MU Legend Releases Black Phantom with Gates of Glory Expansion

WEBZEN has announced the release of the new content update Gates of Glory for its action MMORPG MU Legend.
Following the Chaos Castle update in November, the unique hack 'n' slash action MMORPG MU Legend receives the much-anticipated Gates of Glory update today.
The new content update introduces the Black Phantom class, the 6th class available, to the game. The powerful female mage inflicts wide-area damage and possesses the skill to amplify her power through use of the Orb of Darkness.
The update also brings various additions to gameplay and improvements to existing elements, most notably the extension of the storyline with new areas in Noria and Litenberg and a level-cap increase to level 80, which allows users to explore the new dungeons Tower of Dawn, Ancient Kanturian Ark and Sleighbowa. In addition, Tier 4 Wings can now be upgraded to Ancient Tier 5 Wings in order to gain higher stats, and exclusive Level 80 Unique Weapons can be acquired through crafting the Unique Weapon Chest.
Along with the update, MU Legend introduces the Rebirth system, following the model of WEBZEN's popular mobile MMORPG MU Origin. Players can upgrade their characters from what's now known as their Current Life to the 1st and 2nd Rebirth upon reaching the minimum requirement of Soul Level 300 to create even more powerful characters.
Players can also look forward to improvements to Chaos Castle and to the Talisman System. The beginning of the official season of Chaos Castle brings along the Chaos Castle Merchant NPC, Phillip, and a ranking system, making Chaos Castle a regular fixture in the game. Newly added Talismans unlock previously unavailable skills and enemies, while Talisman Book Transfer now enables players to transfer Talisman Book information from one character to other characters within the same account.
In addition to the new content, and as requested by users, balance for all classes and certain monster skills has been adjusted, and the dungeon difficulty has been modified to lower the barrier and allow for both single player and party player entrance to dungeons.
To celebrate the arrival of the Gates of Glory update, the MU Legend team has arranged various events: players can look forward to the Black Phantom's Fortune event that rewards the achievement of level goals with Bound Redzen, and to the Invite Your Friends event that encourages playing MU Legend together with friends through giftboxes and level rewards. A Black Phantom Special Attendance Event, Support Chests for new and returning users as well as Noria's Expedition Note Part 2 will provide players with valuable growth support items, and server buffs will increase EXP and drop rates even more for fast levelling up.

MU Origin 2 is now up for pre-registration on Google Play

WEBZEN has announced that its new mobile MMORPG MU Origin 2 is now up for pre-registration on Google Play.
MU Origin 2 is the second mobile spin-off from the main MU series and blends the franchise’s predominant combat system and characters with greatly enhanced visuals and a more intense gameplay experience.
Following the game’s success in Asia, MU Origin 2 will have a fully localised release in North America, Latin America and Europe. Every player will be able to pre-register for the game on Android through the Google Play Store, and receive a notification at the Official Launch. To gear up for the game's launch, WEBZEN held a closed beta test from March 29 to April 7, allowing Android gamers to give a portion of the game a test drive. From the closed beta, WEBZEN collected all the data and revealed MU Origin 2’s beta infographic to illustrate the massive pool of player statistics collected from the beta.
The beta tester’s most picked class was the Dark Wizard among three classes - Dark Knight, Dark Wizard, and Elf. The number of levels cleared in the tower was 2,337,791 and 38,274 players were killed in PvP battles. Millions of potions and feathers were used in the beta. MU Origin’s 7.0 Update Adds Reverse Maps and Clan System

WEBZEN released today the latest 7.0 update of its real-time mobile MMORPG MU Origin.
This new update to MU Origin brings the new Reverse maps, Clan system, Clan Arena, Secret Ruins and more.
Reverse maps are accessible upon completion of the quest [Ancient Legend(1)]. Players can access the Reverse maps through [Character > Reverse > Dark Land] or [Map > All Server > Dark Land (Reverse)].
Reverse level, EXP, equipment, and buffs that are active only in Reverse maps are applied in Reverse maps and are totally independent from the original character level. Reverse items are categorized into three Tiers: Tier 1 Blood Angel, Tier 2 Brave Angel, and Tier 3 Storm Angel and will only be available in the Reverse maps. Players will automatically receive a Tier 1 Rare equipment upon activating Reverse.
This newest patch also adds a new social feature along with a Clan system. Players can invite their friends to their clan or join a new clan which can have up to 5 members including one Clan Master and 4 Clan members. Along with the Clan system, Clan Arena, a new 5 vs 5 Clan battle, will have Clans fighting each other daily from 18:00 to 24:00.
Players who succeed in becoming the best Clan in Clan Arena will then be able to participate in Clan Assault, an all server event, where the top 64 Clans of the Clan Arena will be given the rights to participate in Clan Assault on the 9th day of every month from 2:00 pm to 04:00 pm. All members of the Clan who places in 1st place will then be given the special title "King of Glory".
With a new Mount Emblem System which includes 6 parts of the Mount Emblem and 3 grades of Magic, Rare and Epic, upgrading mounts will never end. Activating the Mount Emblem system will open one slot, and additional slots will open to 6 slots according to the Mount's level.
A new Ritual, 'Ritual of Lava' has been added to the game. Ritual is an event for the players that have joined the Corps to receive rewards by completing quests during the event period, starting on April 29 at 00:00.

Additionally, the MU Origin team is running various events for players to fully enjoy the new update and giveaways from April 27th to May 5th, 2019 (UTC). Players can enhance their Equipment up to +20 and give and receive gifts with their friends. Also, they can purchase limited Package items and claim extra Lucky Stars for Lucky Draw during the event period.

MU Legend: Pre-Registration Begins for the Black Phantom

WEBZEN has announced that pre-registration for MU Legend's newest character, the Black Phantom, is now available on the official website.
The Black Phantom is a new human, female mage class with her own unique set of skills and mechanics. She can inflict high damage on a huge number of enemies and can amplify her power with the new Orb of Darkness system.
From 18 until 29 April, players can register their account for the Black Phantom character and receive exclusive rewards such as the Blue Phantom Tiger (Unlimited) and a Character Creation Slot Unlock Item when the update arrives. The rewards will be delivered to players via email as a coupon and can be redeemed on their accounts after the scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, 30 April, 2019 (UTC). In addition to the new character, the upcoming massive content update, Gates of Glory, will include a level-cap increase to 80, new Mythic and Epic dungeons, new Noria dungeons such as the Tower of Dawn, Ancient Kanturian Ark and Sleighbowa, and new areas in Noria. The Gates of Glory update, along with the Black Phantom, will be arriving in the game on 30 April, 2019.
