. During the event period, everyone is welcomed to visit the Christmas market to receive Christmas gold. WEBZEN announces today the beginning of the Christmas Event of its mobile MMORPG MU ORIGIN 2 for the winter holiday.
Come and celebrate this White Christmas at MU ORIGIN 2 with events filled with gifts. During the Christmas season, players can enjoy a fun hunt to defeat event Bosses. The Bosses will drop Rudolph Horns, which can be exchanged for special items including Archangel Weapons, Gem Chests, and more. Participate in the Christmas hunt to receive great items.
On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, the Epic Guardian Pet Gift and Epic Accessory Chest will be given as Christmas gifts for the warriors.
