New English FLYFF Server Coming on 6th of December!

WEBZEN has announced the opening of "Meteonyker", a new European server for manga & anime MMO game FLYFF ? Fly For Fun.
FLYFF is a high-flying fantasy RPG with over 60 million registered accounts worldwide. Meteonyker will be the second FLYFF European server for English speakers after the launch of Clockworks two years ago.
FLYFF players were introduced to a new European server in late 2014, when Clockworks was announced for the first time. English-speaking players finally had their own dedicated server, and many switched from the US server for a more time-friendly and smooth experience.
Clockworks (which is celebrating its anniversary next Friday, 2nd of December) was a huge success, attracting players from all over the world. Players will now have one more choice on their server selection screen!
The name of the new server comes from the final boss of the recently introduced Rhisis' Trail dungeon, who is currently the highest-level boss in the game. Further details on the Meteonyker server will be announced soon.
WEBZEN also takes this opportunity to announce the postponement of the anticipated US and German server merges to early 2017. This is not related to the launch of the Meteonyker server, and is mainly due to technical issues encountered in the QA phase of the project.

MU ORIGIN Brings The Magic Knight Class in New Update

WEBZEN today released the latest major content patch for its real-time mobile MMORPG, MU Origin.
The patch introduces its newest class, the Magic Knight, to join the fray as the fourth class in the game. Unlike the other classes, the Magic Knight is a genius proficient with both Sword and Magic, endowed with a multitude of skills based on the skills of the Dark Wizard and the Dark Knight. He also possesses the ability to choose a path and specialize between wielding mighty combat arts and powerful magics.
With the arrival of the Magic Knight comes major additions to features recently introduced to the game. The Pet Synergy System allows a Warrior to draw strength from multiple pets at once, with rare combinations granting new buffs such as Double Damage Chance and major boons to current stats. Pets now have the ability to provide Special Buffs based on the pet’s total level. Aside from Pet Synergy and Special Buffs, Warriors can now upgrade their Wings with special feathers, adding a new layer of customization that allows players to upgrade their wings further than before.
The Achievement Rune and Fame Trophy Systems also comes with the Magic Knight Update, bringing a level of progression that allows players to enhance their character’s stats with Achievements from PvE and Fame from PvP content. With both additions to the Fame and Achievement system, a new statue will also be available in town called, “Statue of the Lorencia Ruler”, where the designated winner of the Loren Castle Siege will be displayed.
New areas also is now available, such as the Swamp of Peace and a new Story Dungeon called Devil’s Hatchery. Both areas contain powerful monsters to provide a greater challenge for high level players.

Meanwhile, current and returning players can receive the Magic Knight Update Gift upon logging into the game starting from November 24, 2016 (UTC). The Update Gift contains a variety of items designed to help the players with the new content that comes with the Magic Knight Update.

MU Season 11 Part 2 Update Is Coming Tomorrow

WEBZEN announced that the full-3D MMORPG MU Online will release its newest content update, MU Season 11 Part 2 tomorrow.
After the scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, 22nd of November, 2016 (UTC), MU Season 11 Part 2 will be deployed. Full details will be available here: http://muonline.webzen.com/
MU Season 11 Part 2 will allow players to discover new and even more powerful socket items for Rage Fighter and Grow Lancer. With Socket System Expansion, Seed Spheres will be upgraded from 4 up to level 10, so that players can create a Seed Sphere with Strength, Agility, and Energy stat options.
This update also includes the addition of new normal and rare pentagrams with special values. Existing pentagrams and the pentagram for beginners will be improved as well.
Furthermore, MU Season 11 Part 2 introduces many improvements to the game, including a character zoom-in function, a new mini-game while auto-hunting, and a new feature to enable players to track their Hunting Log through MU Helper.
From November 22nd through to the weekly maintenance on December 6th, 2016 (UTC), the MU Online team will be celebrating the arrival of MU Season 11 Part 2 along with many events, including Bomb Mini-game Ranking Event, Roulette, Returning Users Free Package Event, and EXP & Ruud Event.

Webzen ‘G-Star 2016’ Welcomes Their Global Audience with Hands-on Experience

WEBZEN will be inviting all gamers to its exhibition booth for ‘G-Star 2016’. Webzen will be presenting two new projects: MU Legends and Azera: Iron heart.
From November 17, 2016, Webzen is showing one mobile and one pc game through hands-on experience settings they have created in their booth.
Webzen’s B2C exhibition area presents MU Legend, coming in the first quarter 2017 and Azera: Iron Heart, launching in final quarter of 2016. Visitors will be able to test out new games, see 2-meter tall character figure, 3D panoramic trailer and many more.
First, exhibition area for PC online game ‘MU Legend’ has a theatrical 3D panoramic screen installed for the visitors to enjoy Webzen’s G-star exclusive game trailer. There will be multiple events and giveaways, giving out high end graphic cards and other quality ‘MU Legend’ gifts.
In the play test area for ‘MU Legend,’ visitors will be able to experience the game themselves. With the Official version, players will be able to revisit popular nostalgic dungeons such as ‘Blood Castle’ as well as new key content ‘Epic Dungeon.’
Exhibition for mobile game ‘Azera: Iron Heart’ contains ‘Trick Art’ sculpture and a large ‘Titan’ model. In the game play area, there will be a cinematic trailer and a gameplay demo for visitors to experience the pinnacle of 3D mobile gaming. PvP (player versus player) section is also prepared for users to experience Azera’s real time PvP experience.
Also, Webzen has prepared cosplay of main characters in ‘MU Legend’ and ‘Azera: Iron Heart.’ In both exhibition area, popular racing models dressed up and cosplay to join the fun.
Webzen launched its IP derivative contents and merchandise brand - "Club Webzen" week ago. Webzen branded T-shirt, cell phone case and MU Legend Art book could be seen at "W-store" in its B2C booth.
MU Legend Artbook archives more than 3,000 original artworks within its 200 plus pages. It contains origins stories of main characters as well as NPCs and item artworks. The book entails details of major continents and weapons to see the world of ‘MU Legend’ first hand. Limited-edition MU Legend Artbook sold out within one day of its sale in Korea.

WEBZEN to showcase newest online, mobile games at G-Star 2016

WEBZEN held a press conference in the morning of October 26th in Seoul to share the plan for the global game exhibition 'G-STAR 2016'.
With G-Star 2016 preview conference, upcoming PC online game ‘MU LEGEND’ and mobile game ‘AZERA: IRON HEART’ were announced in its line-up of G-Star 2016. WEBZEN has unveiled today its plans for the show and future schedules.

WEBZEN is currently setting up its exhibition booths for the G-Star game show to showcase the newest online and mobile games. G-Star is a global game exhibition event which will be held in Busan BEXCO in Korea for four days beginning November 17.
Developed by Korean developer Timber Games, AZERA: IRON HEART is a mobile MMORPG like no other, combined with the thrilling and immersive storyline and Hack ‘n’ Slash action. WEBZEN will showcase AZERA: IRON HEART demo for the first time which demonstrates the film quality 3D cinematics, massive PvP contests, a real time competitive gameplay at G-Star 2016. The Closed Beta is set to begin in December 2016, South Korea, and the official launch will follow afterwards.
WEBZEN is also gearing up for more public hands-on demonstrations and will be showing a brand-new cinematic trailer of the upcoming PC online game MU LEGEND. MU LEGEND is the upcoming Hack ‘n’ Slash MMO and the long awaited follow-up to the popular MU Online.
