WEBZEN will reveal a brand-new PVC Figure ‘Fairy Elf’ at Wonder Festival 2019

WEBZEN announced a collaboration with VERTEX for the creation of the Fairy Elf (エルフ/弓箭手) figure, one of MU’s favourite characters.
VERTEX is a veteran Japanese figure manufacturer specialised in a brand of pretty girl (bishoujo) figures with a combination of colorful costumes, weapons and cute looks.
Starting from June 8th, 2019, WEBZEN and VERTEX will showcase the prototype figure of Fairy Elf at Wonder Festival 2019 Shanghai, filling the halls with art toys/high-end figures/licenced merchandise to one-of-a-kind pieces from around the world. Wonder Festival 2019 Shanghai will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center in China.
After the creation of the exquisite Fairy Elf sculpture by Ishiyama Yuki (石山 裕記), renowned for his heroic imaginings of characters from One Piece, VERTEX has managed the manufacturing and production of Fairy Elf, featuring colourful wings, armour, and dynamic action poses of the original Elf character which are featured in the game.
WEBZEN and VERTEX will exhibit the 1/7 scale unpainted Fairy Elf prototype figure, made of ABS and PVC materials and standing approximately 230mm in the exhibition this coming weekend. Pre-ordering of the painted version will be available globally in August.
With this exhibition, WEBZEN expects not only to promote their Intellectual Property and their line-up of MU series characters to the public who visit the venue, but also to expand their IP business into the global market. WEBZEN is currently working on diverse collaborations with potential partners to extend its reach through IP collaboration with the toy and webtoon industry.
Meanwhile, WEBZEN also collaborated with Sentinel to design the new art toy ‘KnightWeGo’ by combining another famous MU character ‘Dark Knight’ and Sentinel’s action figure ‘35MechatroWeGo’ for global sales.

MU ORIGIN 2 is now available for download on Android and iOS

WEBZEN announced today that its new mobile MMORPG MU ORIGIN 2 is now available in North America, Latin America and Europe.
MU ORIGIN 2 is the second mobile spin-off from the main MU series and blends the franchise’s predominant combat system and characters, boasting improved graphics and amped up gameplay, along with other elements that players would expect from MU ORIGIN 2.
Being fully localized into English, Portuguese and Spanish, MU ORIGIN 2 is welcoming MU franchise fans and MMO enthusiasts who loves to dive into competitive challenges including intense boss raids and PvP battles, which are all reminiscent of the classical MU elements and gameplay on their mobile devices.
Starting from today, players can begin their adventure by choosing amongst one of three classes in three servers - US West, US East, and Europe. There’s the Dark Knight, the perfect combination of the power in close-ranged combat, the Dark Wizard, a magic wielder that deals damage in a wide area, and the Elf character class, a master of the ranged attacks and healing. Each have their own abilities that makes them enjoyable to upgrade and play, as they are capable of equipping heaps of powerful equipment. The characters will seem even more unique when accompanied by a Guardian Pet that will join and aid you players battle.

WEBZEN has announced that its new mobile MMORPG MU ORIGIN 2 is finally set to launch on the 28th of May 2019.
MU ORIGIN 2 is the second mobile spin-off from the main MU series and blends the franchise’s predominant combat system and characters, boasting improved graphics and amped up gameplay, among other elements that players would expect from MU ORIGIN 2. With the official launch of the game, a huge selection of quests, dungeons, modes, pets, items and much more will be waiting for players to discover and unlock in the game.
Following the game’s huge success in Asia and a successful closed beta of the global version, MU ORIGIN 2 will be fully localized into English, Portuguese and Spanish. It will be available to download for free on the Google Play Store and App Store in North America, Latin America and Europe on May 28th.
Along with the announcement of the official launch date, Webzen today released a cinematic trailer for MU ORIGIN 2 via the official Webzen YouTube channel. The trailer shows off 3 distinct characters - Dark Knight, Dark Wizard, or Elf, and the game’s main storyline that players can experience from the game. MU Online Celebrates its 10th Anniversary with Special 10th Anniversary Boxes

WEBZEN announced today that its full-3D MMORPG MU Online’s 10th Anniversary Celebration Event is now live in-game.
10 years ago today, WEBZEN published and began servicing MU Online’s global version, boasting 56 million registered users to date, on May 21, 2009. MU Online is turning 10 years old now and to celebrate they are not only holding an anniversary event in-game but also offering special time-limited packages.
Starting today, until June 4th, the MU Online team is running various in-game anniversary events such as Evomon Hunting Event, Evomon Ranking Event, and Mystic Gift Box Event.
First, players can collect Summoning Scroll Fragments by hunting monsters to create an Evomon Summoning Scroll. Once they drop the Evomon Summoning Scroll to the ground to summon a Lv. 1 Evomon and hunting the Evomon, they will have a chance to level up their Evomon or receive a dropped special reward box containing items including Jewels, (Hero) Bloodangel Soul, Garuda’s Feather, or Excellent Items.
Players will be ranked by the maximum level of the evolved Evomon and the total damage to the Evomon. When listed in the top rank, they will receive special rewards - Legendary Dark Wizard Muun, Soul Mastery Set, and Ruud.
During the event period, players can also purchase 1,000 Goblin Points at a very low price, which they can use to purchase Gift Boxes in the in-game shop. Upon opening the boxes, users will randomly receive various rewards such as 4th Wings, Earring of Wrath, Holyangel Mastery Weapon, Garuda’s Feather, Bloodangel Soul, Scrolls, Rings, or Lucky Item Tickets.
For a limited time only, MU Online’s 10th Anniversary Box/Premium Box will be available for purchase in the in-game Shop. The 10th Anniversary Box includes Gold Channel Ticket (7 Days), Talisman of Ascension II (7 Days), Skeleton Ring (7 Days), Pet Skeleton (7 Days), and Scroll Package (7 Days), and the 10th Anniversary Premium Box includes Gold Channel Ticket (14 Days), Talisman of Ascension II (14 Days), Pink Panda Ring (14 Days), Pet Panda (14 Days), and Scroll Package (14 Days).

QubeTown Launches Wedding Festival with the Latest Update

WEBZEN released the latest content update of its mobile farming simulation game QubeTown.
QubeTown is a feature-packed town building game available on mobile that offers tons of farming fun and plenty of fun missions to undertake with a cute aesthetic.
The latest update to QubeTown brings wedding-themed content along with a new in-game event called ‘Wedding Festival’. The primary goal of Wedding Festival is to help out Bryde, a new event character who is struggling to organize her perfect wedding.
To make her special day the best it can be, players will be tasked with gathering a floral crown, a flower macaroon, and a wedding cake to decorate her wedding.
In order to gather the required items, users should send their citizens out on expeditions to gather the necessary Bouquets. Once their citizens return from their expeditions, they will be able to use the bouquets to begin creating the special event items. Player will need to visit the Weaver’s Mill to craft the Floral Crown, the Bakery to make the Flower Macaroon, and the Cake Shop to get the Wedding Cake.
After bringing the three event items that were created at the production buildings to Bryde, players will be rewarded with a bunch of rubies, a new costume, and the wedding-themed landscape items. Wedding Festival will be running for a week from May 9th to May 15, 2019.
New players will first need to reach at least level 14 in order to participate. QubeTown is now available for free download on both the App Store and Google Play.
