MU Origin Update 4.0 Released Today

WEBZEN, a global developer and publisher of free-to-play games, released today the 4.0 update of its real-time mobile MMORPG MU Origin.
The latest update to MU Origin brings new content including Force System, Ritual Event, Guild League Cheer, Mount Equipment and more.
First of all, Force System allows players to choose one of three different Forces to fight with for the supreme power. The players who join the Force will be allowed to enter the Force map where they can proceed with the Force quests, defeat the Force Boss and collect Force resources to earn rewards such as Force Contribution and Force Grade.
This new update also includes Ritual System, which is a new event for players that have joined the Corps to receive various Corps titles and rewards by completing quests during the event period. Ritual event will begin on Monday, October 29th at 00:00.
With the 4.0 update, Mount equipment, which not only dress up mounts but also increases character's options, has been added to the game. Mount equipment consists of 6 parts, including Horseshoe, Saddle, Spur Whip, Armor, and Reins, each offering different attack/defense options. In addition, players who achieve Enhance, Option or Tier requirements for Mount Equipment will receive special buffs such as Max HP and Extra Elemental DMG, Max HP and Deadly Hit Chance, or Max HP and Resist Deadly Hit.
Furthermore, the update increases the game’s level cap to 15 Rebirth Lv.100, offers a new mount ‘Hell Hound’, new Mount Costume ‘Heavenly Griffin’, and new tiers for Achievement Title, Arena Division and Guild League Cheer system. With the arrival of the 4.0 update, the MU Origin team will be running a special event in celebration of the new update and Halloween, which includes daily log-in event, collection event, +20 Enhance event, double event and other special promotions.

WEBZEN announces a new casual game QubeTown for iOS and Android

WEBZEN announced the launch of its new mobile town simulation game, QubeTown in Canada, Australia and the Philippines.
Developed by the Korean studio ARUMGAMES and published by WEBZEN, QubeTown is a town simulation game that challenges users to manage their own town by constructing buildings, producing crops, trading goods and protecting their citizens.
Players can build and decorate their very own dream town to protect their citizens from nasty trolls. QubeTown features the following contents:
- Build your own town with a variety of unique buildings and cute landscape decorations
- Harvest crops, produce food, and craft goods for your citizens
- Trade goods with neighbors and friends to earn gold and prosper
- Explore and travel the mysterious world of QubeTown with your brave citizens
- Protect your citizens from evil trolls destroying your town
- Customize your Lord or Lady with one-of-a-kind hairstyles and outfits

QubeTown is fully localized into English, and now available for free download on the Google Play only in Canada, Australia and the Philippines. And the game will also go live on iOS in select countries in the next few days.

Shot Online Golf: World Championship Brings New Royal Club, Royal Stone and Pro

WEBZEN launched the latest content update of its mobile golf game Shot Online Golf: World Championship.
Shot Online Golf: World Championship, the mobile adaptation of the PC MMO golf game Shot Online, is a real-time, multiplayer golf game available to download for free worldwide.
The latest update to Shot Online Golf introduces the new premium Royal Club and Royal Stone. Royal Club’s stats and abilities are superior to other normal clubs in the game. Players will not only be able to produce Royal Club by using Royal Stone, but also evolve it for higher stats and abilities. Royal Stone is now available for sale in the Shop and can also be obtained through ongoing event or as extra rewards in the game.
Webzen has also added the new Pro Shop system to allow golfers to produce their Royal Clubs and various golf items or clothes that were previously limited to the Shop and as special event rewards.
With the newest update, Shot Online Golf’s users can challenge their golf skills to hit the perfect shots in a wide range of golf clubs, apparel and equipment that they produce on their own.
In addition, this update will include bug fixes, system improvements, adjustments for Evolution Stone and Total Ability, and an enriched experience to enjoy with special events including login event, extra bonus/rewards, and giveaways.

MU Origin 3.0 update brings a new dungeon, mounts, Server Assault mode, and more

WEBZEN launched another content update over the summer with the 3.0 update of its real-time mobile MMORPG MU Origin.
The latest update to MU Origin introduces a new server dungeon, Infernal Canyon, where players can defeat the boss monster and claim rewards together with warriors from all servers. Available after 3 Rebirth Level 60, this new dungeon allows a maximum of five players to form a party and enter the Infernal Canyon for 15 minutes.
Webzen has also added the new Mount system not only to help speed up their journey, but also to increase their stats significantly. In addition, each Mount has a special skill to use in battle. The Mounts can be acquired through Mount Capture or Infernal Canyon.
With this new update, the Awaken system allows players to activate Awaken Stones to enhance their equipment. These come in two forms - Attack and Defense, which can be used to upgrade items like weapons, rings, and armor.
One of the biggest new features is the new Server Assault mode, which allows players to loot other servers via PvP fights. To join this new event, players need to reach Rebirth 7 Level 55, and then show up every Sunday at 21:30. Each Season lasts 13 weeks.
A new all-server area for Rebirth 14, Abyss Temple is also available in the game.
In addition to these new features, this update will include system improvements and adjustments, and an enriched experience to enjoy with a multitude of special events including login event, extra bonus/rewards, and giveaways.

WEBZEN Launches a Summer Event and New Content Updates for Its Games

WEBZEN has launched a summer event on its global game portal webzen.com, coinciding with new content updates for its games.
From today through to 4 September, WEBZEN will hold many events for all its games, including MU Legend, MU Online, Rappelz, Flyff and Continent of the Ninth Seal (C9) on the official website: http://www.webzen.com/events/summer-2018/intro
During this time, players can reap benefits such as more loot and gold, additional EXP, free items, daily login rewards, top-up bonuses or extra rewards. This year's summer events for Webzen games are open to both veterans and new members alike.

The Hipster clothes were designed by a French player in another contest, in which players were invited to design a fashion collection. The update to the US server will be deployed tomorrow.
