MU Online - New Character, Slayer Now Available in All Servers

WEBZEN released the second update of the latest Season 15: Part 1 today for the classic MMORPG, MU Online.
MU Online’s brand new character, the half-human half-bat Slayer, is finally available to play in all servers. Players will receive the Talisman of Ascension just by creating the Slayer during the event period.
Not only will there be a new character, but the update will also include the new map, Scorched Canyon. Various events will be available such as doubled drop rates for particular items and decreased monster HP for the ultimate demolishing experience.
Furthermore, the MU Online team has organized a special in-game event to add to the fun. During the event period, the mastery equipment, Bloodangel weapons and armors will not be destroyed when being upgraded from +9 to +11. Make sure to upgrade them as much as you can.
Last but far from the least, the official website will be holding three Roulette events: Goblin, Dimensional, and Play Time. Players can spin the roulette to earn Goblin Points and Play Time Points, for a chance to receive special prizes like Rare Item Tickets, Gold Channel Tickets (1 day), Ruud, and much more.
Also, the level cap will be increased to level 1200. Reaching a certain level will allow players to receive exclusive rewards. Shot Online Summer Splash Update Now Live

WEBZEN released the Summer Splash update of its classic Online MMO golf game Shot Online.
The Summer Splash update that will cool off the summer heat is ready for Shot Online golfers to enjoy. During the event period, the Shot Online official website will be running a fun event where players can throw dart items to pop water balloons. The more water balloons you pop, the more gifts you can get.
Players can receive the darts through participating in in-game events that the Shot Online team has organized, especially for the players. There are several ways to acquire darts. Players can open the Trophy for SOGA, join the Scavenger Hunt, and achieve 25,000 birdies in the Collaboration Event to earn darts. Darts can also be acquired daily through attendance, hole counts, mission events, and more.
Once you have popped all the water balloons on the board, you can always reset the board to keep popping more during the event period. Try to pop as many balloons for a chance to receive the Lucky Reset Rewards. They will be given to those who reset the board 5, 10, and 15 times. Plenty of events will be held in Shot Online this summer, so play the game and do not miss the chance to receive special gifts.
The date for the update varies based on the region; Updates will be ready in the EU on July 28th (CET), and the US on July 29th (PST). MU Origin Greets 4th Anniversary with Nobility System

WEBZEN released the latest 14.0 update and announced the upcoming 4th Anniversary of its mobile MMORPG MU Origin.
The 14.0 update mainly focuses on making the players even stronger. The new Nobility system enhances Reverse effects, which are unlocked after players reach Reverse level 30. The system has 9 Nobility Grades ranging from Novice to Emperor. As the player progress through each class, they can level up Nobility Skills to use against Nobility Bosses. Also, Nobility Equipment consisting of helmet, armor, gloves, and more will be included. Equip all parts of the Nobility Set to become even more powerful.
Based on the Nobility class, the Nobility Dungeon consisting of Bosses with different properties, can be unlocked. The players can participate either alone or as a party to enter the dungeon and to defeat the Bosses. Defeating the Bosses will reward players with various gifts. Furthermore, Diabolic Scrolls can be acquired in the dungeon, which can then be used to increase the level of Reverse Hero Nobility. After unlocking the content, heroes can also use special skills to stun the Nobility Boss.
Alongside the update, the MU Origin team organized a special event to celebrate the 4th Anniversary of MU Origin from July 25th to August 2nd. During the event period, every player will get the chance to acquire 4th Anniversary skins and items, including wing costumes, titles, footprints, and accessories. Additional rewards, enhancement events, and much more will be
prepared to thank the 6 million players worldwide.

Enjoy the Hot Summer with Webzen’s Annual Summer Event

WEBZEN announced today the start of the annual Summer Event of its global game portal Webzen.com during which online games MU Online, C9, Flyff and Rappelz will be holding plenty of events for players to enjoy.
Webzen will be hosting a water park theme event to make the Summer Event special. During the event period, all Webzen.com users are welcome to visit the official website to freshen up with delicious smoothies. Players can exchange smoothies for special rewards and visit the Webzen official Facebook page to earn different types of smoothies.
Additionally, Webzen games will be running individual in-game events. MU Online opened the new Speed Server last week, where special events are made available to users such as coupon giveaways, playtime events and the chance to try out the new character Slayer. Participate in the events to win Gold Channel Tickets (7 days), Blood Angel Boxes, +9 Divine Archangel Weapons (3 days) and much more.
During the event period, C9 will be holding an Insignia Collecting Event. Players can earn Insignia Boxes by clearing the dungeons in the continents. Insignias will appear randomly in the boxes and can be combined to make Decorated Insignia Chests filled with items such as Palladiums, Ores and Spellstones.
In Flyff, players can take part in the new Wedding Event by defeating monsters to get special quest items. Collect as many items as possible to complete the wedding fashion set and ring. In Rappelz, monsters will be dropping refreshing ice at designated locations during the event period. The ice can be exchanged for special boxes containing various items such as the Swimsuit Set, buff cards and more.
Alongside these events, Webzen will be running exciting events on its official Facebook page to give out gifts for the summer. One Quiz Event for each participating game and a “Farewell Code” giveaway event will be hosted on the Facebook page, giving players the opportunity to receive in-game items such as the Deva’s Blessing, Pride of Victory, Rune: Halloween Ghost Set Box, Talisman of Ascension II, Wizard's Ring, and Bless of Light. MU ORIGIN 2 4.0 Update - Elemental Update Now Live

WEBZEN released today the latest 4.0 update of its mobile MMORPG MU ORIGIN 2.
The main highlight of the latest update is the addition of Elemental features. The newly added Elemental Properties consist of earth, water, lightning, fire, and wind. Each property has attack or defense options, which makes your battles fierce. Players can enhance the Elemental Properties permanently by consuming Elemental Fruits.
The Elemental feature will also be updated in the Abyss World. The new Elemental Challenge is a raid system where players can either participate alone or as a party after reaching Master I level 31. Take the challenge to defeat the randomly appearing bosses in the Elemental Challenge to obtain points to get special rewards. Furthermore, players can acquire Oracle Dice through the Elemental Challenge, which provides the chance to win extra buff items.
Also, new features that can make players even more powerful will be added. The Guardian Pet Awakening system will bring great power and special effects for the players to enjoy. The awakened Guardian Pets have unique properties that are applied to the player's Elemental Properties. Also, Zodiac is a system where players equip Trace of Stars to become stronger. The system will be unlocked after players reach level 340 and complete the Rescue quest.
