MU Origin Introduces Genesis War in its 13.0 Update

WEBZEN released the latest 13.0 update of its mobile MMORPG MU Origin.
In the new update, MU Origin will be presenting warriors with a new survival feature, Genesis War. Players over Reverse level 30 can experience the real-time PvP content, which consists of five floors. On each floor, you can fight and kill other players to earn points. Players will be able to move onto the next floor once they reach the designated kill count on each floor. The more you survive, the more you will be rewarded with special and exclusive gifts.
Additionally, try out Ruins Assault, the new guild content, to be the strongest of all. Guilds higher than level 3 can enter to defeat the bosses on each floor. In order to advance to the next floor, be the top guild that has made the most damage to the Ruins Assault boss. The damage given to the boss will be accumulated, and the guild that has earned the highest damage point will be the final winner.
Following these updates, various features have been included to make your character stronger. First, by surviving the Genesis War, players can acquire seal items to enhance their mount. The Mount Seals are composed of five types of Reverse Seals: Light, Dark, Nature, Spirit, and Chaos, so level up these seals to strengthen your character. Second, receive Hero Runes by participating in the Ruins Assault. Using Hero Runes will support your Hero to grow stronger.
In addition, a new clan-based battle content, Dark Cave, will be updated. Dark Cave will be held on a seasonal basis, where participants can receive daily and seasonal rewards with Clan Points that are earned through battles. Be aware that Clan Points can also be deducted by losing battles, so try your best to defeat the competitor as much as you can.

Webzen Celebrates the 11th Anniversary of Webzen.com

WEBZEN announced today the 11th Anniversary celebration of its global game portal, Webzen.com. To make the celebration meaningful, plenty of exciting events await players for the online games - MU Online, C9, Flyff, and Rappelz.
Webzen will be holding an amusement park event to celebrate the 11th Anniversary festival. During the event period, all players are welcome to visit the official website to enjoy the festival by collecting W-Steps. After acquiring steps, players can try out five different rides from the amusement park which gives out special gifts. To earn more W-Steps, players are encouraged to visit the official Facebook page and log into one of Webzen’s participating games.
In addition, all Webzen games are hosting their own in-game events to celebrate the 11th Anniversary. MU Online players will have the chance to boost the levelling up of their character on the Speed Arcadia server again. As the server reopens, players can participate in a giveaway event which will reward players with Gold Channel Ticket 7 days, Blood Angel Box, +9 Divine Archangel Weapon, and more for free. Also, as players reach certain levels, they will be rewarded with special items.
C9 will also be running various events to celebrate the anniversary festival. During the event period, players can receive extra EXP, collect Soulshards to unlock the Whisperer, and explore the four event dungeons: Bang Turmoil, Dimensional Fissure, Archery, and Evil's Hideout.
Flyff players can participate in an event to collect Easter Eggs from defeating monsters over level 15. For each 100 eggs earned, players can exchange 1 Egg Basket, which contains different kinds of items to enhance gameplay.
In Rappelz, the Devildom Purge event will be held during the anniversary event period. Players will have +10% enchantment bonus and receive coupons every hour they play the game, which can be traded into high enchanted gears. Furthermore, players can enjoy the Easter Egg event to receive extra buff items.
To continue with the festive mood, Webzen will be running fun events on its official Facebook page. A share event, a quiz for each participating game, and a one-for-all giveaway are ready for players to join as they can receive in-game items such as the Deva’s Blessing, Pride of Victory, Rune: Halloween Ghost Set Box, Talisman of Ascension II, Wizard's Ring, and Bless of Light. Moreover, players will have a chance to win Wcoin, the virtual currency used for purchasing in-game items, in the share event. Shot Online Announces the RE-NEW Update

WEBZEN released the RE-NEW update of its classic Online MMO golf game Shot Online.
The main highlight of this update is the newly added Golf Club content. It is a new feature which allows players over level 190 to receive extra benefits. Players can enjoy co-player rounding with the Rounding Acquaintance system to earn A-points, which can be used to combine items. In addition, Golf Club provides a training system where players can manage their characters. Players will be rewarded with various items once the training is successfully completed.
To celebrate the new update, special events have been organized by the Shot Online team. During the event period, a 20% EXP bonus will be given to players so they can quickly level up in order to unlock the Golf Club content faster. After unlocking this new feature, players can receive gifts such as One Point Lesson Ticket +500, Artifact Pouch, Blessed Legend Craft Hammer, and more just by posting a screenshot of the content on the forum and leveling up in the Golf Club.
Along with this update, several renewals have been made to enhance gameplay. New golf courses, Dino Park and Volcano, have been added to the Miniature Mode. The update also provides new items and optimizations on physics issues, object transparency, and more. Moreover, in-game content like the NPC Shop, Item Mall, Course Drop Box, and Item Recipe System have been renewed.

Webzen Launches the Official Website and Twitter of ‘Manasis Refrain’

WEBZEN announced the opening of the official website and Twitter page of its upcoming mobile adventure-packed RPG Manasis Refrain.
The publisher Webzen and the developer Inutan are currently preparing to launch Manasis Refrain. It will be launching in Japan first and be published by Webzen Japan. Manasis Refrain is a mobile adventure-packed RPG, which contains stories filled with adventure and great excitement of participating in battles with diverse characters. To share all of the special news and information about the upcoming title, the official website and Twitter page opened to all players.
Through the official website, information such as the game’s storyline, characters, and the gameplay map will be available for players to dive into. Manasis Refrain’s adventure will begin with an invitation from Theodoric Academy in Hakoniwashima Island. As players reach the island, they will have the chance to train in academies, meet different kinds of characters, and explore the exciting journey.
With the opening of the official website and Twitter page, three characters, Mildred, Seraphina, and Gilberta will be introduced. MU ORIGIN 2 3.0 Update Adds New Wedding Content

WEBZEN released today the latest 3.0 update of its mobile MMORPG MU ORIGIN 2.
MU ORIGIN 2’s most notable update feature is the Wedding content. A player who possesses a wedding ring can request a proposal, and if it is accepted, the two characters are married. After getting married, the couples will receive a wedding ring buff, which can be enhanced by using Shard of Fate and Golden Rose. Also, they will be given a one-time chance to host a feast where they can acquire EXP and roses.
Many other special features await players who have reached the Master II level. The Divinity system will be open for players to unleash the Awakening Status, which will activate a powerful buff that lasts for a minute. Players can enhance the system by using the Awakening Shard and Zen to level it up. These items can be acquired as rewards for clearing stages in the Divine Trial event. It is composed of 10 stages, so try to defeat all the bosses in each stage to earn the items.
Along with these features, it is now possible to make equipment stronger with the new Equipment Awakening feature, which will unlock after completing the Devil Ring quest. In order to awaken the equipment, players can use jewels, Immortal Essence, and Zen on equipment above tier 7 with +15 enhancement. Once the equipment is awakened, the basic properties will be improved and allow players to enhance the equipment even more.
Furthermore, the highest floor of the Infinite Tower has been increased, the Abyss Season 9 has started, and new items have been added in the Diamond and Guild shop.
