《奇蹟MU：大天使》 (a.k.a. MU Archangel 2) to land in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Mac

WEBZEN has launched the official website of its new mobile MMORPG named《奇蹟MU：大天使, also known as MU Archangel 2 in South Korea, for Taiwan, while also enabling pre-registration.
Starting from today, players can sign up for the game on the official website: https://mua.webzen.com.tw/#preregister, and receive a variety of rewards upon the release.
Pre-registration is also available now on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Those who pre-register will receive in-game bonus items and an exclusive event title once the game comes out. 《奇蹟MU：大天使》is a mobile MMORPG that provides classic MU-based elements that fans of the franchise all know and love, including the original characters, content and user interface, while also adding the differentiated element of a group character growth system.
The group character growth system featured in the game allows players to simultaneously play with three characters - Dark Knight, Dark Wizard, and Elf. When all skills and traits are combined, there are more than 50 combinations players can put together and they must find the optimal combination depending on the situation.

Following the launch of MU Archangel 2 in South Korea in September 2021, WEBZEN plans to expand its presence in the global market, beginning with Taiwan. The launch in Taiwan is scheduled for the second quarter of 2022.

WEBZEN introduces the first update “Valley of the Dragonkin” for its PC MMORPG

WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of PC and mobile games, announced that its PC MMORPG ‘SUN Classic’ has gone through its first content update.
After the maintenance on March 31st, a new area called “Valley of the Dragonkin”, as well as new high-level dungeon named "Trial of Water”, a level cap increase, 4th Equipment as well as other various content has been added to the game.
The main feature of this update is the “Valley of the Dragonkin”, a new area brimming with volcanos and lava. This is the fourth area that can be accessed in ‘SUN Classic’, and 5 fields, as well as the ‘Dragon Knights Captain’ Final Boss raid has been added to the game along with this content. In the newly added fields and dungeons, you can acquire various items, including new equipment and wing materials, such as the 4th weapon and armor.
Additionally, the ‘Trial of Water’ Tower, a high-level dungeon of the Cursed Tower, which can be entered starting from level 60, has also been added to the game.
Finally, the maximum level has been increased from Lv. 60 to Lv. 80. To commemorate the level cap increase, the 4th enhancement of main equipment such as weapons, armor, necklaces, and special accessory materials is also now available.
Along with the first update, several commemorative events are also awaiting SUN Classic players.
Firstly, during the “AC Event”, which will be in progress until April 13th, the amount of EXP gained increases by 30% at a certain time every day, and additional rewards are given according to the number of times each dungeon is cleared. Additionally, the ‘80 Level Achievement Reward Event’ will also be held until April 28.
SUN Classic is available to download and install through a game client which can be found in the official global game portal 'Webzen.com', and directly accessed using a Webzen.com account. Multilingual services are also provided in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and English so that users from different countries can enjoy the game simultaneously in their native language. After that, WEBZEN plans to gradually expand the scope of localization for the official launch in other countries and languages.

WEBZEN welcomes the official new SEA server for MU Online

WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of PC and mobile games, has announced that its classic PC MMORPG MU Online welcomes new Southeast Asia members along with opening transfers to the new SEA servers.
MU Online’s publishing service for Southeast Asian regions has been transferred to WEBZEN from the previous Asiasoft since March 22. Players in this region will have a dedicated community and support staff, as well as events, contests and tournaments managed via the global game portal ‘Webzen.com’ from now on.
To accommodate our new family members, WEBZEN now opens the new SEA servers - Noatun and Jotunheim. Previous MU SEA users will be able to apply for game data transfer including their characters, equipment, in-game currency, and items to the new servers until June 21st. Upon completing the transfer, their original data from MU-SEA will be transferred to their new Webzen account, which will allow them to play right away from where they stopped. Along with this service transition, the MU Online team is running celebration events to welcome our new family and give away gifts and goodies to players who complete their migration until April 12. Once previous SEA players complete their data transfer during the event period, they will receive free rewards such as Perishing Wing Box, Gold Channel Ticket and Scroll Package.
Players will be able to collect various types of the Elemental Symbols (Fire/Water/Earth/Wind/Darkness) from the elemental monsters in the Temple of Arnil and Gray Aida to combine them into Superior Pentagram and Mastery Parts.
During the event period, Chaos Castle, Blood Castle, and Devil Square rewards are doubled. Also, the Guardian Upgrade Stones which can be acquired from NPC Moss have doubled drop rate. Additionally, the Mastery Equipment/Pentagram Enhancement Event, the Jewel of Harmony Refinement Event and the 300-hours playtime Event are ready for all newcomers.
In addition to the events above, 30% EXP boost, 20% monster HP decrease and free gifts such as Gold Channel Ticket, Talisman of Ascenion, Pet Skeleton and more will be awarded to all players, including original MU Global users.
In the game shop, a variety of special offers including Booster Box & BOL, Welcoming Package, and Buff & Scroll Package are also awaiting players looking for the best deals.

WEBZEN Launches Global Service for PC MMORPG ‘SUN Classic’

WEBZEN announced that its PC MMORPG ‘SUN Classic’ launched in Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea on March 10th.

SUN Classic is a free-to-play, massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that immerses players in the most familiar and classic experience of ‘Soul of the Ultimate Nation’ which was developed and published in 2006.
SUN Classic includes epic content such as Story Dungeon, Mission Dungeon, Guild Dungeon, AC System, PK System and much more, which are all build up from the long-term publishing experience of the original version.
In addition, SUN Classic offers a fresh start to players along with various automated functions and convenience systems for a smooth progression experience, as well as optimizations for graphics, UI and UX. With this initial launch, SUN Classic will first be available in 4 languages ? Simplified or traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and English for users in Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea. WEBZEN then plans to expand its service to Southeast Asia and other regions.
To celebrate the global launch, the SUN Classic team is running AC Launching Events including the Daily Check-In Event, the Level Up Event, and the AC Challenge Event before maintenance on April 7th.
The AC (Area Conquest) System is one of the core features that rewards users as they complete various missions. Unlike the familiar quest system, every action taken by players will be counted and rewarded.
Players who complete their check-in in the game for 7 and 14 days will earn special rewards such as the Evolution Stone and an event exclusive title: The Pioneer. Also, the Level UP Event offers players who reach certain mission levels with level up perks on the AC system. Additionally, players will receive spectacular rewards after completing the 10 missions.

MU ORIGIN 2 introduces new Grow Lancer class in latest update

WEBZEN announced that its mobile MMORPG MU ORIGIN 2 received the latest 7.0 update which adds a brand-new Grow Lancer class to the game on iOS and Android platforms.
Grow Lancer is a new female close-range melee attacker that defeats enemies with a spear and shield to uphold the honor of the Imperial Order. Especially, her special skills are very useful for both PVP battles and hunting monsters.
The newly added Archangel Refinement allows players to refine their Archangel Weapons for increased attack and defense properties.
The content update also features a new Artifact Awakening system that allows players to upgrade their character’s power with their awakened artifact.
Additionally, the newly added Immortal Seal Stone will help players increase the power of their Immortal with the Immortal Seal Stones and unleash enhanced elemental attacks.
A new Tarot Card feature has been added to the game. Players now can collect Tarot Cards that contain the mystical powers of the Abyss to gain the powers of the old gods.
Meanwhile, the new Abyss Season 41 has just started along with this new update, giving players a new mission to collect Abyss Coins and the new Abyss Blood Coins to exchange them for splendid Abyss Costumes. Abyss Season 41 will be running until March 6, 2022.
In addition to the features above, a level-cap increase to MX Lv 100 (Lvl 1,399), new maps, improvements to Lost Tower and Abyss Tower, fixes, and tweaks are now available in the game.
