WEBZEN opens pre-registration for PC MMORPG ‘SUN Classic’ ahead of its March l

WEBZEN announced that its new PC massively multiplayer online role-playing game ‘SUN Classic’ has opened pre-registration ahead of its upcoming release on March 10.
WEBZEN launched the global teaser site (https://sunclassic.webzen.com/en/events/grand-open) for SUN Classic today along with an interview video with the SUN Classic team. The developer sneak peek interview gives players a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming SUN Classic’s features before the launch. Along with the teaser site, Webzen’s users can pre-register now to stay up to date with the latest developments and be among the first to know and experience the vast features offered in the game. Pre-registered users will get special benefits including Blessing of the Goddess, Master's Kit, Tree of Life, Tree of Spirit upon the release.
WEBZEN is also running a Refer-a-Friend promotion from February 24th to March 10th. If users share their referral URL for pre-registration with friends, they will receive free in-game rewards including Runestone, 5 Blessing of the Goddess 5 Master's Kit and much more.
SUN Classic is an upcoming PC MMORPG that recreates the PC MMORPG video game ‘Soul of the Ultimate Nation’ which was developed and published in 2006. Following the original main content of the game, SUN Classic offers a fresh start to players with faster leveling, system changes, tweaks, and optimizations for graphic, UI and UX.
SUN Classic will first be available in 5 languages ? Simplified or traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and English for users in Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea. WEBZEN then plans to expand its service to Southeast Asia and other regions.
Additionally, the SUN Classic official Discord server is now live, where players can communicate with other users from all over the world in various communication methods such as the VoIP voice chat.

MU Online Kicks Off Second Round of Update Celebration Events

WEBZEN has launched various new in-game events for its classic PC MMORPG MU Online, along with a renewal of the Magic Gladiator class.
First, the Magic Gladiator renewal brings changes to enhanced skills and protection with a shield, allowing players to choose between Knight type and Magician type classes for their character.
The Knight type Magic Gladiator can choose between a two-hand sword or one-hand sword. For long-ranged attacks, the Magician type is a more adequate fit, as it uses a staff and a shield with enhanced protection.
To celebrate the Magic Gladiator renewal, players who have Magic Gladiator characters can receive special benefits. First, all stats/3rd skill tree/4th skill tree of the Magic Gladiator will be reset for free.
Also, the playtime event offers players a chance to receive rewards such as Seal of Ascension 2, Bloodangel Mastery Armors, and Bloodangel Mastery Weapon according to the number of playing hours.
During the event period, players who have a Magic Gladiator in their account can receive bonus rewards for buying a package from the special sales list.
Aside from these events, the Dimensional Roulette Event will be waiting for players to spin the roulette and win incredible prizes, such as the Silver Heart Weapon and Manticore Armor which are the top-tier Mastery items.
Following the previous Season 16 Part 2 Update, MU Online also continues the celebration with brand new events including the Gun Crusher Skill Tree Reset Event and the Fruit Decrease Stat Reset Event.
In the game, the special reward items which can be acquired in the Elite Zone of Gray Aida have a doubled drop rate until March 8th. During the event period, monsters on the Gray Aida have 20% reduced HP, and 20% reduced Min/Max Elemental Attack.
The Mastery Equipment Enchantment Event guarantees that Bloodangel weapon/armor does not disappear in case of +9 to +11 enhancement failure. Also, the Guardian Upgrade Stones which can be acquired from NPC Moss have a doubled drop rate.
Additionally, players will be able to mount or extract Seed Sphere items for free without using Jewels.
Along with the Maze of Dimensions Monster EXP boost event, players will get doubled rewards and 30% extra EXP by hunting monsters in the Maze of Dimensions.

MU Archangel adds new ‘Eagle’ companion in latest update

WEBZEN announced that its mobile MMORPG, MU Archangel received a new update which adds the new ‘Eagle’ companion into the game on iOS and Android platforms.
Eagle content will be unlocked after reaching level 300 and completing the sub quest. Each Eagle has 4 Property Skills, and the skills are separated into 4 ratings: Magic, Epic, Unique, and Legendary.
Players can evolve their Eagle to a higher rating using the Eagle Soul item as an Evolution material. Also, the Eagle’s Tier and Upgrade option increase when the Eagle is upgraded. When the Eagle engages into a battle, an additional Battle option will be activated.
With this new update, MU Archangel has added ‘Soul Skill’, which also has 4 ratings - Magic, Epic, Unique and Legendary. Soul Skill will be available after reaching both the 6th Class Change and Lv. 600. Activating the Soul Skill can grant various active and passive effects to players.
Along with the Soul Skill, players will get Soul Skill materials such as Soul Stone Powder and Soul Strength Fragments that can grant them Soul Power in the newly added Soul Shop.
Furthermore, the 10th Class Change, several tweaks, optimizations, and fixes are now available in the game.
MU Archangel’s global version is currently available to download on the Google Play Store and App Store in Southeast Asia countries, in English, Thai and Chinese.

WEBZEN reveals new PC MMORPG ‘SUN Classic’, coming in March

WEBZEN has announced that its new PC massively multiplayer online role-playing game ‘SUN Classic’ is set to launch in March.
SUN Classic is an upcoming PC MMORPG, that recreates the PC MMORPG video game ‘Soul of the Ultimate Nation’ which was developed and published in 2006.
Alongside the original main content of the game, SUN Classic offers a fresh start to players with faster leveling, system changes, tweaks, and optimizations for graphic, UI and UX.
WEBZEN has unveiled main character artworks and original soundtracks of Soul of the Ultimate Nation, including ‘Menace of the Army Wings’, composed by Howard Shore, who is most notably known for his scores for The Lord of the Rings.
Set in the fantasy world of the game, the soundtracks will give players a nostalgic feeling that brings them back to 2006. The soundtracks are now available to listen on WEBZEN’s YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/webzengames

MU Online welcomes players to Gray Aida in the latest update Season 16 Part 2

WEBZEN has released the latest update Season 16 Part 2 for its classic PC MMORPG MU Online.
MU Online is the long-running PC MMORPG which was developed by Webzen in 2001. Following up countless content updates for many years, Season 16 Part 2 brings a new filed called ‘Gray Aida’ to the game. Gray Aida is a land that has lost its colors due to the work of dark magic, which brings along new elemental monsters and elite monsters.
Players will be able to collect various types of the Elemental Symbols (Fire/Water/Earth/Wind/Darkness) from the elemental monsters in Gray Aida to combine them into Superior Pentagram and Mastery Parts.
The Season 16 Part 2 update also includes a new set option of 4th Mastery accessory ‘Earring of Blood’ to upgrade the ‘Earring of Glory’. In addition, Mastery Accessory Upgrade Success Rate has been increased by 20%.
With a level-cap increase to Lv. 1350, MU Online will host an event to give away the season level reward, the limited-Edition Magic Gladiator Rexmilon Muun, when a character reaches level 1,300.
MU Online will also offer players extra 30% EXP and a reduction of 20% in Monster HP during the event period. The update event will be running until February 15, 2022.
The Update Point Shopping Event will offer users the opportunity to save up to 20 Update Points per day after logging in to the game for one hour. With the Update Points, players will have a chance to receive various rewards such as Gold Channel Ticket, Wings of Authority, Talisman of Ascension II and more.
The Lapidary Stone Ranking Event will also give out special prizes for Top 100 ranked players. To enter the top 100, players can earn 10 Raking Points per opening of the Lapidary Stone Box and collect them until the end of February 14 (UTC). Additionally, the top 10 players will receive the newly added ‘Earring of Blood’.
Aside from these events, Illuminating Earring Box Renewal, Lapidary Stone Box Sales, up to 30% Bonus Wcoin Event and special package deals are also waiting for players.
