MU Online is celebrating Christmas with the Santa Village and special gifts

WEBZEN announced that its classic MMORPG MU Online’s Christmas events kicked off today.
Covered with snow, the Santa Village is a new hub for quests and activities in the MU world which opens only once a year.
Starting today until January 4th, 2022, players can hunt Santa Claus monsters in Lorencia, Noria, or Devias to get a random buff.
Also, the Santa Claus NPC in the Santa Village will give all players a random gift once a day.
Furthermore, the 100th and the 200th visitors of the Santa Village will receive special gifts such as Rudolph Pet or Snowman Ring.
During the event period, players who hunt Lv. 48 monsters or above will receive colorful Boxes of Ribbons including various weapons, armors, and Jewels according to the monster’s level.
Players also can visit the Adniel NPC to purchase the ‘Talisman Element Change’ item and change the Errtel element of the Pentagram.
In the game shop, a variety of special offers for the Elemental Capsule are also awaiting the players.
MU Online is the long-running PC MMORPG which was developed by Webzen in 2001. Aside from the countless content updates for many years, Webzen continues taking gamers back into the world of the popular MU franchise such as MU Origin and MU Archangel.

MU Archangel adds new Dark Lord class with the new update
-
WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of PC and mobile games, announced that its mobile MMORPG, ‘MU Archangel’ received a new update which adds the new class ‘Dark Lord’ into the game on iOS and Android platforms.
Along with the Dark Lord Update, MU Archangel will take players back into the world of the popular MU franchise. The Dark Lord is a new advanced male class which features an explosive damage, receiving both the protection of the light and the darkness of salvation.
The newly added Dark Lord class can be created when players reach a character of level 300 or higher on the server. Also, players who have the ‘Advanced Dark Lord Class Switch Card’ and the ‘Dark Lord Class Switch Card’ can switch their character to the Dark Lord Class.
Players can build up their character specializing in Strength or Energy. The Strength Dark Lord has the forces of darkness on his side and high affinity with the elements, leading to an explosive attack. On the other hand, the Energy Dark Lord has strong viability and can reinforce his army with a buff containing the power of shining light.
This new update also welcomes a new NPC, the Mysterious Merchant, who appears every Wednesday to the left of the pub in Lorencia. The Mysterious Merchant will give players Mystic and other items, or exchange their rare items for Garnets. The Garnets and Diamonds Shop on the Mysterious Shop are available every Wednesday from 11:00 to 24:00 (game server time) and the products available in each shop are different according to the players’ level.
With this update, players can battle terrifying Elemental Chaos monsters to protect the peace of the MU continent in the new Elemental Chaos dungeon, which opens twice a day. Along with this addition, new features including the Elemental Upgrade system, the Elemental Amplification system, Elemental Set options and fancy effects have been added to the game.
Furthermore, another new Elemental Altar dungeon will be unlocked after reaching Master Lv. 250. There are Grand and Small Crystals in the Elemental Altar Dungeon where players need to protect the crystal from the constantly appearing monsters. At the end of the Elemental Altar, the higher the health of the Grand Crystal, the greater the reward. Players can also enter a new raid three times a day to defeat the powerful BOSS of Kalima.
The update also adds a new Mount Evolution system which allows Mounts to become more fashionable and colorful through the evolution function. Finally, the new Angel Pass, which can be found in the upper right corner of the game on [Angel Pass] after reaching level 100, will continue to support players in their gameplay with Angel Buffs and rewards.
MU Archangel’s global version is currently available to download on the Google Play Store and App Store in Southeast Asia countries, in English, Thai and Chinese. MU ORIGIN 2 adds new Order Realm, Elemental Battle, Mount Resurrection and more

WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of PC and mobile games, has announced a new 6.2 update for its mobile MMORPG MU ORIGIN 2.
Starting from today, MU ORIGIN 2 welcomes the Abyss Season 37 along with the latest update including a new event dungeon called ‘Order Realm’ which allows players to enter the Order Realm once daily. To destroy monsters and obtain exclusive rewards, players can play this dungeon solo or find a party to get buff effects.
This update also features a new raid called ‘Elemental Battle’ where players can compete with all players to climb the floors of the Elemental Battle and take the Elemental treasures which have been found in the Abyss. Elemental Battle will be available every Sunday at 16:00 (Server time) during the Abyss Season.
Mount Resurrection is another new addition, which will allow players to acquire bonus properties and the chance to keep enhancing their trustworthy Mount.
With this update, players can also acquire new Soul Spear Fragments and combine them to obtain Spears with various elemental options.
The new Guild Guardian content has been added to the game, where players will be able to enhance their Guild Guardians for powerful protection properties.
In addition to the above features, Trial of the Colosseum, Refine Object, fixes, and tweaks are now available in the 6.2 update.

MU Online’s Mobile Application ‘MU Lite’ Returns with Muun Defense

WEBZEN has added a new game mode and new events to its mobile application ‘MU Lite’ for its classic MMORPG MU Online.
MU Lite is a mobile application for a mini-game that works with the PC Online game ‘MU Online’, connecting PC version accounts to mobile devices. MU Lite allows players to continue playing MU with an AI auto-playing support and combat repetition and also get various rewards such as 'Jewel' and 'Ruud', which can be used in the MU Continent.
In addition to these features, MU Lite has just added a new game called ‘Muun Defense’ where users can build their army strategically and level up their heroes and Muun units to destroy the enemy’s tower. The best prizes will be waiting for the top-ranked players of Muun Defense.
Along with this update, plenty of events will be running in MU Lite starting from today until December 14. During the limited event period, Exploration Keys will be given to everyone, every day at 18:00 (UTC), to encourage players to try out the MU Lite application. Also, everyone who clears Stage 4-1 of MU Lite can get a special ‘Gargoyle Muun’, which has a special ability.
The MU Lite Ranking Event will offer users a chance to receive various rewards such as +7 Earring of Glory, +7 Earring of Forefathers, Lapidary Stone, and illuminating Earring Box. The higher the points received in the ranking, the greater the prizes given will be.
Aside from these, there are also limited-time events including 30% EXP boosts, 20% Monster HP Decrease and Mystic Gift Box Event in MU Lite. Special sales for Adventurer Support Package and Goblin Points are also waiting for players with the best deals.

MU Archangel adds new Chrysos Arena modes in the latest update

WEBZEN announced that its mobile MMORPG, MU Archangel’s latest content update added new Chrysos Arena modes, Crusade Equipment, and more.
MU Archangel is a mobile spin-off of the popular PC MMORPG ‘MU Online’, which brings elements from the MU universe to mobile devices. After its successful SEA release, MU Archangel has received another update to offer even more PvP content along with the new Chrysos Arena modes.
First, the latest update added a new fierce battlefield, Chrysos Arena, which is unlocked after Master Level 20, with new seasons beginning on the first Tuesday of every month. The arena opens every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 11:00 till 05:00 of the following day, and it is divided into Regular and Final zones.
In the Regular Arena, players must survive fierce duels, and they can enter for free up to six times a day. Players will be rewarded with Battle Coins after each battle, which can be used in the Battle Shop, another new feature added to the game with the update.
Aside from the Regular Arena, the Final Arena is reserved for the 32 best warriors, with matches taking place at 21:00 on the last Thursday and Saturday of every month. Various Arena rewards including Final Rewards, Server Rewards, Tier Rewards, and Match Rewards will be waiting for PvP enthusiasts during the Chrysos Arena season.
Another new feature of the latest update is the Crusade Equipment, which can activate Crusade Skills once their set is completed. Crusade equipment is only available once a player reaches Master Lv. 100 and 5th class change, and it can be crafted by using Jewel of Creation, Crusade Shard and Jewel of Chaos.
Finally, the level cap has been increased from 700 to 800, and this update also includes 7th Class Change, several tweaks, optimizations, and bug fixes.
MU Archangel is available to download on the Google Play Store and App Store in Southeast Asia countries, in English, Thai and Chinese.
