Have a Holly Jolly Christmas with Shot Online

WEBZEN announced today that the classic Online MMO golf game Shot Online is celebrating the winter holiday season with a special Christmas Event.
The Shot Online team has prepared a Christmas Event to give players a jolly Holiday season. During the event period, Rudolph Hammers will be given to the golfers who participate in Cumulative Attendance, Daily Holecount, and Weekly Mission Events, Drop Boxes, Putting Mini Game, Holiday Surprise, and more in-game contents. With the Rudolph Hammers received, players can enhance their items through the Mini X-Mas Enhancement Game.
The Mini X-Mas Enhancement Game is an event held on the official website, and each item on the board can be enhanced up to +5 at maximum. After the item reaches its maximum level, a Christmas Gift will be given as a reward. Various items are packed in the Christmas Gifts, so play and collect as many as Rudolph Hammers as you can to not only enhance your items but also to earn plenty of gifts.
When enhancing the items on the board for the Mini X-Mas Enhancement Game, it is also possible that the enhancement may fail. However, even if you fail, do not be too disappointed because the Shot Online team has prepared Santa’s Encouragement gifts to spread warm Christmas cheer to everyone. Every time an enhancement fails, Rudolph’s tear drops will be given, and you can exchange them for gifts once enough tear drops are collected.

Black Friday Update Starts Today at CONTINENT OF THE NINTH SEAL

WEBZEN announced today the Black Friday update of its strategic action RPG CONTINENT OF THE NINTH SEAL (C9).
C9’s Black Friday update brings plenty of fun for players to enjoy. One of the contents included is the Chaos Arena, which is a new dungeon full of monsters that emerge infinitely from the demolished boundaries of the other world. Defeat as many monsters as possible in the dungeon to reach a certain score or rank and get weekly rewards of Akene Coins and Goddess’s Tears.
More events are ready in the Chaos Arena, where Boss monsters possess materials for a new accessory called Brooch. The materials earned by defeating the Bosses can be crafted into 3 types of Brooches: Dauntless Brooch, Volitive Brooch and Ardent Brooch. The new accessory will give extra energy on damage and defense to support players when buffing up for fierce battles.
Alongside the in-game events, the C9 team has also prepared a roulette event on the official website. There are 3 different types of roulettes - Free, Hernad, and Chaos - which present players with great prizes that can be won by simply spinning the roulette. Participate in the event to win the Transcendent Enhance Stone, Permanent P-Rare Skill Book Coupon, Goddess's Tears, and more.
Furthermore, spinning the roulettes will give players a chance to win more rewards. Each time the players spin the roulettes, ranking points are given. MU ORIGIN 2’s 4.2 Update Adds New Divine Object

WEBZEN released today the latest 4.2 update of its mobile MMORPG MU ORIGIN 2.
The main highlight of the latest update is the Divine Object, which will allow players to gain additional power to vanquish their foes. Enhance your energy by restoring the Divine Object using Zen, Divine Fragment and Essence material items. The new feature will be unlocked after reaching level 420.
In addition, the Shield Awakening feature has been included to increase your defensive power by leveling up the shield barrier of the Holy Shield. Players over level 350 will be given the chance to complete the “Land of Blood” quest. Once the quest is accomplished, the Shield Awakening content will be available for players to enhance their power to another level.
Alongside these updates, more newly added features will also be available in the Abyss World. A new content, Abyss Tower, will be ready for players to enjoy and acquire various items, including the Forgotten Key. With the acquired keys, players can progress on to the next floor for more items. Also, players will be able to participate in a new party dungeon, the Invasion of Elements, to earn even more special rewards.
Moreover, in the Abyss World, a new feature for the players to enjoy with their guild will be updated. At the Abyss Castle, players can enter with guildmates and earn rewards together by defeating the monsters. The Castle consists of 4 floors, with each floor having a Boss monster whose rewards will be given to the Guild that deals the most damage to the Boss.

MU Online’s New Mobile Application ‘MU Lite’ is Now Available

WEBZEN announced today the release of the new mobile application MU Lite for its classic MMORPG MU Online.
MU Online goes beyond its PC version with the release of MU Lite, which is a mobile application that offers a simple service: connecting PC version accounts to mobile devices. MU Lite provides an easy but fun gameplay experience for PC MU Online players, offering them a way to enjoy the game even more.
In MU Lite, a new feature called Infinity Tower will be available as a way for users to receive many special rewards. The feature is composed of several stages and players can receive multiple rewards by clearing each floor. The gifts received in MU Lite can be used on the PC version of the game to enhance your character. Various enhancement items will be given, so try to reach the highest floor of the tower to become the strongest of all.
To explore the Infinity Tower on MU Lite, players whose characters are over level 400 should possess the Exploration Key, which is an entrance ticket to the tower. Players can easily obtain Exploration Keys by defeating monsters that are over level 90 on the PC version of MU Online. Kill the monsters and earn as many Exploration Keys as you can to enjoy the new service.
Along with the launch of the new mobile application MU Lite, plenty of events were organized to celebrate the release. During the event period, Exploration Keys will be given to everyone, every day at 9:00 (UTC), to encourage players to try out the MU Lite application. Also, the MU Lite Ranking Event will offer users a chance to receive various rewards such as skins, wings, and many more. The higher the points received in the ranking, the greater the prizes given will be.

Go Trick-or-Treating at Webzen’s Spooky Halloween Mansion

WEBZEN announced today that its global game portal Webzen.com is hosting a Halloween Event.
Webzen will be opening a spooky mysterious mansion to celebrate Halloween. During the event period, all guests are welcome to come to the mansion for trick-or-treating and receive special candies as treats. Collected candies can be exchanged for rewards and even more treats can be received by visiting Webzen’s official Facebook page.
On Webzen’s official Facebook page, plenty of Halloween-themed events will be ready for players to enjoy. Special treats such as a giveaway code and the opportunity to win special in-game items for C9 and MU Online will be offered. Also, players can participate in the Share Event to earn Wcoins that can be used to purchase even more valuable gifts.
In addition, during the Halloween event period, MU Online will be running the EXP BOOOOST Event, which will help players boost up their characters’ strength even more by giving them extra 30% EXP and decreasing Monster HP by 20%. Moreover, the Mystic Gift Box Event will offer players the chance to open Gift Boxes containing varying amounts of Goblin Points.
