MU ORIGIN was ranked Top 7 in the U.S. App Store's Top Grossing Role Playing Gam

WEBZEN today announced that the real-time mobile MMORPG, MU Origin was ranked first-ever Top 7 in the U.S. App Store’s Top Grossing Role Playing Games category, and Top 38 in the U.S. App Store’s Top Grossing Games category. (22nd September, 2016)
MU Origin is a stunning real-time mobile MMORPG, featuring fast paced easy levelling, endless levels and contents. More than 1 million players in Europe, North and South America have already downloaded the game. MU Origin is available for a free download on the App Store for iPhone and iPad and Google Play for Android devices.
Since MU Origin officially launched in Korea, April 2015, MU Origin still has a significant number of registered players, with more than 120 million accounts in China, and more than 6 million downloads in Korea.
WEBZEN brought MU Origin to Western markets on July 28, 2016, and released the first content update on the 20th of September. A recent update for MU Origin has resulted in the recent surge of people from Europe, North and South America downloading, which means MU Origin could pioneer a mobile game market for a real-time mobile MMORPG.
Two days later, MU Origin was ranked Top 38 in the U.S. App Store’s Top Grossing Games category, and Top 7 in the U.S. App Store’s Top Grossing RPG category. The game was in Top 37 in UK App Store’s Top Grossing Games category, and Top 9 in the UK App Store’s Top Grossing RPG category.
MU Origin also resulted in Top 4 highest- grossing games in Brazil App Store and Top 20 highest- grossing games in Brazil Google Play. In addition to those countries, MU Origin became Top 17 highest-grossing game in Poland App Store and Top 21 in Poland Google Play.
With the latest update, all players will be able to experience a wealth of new content as a huge update for the mobile game. With this update, players can battle rival guilds and win rewards in a real-time GvG battle titled Loren Castle Siege. In addition to the guild battle, players can join more guild activities such as Guild Bosses and access to the Guild Shop. A new party dungeon ‘Labyrinth of Dimensions’ is also available for players to slay the death beholder together.
The update patch also includes several upgrades for Pet System and Aether System. Players will be able to summon various pets to aid you in their battles. With the power of their pet, they can utilize the power of insignias to enhance their character's strength further.
To celebrate the first content update, the MU Origin team will be running a week-long special event to give away a special gift, free Epic Pet Ticket and daily login rewards.

MU ORIGIN RECEIVES FIRST MAJOR CONTENT UPDATE TODAY

WEBZEN, today released the first content update for its real-time mobile MMORPG, MU Origin.
MU Origin is a stunning real-time mobile MMORPG, featuring fast paced easy levelling, endless levels and contents. The first content update was delivered to the MU Origin community bringing many new features, including the first Guild vs Guild content - Loren Castle Siege, a new party dungeon - Labyrinth of Dimensions, all-new pet system, Aether system and much more.
With this update, players can battle rival guilds and win rewards in a real-time GvG battle titled Loren Castle Siege. In addition to the guild battle, players can join more guild activities such as Guild Bosses and access to the Guild Shop. A new party dungeon ‘Labyrinth of Dimensions’ is also available for players to slay the death beholder together.
The update patch also includes several upgrades for Pet System and Aether System. Players will be able to summon various pets to aid you in their battles. With the power of their pet, they can utilize the power of insignias to enhance their character's strength further.
The update increases the game’s level cap, and characters now can continue their ascension to greatness. The maximum Rebirth and Level has been increased to Rebirth 8 and Level 100.
With the arrival of the first update, the MU Origin team will be running a week-long special event. A FREE Epic Pet Ticket will also be given to everybody on the week of the update.

MU LEGEND's first global closed beta coming later this year

WEBZEN has announced the first global closed beta for its upcoming hack 'n' slash MMO MU LEGEND. The first global CBT is set to begin in fall 2016.
MU LEGEND, a dark-fantasy action MMORPG, is the highly anticipated follow-up to MU Online. It features fluid and stunning hack 'n' slash combat, content that caters to both solo and party play, and a deep and intriguing world that will satisfy new players and fans alike. Utilizing Unreal Engine 3, MU LEGEND displays spectacular visuals, detailed art design and stunning effects that will run even on lower-end systems.
Additionally, WEBZEN has today opened MU LEGEND's global Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/MULegendGlobal/, providing players with an official source of information regarding the global release. The page will also share impressions and insights regarding the second Korean CBT which began today, such as livestreams with English commentary and updates on the overall Korean development progress. WEBZEN encourages interested players to like the MU LEGEND Facebook page in order to stay updated on any important news, such as pre-registration information or details about release dates.
While WEBZEN plans to run a second global test in early 2017, it has also confirmed plans to work on additional localizations of the game (French, German, Brazilian-Portuguese, Spanish and Polish) in order to satisfy the high expectations of its global communities after the two global tests.

FLYFF's newest expansion "Turning Point Part 1" is now live in Europe and North

WEBZEN has announced that the latest expansion for the manga & anime MMORPG FLYFF ? Fly For Fun, titled Turning Point Part 1, has successfully been released on European and North American servers today. Players across the world can now finally enjoy the content in English, French and German.
FLYFF is a high-flying fantasy RPG with over 60 million registered accounts worldwide. With this expansion, FLYFF offers players an increased level cap of 155. Existing, returning and new players alike can now join the epic race to reach even higher levels in FLYFF.
A brand-new dungeon, Rhisis' Trail, is now also available. Players will be able to gather their strength, their equipment and their allies and prepare to take on new enemies. This challenging new dungeon for high-level players will help those in their race to level 155.
The expansion also introduces a reworked card upgrade system. A new level of cards will be released, helping players worldwide to become stronger than ever before.
The Western release is being celebrated with a permanent price reduction in the premium shop for North American players, and will be followed by the highly anticipated server merges soon after.
A "Cute Invasion" launch event also starts today, kicking off a month of non-stop events.
